Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan  media Big book pembelajaran pada sub tema indahnya keragaman budaya negeriku pada muatan IPS di kelas IV dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri 026609 Binjai. Sampel dalam penelitian ini dalah siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri 026609 Binjai Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas IV SD Negeri 026609 Binjai Selatan yang beralamat di Jalan Sei Babalan Pujidadi Kecamatan Binjai Selatan. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara bertahap dari bulan Maret sampai bulan April Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020.Teknik pengumpulan data digunakan tes dan angket. Teknik analisis menggunakan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan nilai gainc score diperoleh nilai rata-rata gain score pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,75 dengan kategori tinggi. Sedangkan nilai gains score pada kelas kontrol yaitu 0,46 dengan kategori sedang. Hasil penelitian nilai thitung (=0,000) sehingga terdapat perbedaan karena sig (2-tailed) < 0,05 dan thitung bernilai positif sehingga H0 ditolak. Nilai pretest kelas eksperimen sebelum menggunakan big book rata-rata 45,28. Pada kelas kontrol memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 45,12. Sedangkan nilai postes siswa pada kelas eksperimen setelah menggunakan big book rata-rata 86,80. Nilai posttest kelas kontrol memperole rata-rata sebesar 72,40 Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan big book sangat efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan metode ADDIE, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan Buku Saku IPA yang dikembangkan berbasis Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS) untuk kalangan siswa sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data adalah dengan tehnik deskriftif kualitatif yang diungkapkan dalam distribusi skor dan kategori skala penilaian. Sebagai sample uji coba kelompok besar diambil siswa sebanyak 19 orang, kelompok sedang sebanyak 9 orang dan kelompok kecil sebanyak 3 orang yang diambil secara total sampling dengan kemampuan, jenis kelamin dan tingkat kecerdasan yang bervariasi untuk diajarkan. Objek pada penelitian ini adalah pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran tehadap keterampilan proses sains. Hasil pretes siswa mencapai rata-rata skor 34. Sedangkan hasil postes setelah menggunakan media auduiovisual mencapai rata-rata skor 75,6. Untuk melihat efektivitas Buku Saku dengan menggunakan rumus N-gain dengan nilai N-Gain mencapai 0,63 dan dapat dikategorikan efektifitas sedang. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa buku saku IPA berbasis KPS yang dikembangkan untuk sekolah dasar efektif digunakan di dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Community service activities for lecturers are an effort to carry out one of the tri dharma tasks of higher education. This service activity aims to educate the public about the importance of protecting the environment around river basins by planting productive trees. In addition, the community can also understand the importance of reforestation to restore natural conditions, especially river banks which will be damaged due to natural and human factors. The implementation of this community service activity was carried out by providing an open green space for the elderly and the local community on May 28 2022 in the riverbank area of ​​Jl. Letjen Jamin Ginting Km 45 Gelora Kasih GBKP 100 Year Jubilee Park Complex, Suka Makmur Village, Sibolangit District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province. This Community Service is very beneficial for the elderly who are in the area where the tree is planted. This greening culture must be familiarized from an early age through the practice of planting trees. By frequently planting trees, it is hoped that it can increase people's awareness and love for preserving and protecting the environment, especially watersheds. With this Community Service activity, it is hoped that it will help the community to realize the importance of protecting the environment. The expected output targets from this activity are, First, provide an open green space for the elderly and the local community. Second, growing the local community's economy from the production of matoa and simpur tree seeds. Third, Improving the welfare of the surrounding community and the elderly.

Abstract

The form of this research is qualitative research. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data of this study are the values of Moral Education and Student Character Development in the 2013 curriculum thematic books. The data sources used in this study are thematic books with themes 1 (one) and 2 (two). Data collection techniques with interviews and documentation. The results of this study reveal several things from the thematic learning book where the values of moral education and character development in the thematic learning book produce 42 data, with 2 data divisions, and 3 sub themes on themes 1 and 2. In theme 1 there are 21 data with division 3 sub themes, and in theme 2 there are 21 data divided into 3 sub themes. The research subjects were teachers of SD Negeri 101744 Klambir Village, totaling 3 (three) teachers. With the results of teacher interviews, namely: 1) In thematic learning there is moral education and character development and concepts in the material so that the knowledge acquired by students can be implemented in the form of practice outside of school. 2) The teaching materials used are expected to be in accordance with the KD and the indicators developed are also in accordance with the curriculum used. 3) The learning process is not just giving a description of the material, but educators must also deliver material simultaneously to strengthen knowledge about material related to moral education and the development of students' character.

Abstract

This research aims to develop and test the effectiveness of a mathematics pocketbook on the topic of fraction multiplication in improving the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at Tri Bakti Private Elementary School. The research approach used is the development method with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The analysis stage includes the analysis of students' and teachers' needs as well as curriculum analysis. In the design stage, the pocketbook is designed according to the results of the analysis. The development stage involves expert validation and product revision based on feedback from validators. Implementation is carried out with a limited trial on 24 fifth-grade students to measure the effectiveness of the pocketbook. Evaluation is conducted through data analysis from the trial results, including pre-tests and post-tests, as well as student response questionnaires. The results show that the developed pocketbook is effective in improving students' learning outcomes. Students who used the pocketbook showed significant improvement in their learning outcomes compared to before using the pocketbook. Additionally, student responses to the pocketbook were very positive, indicating that this learning media is engaging and motivating for them in learning mathematics. The pocketbook contributes positively to the learning process by presenting the material in a concise, clear, and interesting manner. In conclusion, this mathematics pocketbook on the topic of fraction multiplication can be used as an alternative effective learning medium to improve the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at Tri Bakti Private Elementary School.

Abstract

This development research aims to explain the procedures for developing monopoly game media and analyze student responses to monopoly game media. The development of monopoly game media was carried out to foster students' enthusiasm for learning in poetry material. Apart from that, this media was developed in accordance with the characteristics of students and the students' learning environment, namely the school environment implements a teaching and learning process through collaboration between subject matter and the natural environment, so that the learning process is done while learning. play. This research includes Research and Development research using the ADDIE (Analize, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) development model which was tested on 30 class IV students at SDN 105352 Pasar Miring, Pagar Merbau District. Data collection techniques in this research used questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques use quantitative data analysis and qualitative data analysis. This monopoly game media was developed as a learning medium for poetry material for class IV Indonesian language subjects at SDN 105352 Pasar Miring, Pagar Merbau District. This monopoly game media product has several components, namely a container, game board, manual and answer key, icon cards, dice and player miniatures. This research and development produces monopoly game learning media products. The validation results for the monopoly game media product obtained valid criteria with a score from the material expert validator of 97.5%, the media design expert validator 87.5%, the learning expert validator 95%. The monopoly game media also received a positive score from student responses, namely 97.5%. Based on the student response criteria, the monopoly game media as a medium for learning poetry material in Indonesian subjects is positive.
