Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze Interpersonal Communication in Creating Sakinah Families. Study of Couples in Early Marriage in Teramang Jaya District, Muko Muko Regency. empathy), support (supportiveness), positiveness (positiveness), equality (equality), the results of this study show Interpersonal Communication in Creating Sakinah Families Study of Early Marriage Couples in Teramang Jaya District, Muko Muko Regency. This can be seen from the way they convey family problems openly. A sense of empathy, husband and wife couples have high empathy for husband and wife seen from the way they understand problems in the family as well as some couples in Early Age Marriage in Teramang Jaya Subdistrict provide support to husband and wife for the problems they are experiencing. Support, husband and wife give each other support in communicating, seen from the couple as communicants receive information and provide suggestions that are supportive of information from the wife. Positive feelings, positive feelings in interpersonal communication for early age couples are still not well established. However, this couple tries to convey information clearly and accommodates suggestions and criticisms from partners positively. Equality, husband and wife as communicators respect all opinions of both regardless of the problems faced, so that there is equality in communicating without prioritizing personal ego.

Abstract

Research purposes will that publish mental health educational content, one of which is the @Studiodjiwa account, is the background for this research. The aim of this research is to analyze the content of mental health educational content on Instagram on the @Studiodjiwa account. Mental health has become an important issue in the modern era, with Instagram a popular social media platform for education. This research uses the Holsti content analysis method, a research technique for making objective inferences and systematic identification of message characteristics answering the questions What, To Whom, How. The research data was obtained from 6 pieces of content published in the November-December 2023 edition which were then determined by describing the recording unit and context unit. This analysis also focuses on the characteristics of educational messages based on mental health characteristics, namely Positive Mental Health, Mental Health Problems, Mental Disorders. The research results show that @Studiodjiwa presents a variety of mental health educational content, including the definition of empathy, personality depending on other people, hobbies, films, emotional intelligence and the causes and strategies for handling various mental health problems. Content is packaged in the form of infographics, images, videos and text that are informative and educational. The selected content dominates with Positive Mental Health characteristics, the messages are aimed at followers of the @Studiodjiwa account or those who see the posts, and the message techniques used are more persuasive.

Abstract

Research purposes to find out how the sandwich generation communicates and how they manage finances among married couples in Bengkulu City. Data collection methods use interviews, observation and documentation. Financial needs are indeed important for everyone, especially for the sandwich generation. This generation has to bear financial burdens which are not only used to support themselves and their children but also with their parents. They need to know how to properly manage the sandwich generation's finances so they can achieve financial independence. The results obtained from this researcher found that the financial management of the sandwich generation can be differentiated based on their work in this research, namely the type of employee, trader, freelancer, to meet the financial needs of the three generations, they work together to manage their finances so that their expenses are balanced and not too heavy and they try as hard as possible. to seek to fulfill their needs in any circumstances by communicating well and openly with each other

Abstract

Personal Branding is described as a process or effort to build a unique, strong and relevant self-image in the minds of other people. This involves identifying and building on our personal strengths, abilities, and uniqueness as characteristics that differentiate us from others. One of the social media that reflects Prabowo's branding as "gemoy" is the tiktok account @Partai Gerindra. This research aims to dig deeper into the process of forming Gemoy Prabowo's Personal Branding, especially related to the 'gemoy' image that is seen in his public interactions and increasing popularity and having a significant impact on Tiktok social media. The type of research method used in this thesis is descriptive qualitative research. The importance of this research lies in an in-depth understanding of the relationship between Personal Branding of political figures and public perception of their political image. The theory used is Peter Montoya's theory where Personal Branding marketing is the process of building and strengthening a person's personal image and reputation in the minds of other people. There are eight processes for forming Personal Branding owned by Peter Montonya, namely: 1. Specialization (The Law of Specialization), 2. Leadership (The Law of Leadership), 3. Personality (The Law of Personality), 4. Difference (The Law of Distinctiveness) , 5. Visibility (The Law of Visibility), 6. Unity (The Law of Unity), 7. Firmness (The Law of Peristence), 8. Good name (The Law of Goodwill).The results of the research and discussion are concluded as follows from the results of research conducted on Gemoy Prabowo's Personal Brandingon the Gerindra Party TikTok account, that this Personal Branding has succeeded in creating a strong and positive image among social media users. Gemoy Prabowo was able to build a unique and attractive personal identity by introducing the Gerindra Party to the public via the TikTok platform.

Abstract

Cultural imitation is a form of adaptation or change in behavior and lifestyle that is reflected in a particular culture. In this context, the experience of imitation of Korean streetwear fashion culture among teenagers is an interesting phenomenon for further research. The concept of “Cultural Imitation” refers to the process by which individuals or groups imitate or adopt cultural aspects of another culture into their own lives. Korean Streetwear fashion carries Korean cultural values ​​that influence the character, values ​​and behavior of teenagers, so it needs to be analyzed in depth. The selection of this problem allows the exploration of psychological and sociological dimensions. From a psychological perspective, the research will highlight the influence of Korean streetwear fashion on teenagers' identity and self-concept. This research aims to determine the experience and impact of imitation of Korean streetwear fashion culture on teenagers in Indonesia. In this way, it is hoped that this research can contribute to an in-depth understanding of the role of media and culture in shaping the character and behavior of teenagers, and can be used as a basis for formulating policies that support the positive development of teenagers in this digital era. This research method is a qualitative descriptive approach chosen because this research aims to provide an in-depth and comprehensive picture of the experience of imitating Korean streetwear fashion culture among teenagers. The results of the research above explain that encouragement from oneself and support from the environment can strengthen and motivate someone to imitate Sashfir's fashion style. When there is more encouragement and support for Sashfir's fashion style that he wants to imitate, the stronger a person's desire to imitate that fashion will become. The source of the directing process itself is encouragement, it could be because he wants to imitate, it could also be that he sees people imitating and becomes interested, and there is also encouragement from the surrounding environment that supports him to imitate because he feels it is suitable to imitate Sashfir's fashion style because they think it suits his personality

Abstract

Film is one of the works of art from mass media that is in great demand by many people, making movies have their own place for many people. Movies also function as a place to convey moral messages, usually in the form of good values that can be used as examples or examples for the audience. In this study, moral messages are depicted in the Indonesian version of the 200 Pounds Beauty movie directed by Ody Harahap in 2023. This research aims to find out what moral messages are contained in the Indonesian version of the 200 Pounds Beauty movie. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research using data collection techniques of observation, documentation, and supporting data from books, articles, and journals. Where data analysis uses Charles Sanders Pierce’s semiotics using the triangle theory of meaning, namely the representamen, object and interpretation. The results of this study indicate that there are seven moral message contents in it, namely First, patience and sincerity are shown by accepting all insults and trials of life gracefully. Second, children's affection for parents is shown in the scene of not leaving parents regardless of their condition. Third, the caring attitude shown in the scene is willing to do anything for someone. Fourth, the meaning of friendship is shown by feeling each other and reminding each other in terms of goodness. Fifth Thinking before acting is that all actions must be taken with consideration not to make people harmed. Sixth love yourself by not listening to others who make us hurt and feel insecure. Seventh honesty shown by revealing to everyone who the real identity is without being covered up again. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the public relations campaign management conducted by the National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) of Bengkulu Province through the Gerakan Ayah Teladan Indonesia (GATI) program in increasing fathers’ awareness of their role in child parenting. This research is motivated by the low involvement of fathers in parenting, which is influenced by patriarchal culture and the perception that childcare is primarily the mother’s responsibility. The study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation with informants selected using purposive sampling, consisting of individuals directly involved in the implementation of the GATI program at BKKBN Bengkulu Province. Data analysis employed the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the public relations campaign management of the GATI program was implemented through four stages based on the theory of Cutlip, Center, and Broom: defining, planning, taking action and communicating, and evaluating. In the defining stage, BKKBN identified the low awareness of fathers’ roles as the main issue. The planning stage involved designing communication strategies, determining campaign targets, and selecting appropriate communication media. The taking action and communicating stage was implemented through socialization activities, parenting education, and the use of social media to disseminate information. Meanwhile, the evaluating stage assessed program achievements, community participation, and behavioral changes among fathers within the family. This study concludes that the public relations campaign management through the GATI program has been implemented systematically and effectively in increasing fathers’ awareness of their role in parenting. This improvement is reflected in the increased involvement of fathers in children’s education, family communication, and attention to children's health and development.

Abstract

This study aims to determine Communication Planning in the moral development of students at SD Fatma Kenanga Foundation Bengkulu. This study uses a qualitative method using descriptive analysis. In this study, Scoot M. Cutlip & Center's communication planning theory is used as an analytical tool. The results of the study that communication planning plays an important role in fostering student’s morals at Fatma Kenanga Foundation Bengkulu as follows: Fact Finding, regarding the findings of student’s problems related to moral development. The problem is that there are still students who are still rude, speak impolite, and are indifferent to their teachers. Planning, the planning program implemented by SD Fatma Kenanga Bengkulu is communication planning using 5 language continuums and the application of children's character pillars. tolerant and peace-loving. Communication Action, in terms of communication action, teachers apply a 5-continuum language learning system in classroom learning. This 5 language continuum is very effectively applied to students at SD Fatma Kenanga Bengkulu. Evaluation, communication planning programs are always evaluated by holding regular meetings with the principals and teachers. For student evaluation, namely with report cards, questionnaires or questionnaires distributed to parents and peers.

Abstract

Film is one of the mass communication media that very effectively conveys communication messages for humans. Boruto: Naruto the Movie is one of the films resulting from the process of visualizing comics (manga) which has become a favorite film in Indonesia. This study aims to describe the meaning of moral messages contained in the anime film Boruto: Naruto the Movie. This research is a qualitative descriptive research with Roland Barthes' Semiotic analysis approach. Data collection in this study used two techniques, namely observation and documentation. The results showed that the meaning of the moral messages contained in the anime film Boruto: Naruto the Movie includes: 1) cooperation, 2) the importance of the process in education, 3) caution in speech, 4) persistence, 5) mother's attention to her child, 6) father's attention to her child, 7) prohibition of cheating, 8) concern, 9) apologizing, 10) self-confidence, 11) mutual understanding, 12) pronouncing in, and 13) firm stance. The meaning of denotation, connotations and myths conveyed by the director and writer make Boruto: Naruto the Movie worth watching for viewers because it contains a moral message that is familiar with our daily lives.

Abstract

Body Shaming is physical violence that has an impact on psychology or mentality that can affect a person's life, both for individuals and groups. The large number of perpetrators who lead to body shaming causes negative impacts on victims, including depression, sadness and shame, and even withdrawal from social interactions. This study aims to determine the phenomenon of body shaming among students at Dehasen Bengkulu University. The type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Based on the research results, researchers analyzed the phenomenon of body shaming among female students at Dehasen University Bengkulu through a critical approach to the theory of objectification of women. In this study the research informants were students at Dehasen University, Bengkulu City, who had shapes in the Body Shaming category, such as fat, tall thin, short fat (bontet), black skin, spotty faces. Through analysis of the data that has been obtained, researchers found that the act of body shaming experienced by the informant was the result of intersection between students, both classmates and close friends. The researcher saw that some informants experienced body shaming and had different impacts, namely creating the habit of monitoring their bodies regularly on themselves, feeling embarrassed, feeling insecure, becoming stressed thinking about this talk and distancing themselves from friends.
