Abstract

Abstract—The cognitive learning approach through visual media is a characteristic of learning for deaf students because these students can receive learning more quickly. However, this method became an obstacle when this process was online conducted because of the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on the explanation, a need for media learning based on interactive media can help students in the studying process. This research focuses on developing learning media using User Center Design (UCD) method to a center for the development system. In this research, we develop a user interface (UI) for deaf students, especially in the Putra Asih inclusive school in the city of Kediri, Indonesia. The evaluation of this research using ISO-9241 shows the effectiveness of using the application obtained 87,15%, effectiveness of the user interface design obtained 80,05%, and user satisfaction obtained 71,18% where all parameters make sense and acceptable based on a response from the users.

Abstract

Background: Low-cost carrier (LCC) is a popular air transportation service as it offers affordable fares. Many airlines have adopted the LCC system because they need to adapt to the changes in the airline industry. The competition is tight. Despite the low cost, consumers demand quality services. Therefore, LCC airlines need to find their competitive edge. Objective: This study aims to determine the best-performing LCC airlines, the criteria, and the sub-criteria to improve the performance. Methods: This study uses two methods from multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM), namely the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) and elimination et choix traduisant la realite (ELECTRE) II. The MCDM is selected for this study because there are four criteria and 21 sub-criteria to evaluate airline performance. The AHP method selects subcriteria that affect airline customer satisfaction. It solves complex problems by establishing a hierarchy. After being assessed by relevant parties, weights or priorities are developed. The results are used to determine the best-performing airline. Meanwhile, the ELECTRE II method ranks the airline’s alternatives. This method is straightforward and widely used in the MCDM. Results: The results indicate that four criteria and 18 sub-criteria affect the performance of LCC airlines in Indonesia. The LCC airline with the best performance is AirAsia, followed by Citilink, Wings Air, and Lion Air. Conclusion: This research integrates the AHP and ELECTRE II methods in evaluating the performance of LCC airlines. This research also provides information about the criteria and sub-criteria to improve airline performance, hence, the customer experience.

Abstract

Abstract: Technology is growing rapidly and has become one of the human needs that must be owned to solve the problems being faced. The development of touchless input devices or hand gesture recognition using a camera is a form of machine learning. Gestures can define as physical movements of the hands, arms, or body as expressive messages, besides that this hand gesture system can explain the contents of commands that have meaning. In this research, a virtual mouse system will be developed using hand gesture recognition based on the hand landmark model for pointing devices. The resulting application can be run on a desktop device using a webcam. The results of the tests carried out to analyze the implementation of the hand landmark model into the system show that the average system accuracy reaches 96% and the speed reaches 0.05 seconds.            Keywords: hand gesture recognition, hand landmark models, machine learning, virtual mouse  Abstract: Teknologi semakin pesat dan sudah menjadi salah satu kebutuhan manusia yang harus dimiliki untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan yang sedang dihadapi. Perkembangan piranti masukan tanpa sentuhan atau hand gesture recognition menggunakan kamera adalah salah satu bentuk dari machine learning. Gestur mampu mendefinisikan sebagai gerakan fisik dari tangan, lengan, maupun badan sebagai pesan yang ekspresif, selain itu sistem gestur tangan ini mampu menjelaskan isi perintah yang memiliki arti. Dalam penelitian ini akan dikembangkan sebuah sistem virtual mouse menggunakan hand gesture recognition berbasis hand landmark model untuk pointing device. Aplikasi yang dihasilkan dapat dijalankan pada perangkat desktop dengan menggunakan webcam. Hasil dari pengujian yang dilakukan untuk menganalisa penerapan hand landmark model kedalam sistem menunjukkan rata-rata akurasi sistem mencapai 96% dan kecepatan mencapai 0.05 second.           Keywords: hand gesture recognition, hand landmark models, machine learning, virtual mouse

Abstract

Traffic accidents are caused by several factors, especially due to driver fatigue. To minimize accidents caused by human negligence, developing a prototype microsleep detection system to trigger an alarm is necessary. This research uses Histogram Oriented Gradient and Support Vector Machine methods to detect objects. The programming language used is Python, using the dataset from the Idlib face landmark as a marker in the face point area, which will then be calculated based on the eye aspect ratio. This system is implemented using video input captured using a webcam in real-time. The output of this system uses a buzzer to alert the driver. In this study, the test results were obtained well, carried out with 2 test scenarios with a distance of 40cm - 100cm and testing light levels of 33 lux to 226 lux. From these results, the accuracy results were obtained at 88% each.

Abstract

In this research, we introduce the combination of two Blockchain methods. Ripple Protocol Consensus Algorithm (RPCA) and Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance (PBFT) are applied to cryptospatial coordinates to support cultural heritage tourism. The PBFT process is still used until the preparation process to ensure a maximum error of 33%, and every node would add a new chain in all nodes, so PBFT has a slower processing speed than other methods. This research cuts the PBFT process. After the preparation process in PBFT, the data was entered into the RPCA node and was calculated using an equation to minimize errors with a maximum limit of 20%. After this process, the was were sent to the commit process to store the data in all connected nodes in the Blockchain network; we call this combination of two methods R-PBFT. Combining the two methods can enhance data processing security and speed because it still uses the PBFT work combined with the speed of RPCA. Furthermore, this method uses a fault tolerance value from the RPCA of 20% to enhance data processing security and speed.

Abstract

AbstractUsaha Kecil Menengah (UKM) merupakan salah satu bidang yang memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam memacu pertumbuhan ekonomi indonesia, Penjualan dan Pemasaran produk melalui dunia maya memiliki banyak keuntungan, yaitu cakupan yang luas, tidak mengenal ruang dan waktu, dapat dilakukan kapan saja dan dimana saja. Oleh karena itu, E-Commerce patut dicoba untuk mengembangkan UKM salah satunya UKM sandal desa wedoro waru sidoarjo. UKM wedoro merupakan salah satu Home Industri yang berlokasi Jln. bridgjen katamso gg Anggrek 2 No.69 wedoro utara waru sidoarjo. Industri ini bergerak di bidang penjualan sandal dengan berbagai macam jenis, Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui agenda dan member dari UKM sandal di desa wedoro sidoarjo. Sampel penelitian ini diambil secara keseluruhan agenda dan member dari UKM sandal di desa wedoro sidoarjo ini dengan menggunakan aplikasi Dolibarr. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui wawancara dari pemilik UKM sandal di desa wedoro waru sidoarjo. Pengolahan datanya diinput menggunakan aplikasi Dolibarr sehingga mengetahui semua agenda dan member dari UKM sandal di Desa Wedoro.

Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini membahas tentang manfaat dari sistem informasi untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dalam pelayanan skripsi di akademik. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. Permasalahan di Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya yaitu masih banyak tahapan yang menggunakan cara manual dalam melayani skripsi mahasiswanya. Salah satu alternatif pemecahan masalah tersebut adalah dengan membangun sebuah sistem informasi yang bisa menangani setiap tahapan pada proses skripsi mulai dari pengajuan judul hingga yudisium. Perancangan sistem menggunakan metode R&D level 3 dan penggunaan aplikasi berbasis web merupakan solusi praktis dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dihadapi, pengabungan bahasa pemrograman PHP dengan Framework Code Igniter dan database MySql digunakan untuk membangun aplikasi. Penggunaan aplikasi yang dibuat dapat mengurangi biaya, waktu dan tenaga. Sehingga dengan adanya sistem informasi ini, dapat membantu dalam pelayanan skripsi mahasiswa menjadi lebih cepat dan efisien. Karena kecepatan dan kenyamanan pelayanan bagi para mahasiswa yang skripsi dapat membantu Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya mewujudkan visi misinya menjadi fakultas yang bertaraf  internasional.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Automated Valuation Model (AVM) berbasis Jaringan Saraf Tiruan (JST) dengan metode backpropagation untuk penilaian nilai pasar rumah. Variable yang digunakan dalam appraisal nilai rumah adalah spesifikasi rumah terdiri dari spesifikasi tanah dan bangunan yang diberi bobot. Data pelatihan dan pengujian digunakan dalam pengembangan model AVM ini. Hasil akhir dari pengujian menggunakan Confusion Matrix menunjukkan tingkat akurasi sebesar 80%.

Abstract

Website Audit Checklist pada PT. XYZ menghadapi permasalahan pada antarmuka pengguna (UI) yang kompleks, sehingga menyulitkan pengguna dalam pengoperasiannya secara efisien. Permasalahan ini menjadi latar belakang penelitian yang bertujuan untuk merancang ulang UI website dengan pendekatan User-Centered Design (UCD), yang mengutamakan pengalaman dan kebutuhan pengguna. Metode penelitian yang digunakan mencakup wawancara, observasi, dan survei untuk memahami kebutuhan pengguna, serta pengujian dengan metode moderated usability testing dan severity rating untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas UI yang telah dirancang ulang. Hasil pengujian memperlihatkan bahwa rata – rata severity rating sebesar 0.47, yang menunjukkan sebagian besar masalah UI tidak berdampak signifikan pada pengguna, sehingga perbaikan dapat ditunda jika waktu yang tersedia terbatas. Dengan demikian, rancangan ulang UI ini berhasil meningkatkan kemudahan dan efisiensi interaksi pengguna, serta diharapkan dapat mendukung pengelolaan Website Audit Checklist di PT. XYZ secara lebih optimal.
