The need for clean water in big cities is very dependent on water supply by water companies (PDAM). The increasing demand for clean water in big cities is proportional to the increasing of number population and industry, but not comparable to the clean water supply and quality of raw water available. PDAM has made various efforts to improve the quality of clean water services to the community. One of the effort is to improve the performance of water treatment plant (WTP). To support the improvement of the performance of WTP, required water quality monitoring at the intake location in use. This paper discusses the online and realtime water quality monitoring at the water intake location using a multi-probe digital sensor and GSM technology. Ciliwung and Cisadane are two main river from one of the priorities water shed set by the Indonesian government. This determination is based on one of which was the need for water resource management in Ciliwung-Casadane is already getting damaged. Ministry of Environment and Forests (KLHK) makes Ciliwung-Cisadane one of the targets of pollution control through the application of online monitoring technology for quality water. This online monitoring technology is required to obtain a continuous monitoring data to prove the pollution by industries in this watershed area. The system applied is an online and realtime water quality monitoring system based on GSM technology. In this paper will discuss the installation process, the monitoring results, and the obstacles encountered. Keywords: Priorities watershed, Ciliwung-Casadane Watershed, online monitoring technology, online and realtime data.

Fast growing development at big cities such as Jakarta usually cause surface hydrology problems, which is indicated by many surface detention and local floods during rainy season. These problems were raised because of the increasing of runoff coefficient of sub catchment areas and limited capacity of existing drainages. Analysis have made on drainage capacity of sub catchment areas connected to peak flow cause by rain on certain recurrence period and result in data to evaluate drainage capacity to solve these water detention and local floods problems. Katakunci : Genangan, Banjir, Drainase, DAS, Database.

Clean water needs and wastewater treatment will be a serious problem for industry especially for food industries. The packet information of applicable technology for water treatment and industrial waste handling that can support any development sector nowadays is needed by any kind of society especially for small and medium enterprise players. To face on globalisation, the computer and information technology will be used as an important tools for distributing the packet of technology from R&D community to any kind of society through global network. By using the existing network infrastructure in the country, the packet information of technology will be distributed electronically specially to help group of small and medium industry. As pilot project, this activity chooses the tahu/tempe industry located in Semanan,JakartaBarat for the industrial centre. Bursts of mud in Sidoarjo has caused changes in environmental quality around the bursts area. Observation in that area indicate there have been changes in air quality and odor caused by mud spurt. In addition, changes in the geological structure of land in the area around the mud spurt, has resulted some water spurt phenomenon that came from the well pump belong to some residensts in that area. This water spurt phenomenon is followed by the change of water quality which was to be used for the needs of daily living, now in some villages in the area around the mud bursts can no longer be used. To find out some parameters of water quality that arises from the some well pumps that produce big water spurt, we need to performed water quality monitoring using multiprobe digital sensors that are able to measure several parameters at once.This paper presents the measurement data of water quality in some well pumps that produce big water spurts with the YSI600R digital sensor. Keywords : Perubahan kualitas lingkungan, semburan lumpur Sidoarjo, pemantuan kualitas air, sumber bubble, sumur pompa, sumur bor, separasi air dan gas, multi probe digital sensor

The study of assessment and implementation of Online Water Quality Monitoring System that has been done by Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology, results a recommendation to develop a water sample system for a certain river conditions. The function of the water sample system is to pump the water from the river to a sensor tank, so that the sensor does not have to be immersed directly into the river. The purpose of this sampling system is to reduce the risks that be faced by the sensor if it is immersed directly into the river. In this research, the water sample system made as a water pumping system.The water pumping system was made from materials that already existed in Indonesian market. The main components of this water pumping system are: centrifugal pump, sensor tank, water tank for the pump, and solenoid valve. The control system for the water pumping system is made from a conventional control consisting of relays and timers and is triggering by the output contact of the data logger. The water pumping systems that have been made in this research is running properly and they have a high reliability. Cleaning a strainers is the only maintenance that is needed for this systems and the frequencies of the maintenance are depend on the water river condition . Keywords: pumping system, conventional control, pump, samples, sampel pumping period

Development activity has been exploiting water resources (SDA) massively. Every year the number of critical watershed along with the increasing environmental degradation. Management of water resources are always either continued effort by the government to reduce the negative impact of environmental pollution. One way is to build an Information System Web-Based Coastal Rivers and can be used to determine the condition of water resources in the basin, so that the status of potential and water quality can be monitored at any time either by the government or the wider community and other civil society organizations . The information system Web-Based Coastal Rivers and can be realized by performing a data management of water resources in the basin structured through the development of Water Resource Database (DBSDA). Rivers and Coastal Information System (SISPA) Web-based was developed to assist the Ministry of Public Works in order to carry out the data management of water resources and coastal rivers in the basin in accordance with the rules established by the existing regulations, particularly the Law 7 Year 2004 on SDA and PP 42 Year 2008 on Management of Natural Resources. Keywords : River and Coastal Information System, Water Resources Information SYstem, River Basin, River Basin Unit, DAS, SWS.

Kapuas River is the largest river on the Borneo island and become the source of water for the people of this island. In Pontianak City, Kapuas River is become the source of raw water for the local water company (PDAM). To maintain product quality, PDAM Pontianak always monitor this river water quality. During the dry season or during high water, raw water quality Kapuas river becomes salty. Meanwhile, during the rainy season brings torrential river water from upstream mud and water turned into peat. To monitor water quality changes in the Kapuas river in the intake location, PDAM Pontianak has installed an online and real time water quality monitoring system using GSM technology. This paper discusses the installation process online water quality monitoring system starting from the preparation, determination of the location until the process of testing the system. Environmental pollution that happened around us in this time have resided in condition of concerning. The environmental quality recovering is not only becoming responsibility of government, but becoming responsibility of all society, especially who was causing the environmental pollution itself. Some metropolitans like Jakarta has domestic waste as dominant waste, which is not dominant hostpital waste also contributes environmental pollution in Jakarta.To decrease the pollution level of wastewater from hospital, the government of Jakarta has published the environmental regulation. The regulation contains how the hospitals in Jakarta should manage and process their wastewater. This article explain about the design and development of database system for managing the data of hospital wastewater quality, so the observation process of wastewater quality from the wastewater treatment plant for the hospital can be monitored easily and known immediately. Katakunci : database kualitas air,  kualitas air limbah rumah sakit, IPAL rumah sakit, sistem manajemen basis data.

Gorontalo as a new province has many natural resources. One of the natural resource at Gorontalo Province that support society live is water resource. Because of the condition of natural, most of people in Gorontalo Province live as farmer and fisherman. On the other side this new province also has been developing many infrastructures and basic tools for irrigation and watering such as water channel, water dam, irrigation network, etc. The recording process of water resource assets that belong to this new province has been done every year by local government through the Gorontalo Province Water Resources Management Department.
