Abstract

This study aims to develop a project-based instructional media in the form of illustrated images that focus on strengthening students' positive character within art education. The background of this study stems from the importance of character education emphasized in the Merdeka Curriculum and the continued lack of positive behaviors observed among students in schools. Weak character traits, such as lack of responsibility, poor collaboration, and low discipline, have been frequently observed among high school students, indicating a gap between curriculum intent and classroom reality. The research employed a 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) with both qualitative and quantitative approaches to ensure a comprehensive evaluation of the media's development and impact. The subjects were 11th-grade students at SMA Negeri 2 Tegal, selected purposively based on preliminary needs analysis. Data collection techniques included observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis was carried out descriptively to present both numeric trends and narrative insight. The results indicate that the illustrated media developed was deemed feasible and effective in supporting art learning and in reinforcing values such as responsibility, cooperation, and discipline. Moreover, the project-based structure of the media enabled students to engage more actively, work collaboratively, and internalize character values through experiential learning. These findings suggest the need for the integration of project-based visual media into teaching strategies to holistically nurture students' character development in various subjects, especially those in the creative and expressive domains.

Abstract

The COVID-19 vaccine is a crucial effort to break the chain of transmission of COVID-19. To achieve optimal, effective, and efficient results in community program implementation, monitoring and evaluation are essential. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the implementation of COVID-19 vaccination in Semarang. So, it was known that service quality perception, service satisfaction, and willingness to recommend vaccination to others. This study is an analytic observational study with a cross-sectional design in 2022. The total number of respondents was 512 people. Data collection was carried out directly by visiting respondents who had received COVID-19 vaccinations at public health centers and vaccination centers. The data obtained is then processed and analyzed with the final model using Binary Logistic Regression. Respondents with basic education (4.67 ± 0.449) and those using the collective registration mechanism (4.51 ± 0.495) showed a positive correlation with perceived service quality. Of the 9 procedural suitability items, 4 received higher satisfaction scores: staff asking about regular medication use (4.41 ± 0.612), confirmed COVID-19 history (4.42 ± 0.598), close contact history (4.42 ± 0.609), and post-vaccination observation for side effects (4.43 ± 0.608), all with p-value < 0.05. Overall, respondents were satisfied with the service quality, with 26.5% willing to recommend vaccination to others. This indicates that the COVID-19 vaccination service is running effectively and appropriately.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis indikator hipertensi di Puskesmas Kajen II, Kabupaten Pekalongan, dan pelaksanaan Program Indonesia Sehat dengan Pendekatan Keluarga (PIS-PK). Program PIS-PK bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas kesehatan masyarakat dengan menerapkan pendekatan berbasis keluarga. Karena hipertensi sangat umum dan berdampak besar pada kesehatan masyarakat, subjek penelitian ini dipilih. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, yang mengumpulkan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PIS-PK telah diterapkan dengan efektif pada indikator hipertensi di Puskesmas Kajen II, tetapi ada beberapa hambatan, seperti kekurangan sumber daya manusia., keterbatasan fasilitas, dan rendahnya tingkat kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya pencegahan dan pengelolaan hipertensi. Rekomendasi yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini meliputi peningkatan pelatihan bagi tenaga kesehatan, penyediaan fasilitas yang memadai, dan intensifikasi program edukasi kesehatan kepada masyarakat. Dengan demikian, diharapkan PIS-PK dapat berjalan lebih optimal dan berkontribusi signifikan dalam menurunkan prevalensi hipertensi di Kabupaten Pekalongan.
