This study aims to determine the level of role of agricultural extension workers on adopting integrated crop management, determine the level of adoption of integrated crop management of paddy rice in increasing productivity, analyze the relationship between the role of agricultural extension workers and adoption of integrated crop management, and analyze the relationship between adoption of integrated crop management and the productivity of lowland rice. Determination of sampling conducted by proporsional random sampling and obtained 99 people divided into eight agricultural extension work areas. The research data is analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistics of Rank Spearman correlation test. The results of the study showed that the role of field agricultural extension workers in the management of integrated crops of paddy fields was in the medium classification; these roles included activities in education, dissemination, facilitation, consultation, supervision, monitoring, and evaluation. Adoption of integrated plant management based on the use of quality seeds and planting systems, irrigation, fertilization, control of plant pests, handling of harvests to post-harvest were in the medium classification. The role of field agricultural extension workers was significantly correlated with the adoption of integrated crop management, while adoption of integrated crop management was related to the productivity of lowland rice.Key words : adoption, agricultural extension workers, integrated crop management, paddy, roles

The objectives of this research are to know the participation of farmers in PUAP program, factors related to farmers’ participation in PUAP program, and farmers’ income. This research was conducted in Bandung Baru Village of Adiluwih District, Pringsewu Regency. The sampling used was proportional random sampling with total of 81 farmers. The research was conducted in October - December 2016. The research method is a survey. The relationship between the variables was tested using Rank Spearman correlation test. The results showed that farmers' participation in the PUAP program was quite active, factors related to farmers’ participation were age, education level, length of farming experience, and cultivated land area. Average household income of farmers in Bandung Baru Village Adiluwih District Pringsewu Regency each year is Rp67.633.851. Key words: income, participation, PUAP program

The aims of this studyare to analyzejob satisfaction, working motivation, and performance of rubber tappers andthe influence of job satisfaction and working motivation on the performance of rubber tappers.The research location was chosen purposively in PT Perkebunan Nusantara VII Way Berulu, Kebagusan Village, Gedongtataan Sub-District, Pesawaran District. Respondents were all 80 rubber tappers of PT Perkebunan Nusantara VII Way Berulu. Data were analyzed descriptively and using multiple linear regression. The results showed that job satisfaction of rubber tappers of Afdelling I and II PTPerkebunan Nusantara VII Way Berulu was in category of most satisfied, working motivation was in a good category, and the performance met the expectation. Job satisfaction and working motivation influenced the performance of rubber tappers in PT Perkebunan Nusantara VII Way Berulu.Key words: job satisfaction, performance, working motivation
