This study aims to find out the implementation of PPMK programme in Margodadi Subdistrict Metro City, to find out whether the PPMK programme has been effective in improving the income of KSM members in Metro City, and to find out the factors related to the effectiveness of PPMK Programme in Metro City. The location of this study was chosen purposively in Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) Margodadi Sub District, South Metro District, Metro City. The respondents of this research are 25 members of Kelompok Swadaya Masyarakat (KSM) who got capital loans in PPMK Programme. Data of this research was collected in August-September 2016. The research method used case method in which data was analyzed by descriptive and tabulation analysis to test the hypothesists. The results of the research showed that the implementation of PPMK Programme had been running well . PPMK Program was effective on improving the income of KSM members, and the factors that related to the effectiveness of PPMK Programme were human resource quality, sosial capital condition, and finance resource quality.Key words: effectiveness, LKM, PPMK Programme

This research aimed to assess the response of farmers group member towards PUAP program in Kebun Tebu District; investigate the factors related to farmer's response towards the implementation of the PUAP Program in Kebun Tebu District; know the suitability between the planning and implementation of PUAP Program. The research was conducted in Pekon Cipta Mulya, Kebun Tebu District, West Lampung Regency. The population of this research were all farmers who take part in RADP in Kebun Tebu District. The sample of this research were 100 farmers who became member of Gapoktan Mulya Mandiri in Pekon Cipta Mulya which choosen using cluster sampling method. The research data collection was conducted from August until September 2015. The research data wascolleceted by questionnaire and anylized by descriptive analysis method. The results of this research showed thatt the response of farmers group member categorized as quite good. factors related to farmer’s response towards the implementation of PUAP Program were the level of formal education of farmers, farmers' knowledge, motivation of farmers joint in PUAP Program and farmers’ farming experience. The purposes of this research are to analyze the performance of PUMP program in Bandar Lampung, the revenue of fisheries businessmen before and after implementing PUMP program in Bandar Lampung, and the constraint of PUMP program in Bandar Lampung. This research was conducted in Bumi Waras Sub-district of Bandar Lampung. This research applied census method by involving 77 fisheries businessmen as the subject of PUMP program. The research data was analyzed by descriptive and statistics comparative test. The results of this research showed that the performance of PUMP program in Bandar Lampung was good. The income of fisheries businessmen before taking the program was Rp5,094,759.70 and the income of fisheries businessmen after taking the program became Rp5,067,661.89. a There were some problems during the implementation of the PUMP program in Bandar Lampung, such as some of the program’s target was less appropriate, less assistants, and the program’s target was lack of guidance. This research aims to analyze the level of community participation and factors related to the participation of the community in Lampung Mangrove Center (LMC) program in Margasari Village, Labuhan Maringgai, East Lampung Regency. The location was purposively chosen with the consideration that the activity of the center was in Margasari consisting of 12 hamlets. The research was conducted in June – August 2017. The results showed that the level of participation of most community members is included in a medium classification. Formal education level and cosmopolite characteristics relate significantly to their participation, while their age, the length of staying in the village, and their knowledge on the program do not relate to their participation.Key words: community, participation, program LMC

The research is to analyze competence of Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs), ability of farmer groups, and analyze relationship between the AEWs’ competence and the ability of farmer groups to support the distinguished North Raman BP3K. The research method used is a survey carried out in North Raman subdistrict of East Lampung. Data were collected in March - July 2017. The data are analyzed descriptively and using Kruskals Wallis test. Respondents are 77 people consisting of three AEWs’ and 74 rice farmers in North Raman subdistrict specified using a purposive sampling method. The results showed the Competence of the AEWs’ is in medium category and the ability of farmer groups is in medium category. There is relationship between the competence of the AEW’s and the ability of farmer groups to support the distinguished BP3K in North Raman subdistrict.Key words: AEWs’ Competence, BP3K, farmer groups’ capability

The purpose of this research was to know the factors that associated with the level of farmer participation in UP2PJK program in Seputih Raman Subdistrict and the relationship between the level of farmer participation in UP2PJK program and rice productivity. Data of this research was collected on Agustus-September 2016. The respondents of this research were 83 of rice farmers who were choosen by simple random sampling method. The analytical methods used in this research were descriptive and quantitative methods. The result of this research shows that associating factors with the level of farmer participation in UP2PJK program were knowledge of the program, frequency of following extension activity, farmer motivation, and level of cosmopolitness. There was no relationship between the level of farmer participation and productivity of rice in UP2PJK program in Seputih Raman Subdistrict Central Lampung Regency.Key words: participation, productivity, program

The objectives of this research are to find out: (1) The dynamics of farmer group, (2) The lavel of integrated plant management implementation ‘PTT’ of paddy farmers group, (3) The productivity lavel of paddy farmers group, (4) The correlation between the lavel of farmers group dynamics with the integrated plant management implementation aplication rate, (5) The correlation between the lavel of farmers group dynamics with productivity lavel. This research was conducted in Palas Aji village, district palas, south lampung regency from April to Juni 2013. Fifty six farmers as respondents were selected by referring to Sugiarto et al. theory (2003). This research used survey method. Samples were taken using simple random sampling. Data were analyzed using descriptive method, and correlations among variables were tested using Rank Spearman’s correlation. The results showed that: (1) The dynamics group lavel included in dynamics category, (2) The lavel of integrated plant management implementation ‘PTT’ of paddy farmers group is at high category, (3) The productivity lavel of paddy farmers group has at 7,3 tons/ha average of value and included in medium category, (4) The correlation between the lavel of farmers group dynamics with the integrated plant management implementation result showed that related, (5) The correlation between the lavel of farmers group dynamics with productivity lavel result showed that related. This research aims to know corn productivity level in the working area of the extension center (BPPP) Natar Subdistrict, the level of Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs) in the BPPP, factors related to the level of the performance of AEWs, the level of satisfaction of corn farmers on the performance of AEWs, and the relationship between the level of performance of AEWs and the level of satisfaction of corn farmers. Research conducted in BPPP Natar Subdistrict, South Lampung Subdistrict uses a survey method. The sample in this study consisted of eight AEWs and 54 corn farmers. Data analysis method uses a descriptive method and Rank Spearman correlation. The results showed the average level of corn farming productivity in the Natar Subdistrict is 6,49 tons/ha. The performance of AEWs is good. The factors related to the performance of AEWs are the age of the AEWs, working period of the AEWs, and availability of facilities and infrastructure. The level of satisfaction of corn farmers on the performance of AEWs in Natar Subdistrict is moderately satisfied, and the level of performance of AEWs has a significant relationship with the level of satisfaction of corn farmers in the Natar Subdistrict. Lampung Province is the fourth cocoa producer in Indonesia after North Sumatra, West Sumatera, and Aceh. Lampung Province cocoa trade is large because the demand for its export and export price are relatively high. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the volume of cocoa exports and determine the impact of cocoa export tax rates (taxe exports) in Lampung Province. This study used both descriptive and quantitative analysis methods in which data was obtained from the relevant authorities as secondary data for 20 years, starting from 1993 to 2012. The research data was analyzed by SPSS 16.0 program for window. For purposes of data analysis and hypothesis testing proposed, used the method of”econometrics”. The results of this study showed that 1) the factors that significantly affected the export volume of cocoa in Lampung Province was the volume of cocoa production, cocoa export price (ICCO),interest rate, domestic price of cocoa and tariffs out (export tax) cocoa and 2) the impact after rising tariffs out (export taxes) would reduce the volume of cocoa exports in Lampung Province.Keywords : international trade, cacao, exports, export tarrif, export volume

The purposes of this research were to determine the performance of organic and anorganic farming systems in wetland rice cultivation, rice farmers’ perception, the related factors to farmers' perception, the differences in rice farmers’ perceptions, and the constraints faced in that applications in Pajaresuk and Pujodadi Village. The data collection was conducted in November - December 2017. The research method used was census. The number of organic and anorganic rice farmers sampled were 35 farmers. The data was analyzed by descriptive analysis, Spearman rank correlation and the Mann-Whitney test. The results of this research show that the performance of organic and anorganic rice farming were land processing, seeding, planting, pest and disease controlling, fertilizating, irrigating, and harvesting. The differences performance of organic and anorganic rice farming were in seeding, pests and diseases controlling, and fertilizing. The rice farmers' perception to organic farming systems was quite good. The related factors to farmers' perception were social interaction, community support, and farmers' interests. There were no significant differences between organic farmers’ perceptions and the anorganic farmers’ perceptions. The constraint faced in the application of organic farming system was the difficulty of maintenance in cultivation, while in the application of anorganic farming systemwas the high costs, but the selling price was relatively low.
