Abstract

ducation is a process of change or personal development of the students in all aspects of life, forming a complete personality (Insan Kamil) either as social beings, as well as individual beings, so that they can adapt and live in the wider community well, including being responsible to yourself, others, and God. Character education is a system of cultivation of character values that include components of knowledge, awareness or willpower, and actions to implement these values, either against God, ourselves, and others, the environment. When character education is applied systematically and sustainably, a child will be better in emotional management. This emotional intelligence is an important provision in preparing children to meet the future, because someone more easily and successfully to face all kinds of life challenges, including the challenge to succeed academically. This paper elaborates character education in the perspective of the Quran as a holy book of Muslims.

Abstract

Character education can be defined as the process of planting the essential values in children through a series of learning activities and assistance so that the students as individuals are able to understand, experience, and integrate values into core values in education into her personality. By placing the character education within the framework of the dynamics and dialectics of the individual establishment, the men and women educators are expected to increasingly be aware of the importance of education as a means of forming the character code of conduct, moral formation and enrichment of individual value by providing space for exemplary figure and creating an environment conducive to the growth process, such as comfort and security of self-development environment that helps each other in overall dimensions (technical, intellectual, psychological, moral, social, aesthetic, and religious).

Abstract

This study aims to know life skill implementation at Islamic Boarding School Darul Falah Be-Songo Ngaliyan Semarang. This study is a library research by examining various literature or relevant research as a source of data. The results of the study show that Islamic Boarding School Darul Falah Be-Songo Ngaliyan Semarang has organized activities that have life s skills. These skills include vocational skills and academic skills. Vocational skills here in the form of cooking skills, embroidery, make-up and other types of crafts. In addition, in it also taught how the students can speak well, both in expressing opinions and in speeches and other skills that become the main attraction for the surrounding community. The benefits, can improve the quality of thinking, quality of heart, and physical quality of students. Abstract

This paper aims to convey some views on the position of the teacher as an educator. This is seen as a highly important case because in an implementation of education system, the teacher occupies the leading position in education itself. However, it needs to be realized that in teacher recruitment, there are several requirements that need to be completed. In this paper also presented some insights from various perspectives which underlie the teacher's view as an educator. All of which contain ideas of direction and guidance. In this paper also discusses the teacher typology which includes teacher requirements, teacher nature, and teacher tasks. In addition to the teacher typology that must be considered, an educational institution needs to form a code of ethics that is used as a guide by teachers who educate students at the institution. So that there is a need to standardize the minimum requirements of teachers, such as: believing and devoting to Allah, being mature, knowledgeable, physically and spiritually healthy, noble, and able to educate in a broad sense. Teacher is expected to concern of the awareness of responsibility to maximize the potential of students to become individuals who have noble character and personality, maturity, intelligence (intellectual, emotional and spiritual) who are more mature and can be responsible.
