Abstract

Developing Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) is a strategic step to increase and strengthen the basis of economic life for most Indonesian people, primarily through providing employment and diminishing poverty rate. Coffee is one of the world's commodities that brought Indonesia to fame. In the coffee industry, a cup of coffee has been named a cup of Java. this research will be dedicated to developing coffee shops in Ampenan Old Town by comparing the strategy for developing coffee shops in Malang Regency, particularly in the DAU area as one of the coffee shops centers in the city. The analysis technique applied in this research is the descriptive qualitative analysis, which systematically, factually, and accurately describes or illustrates a phenomenon related to the studied phenomenon.The strategy of Malang Regency Government by synergizing all policies from entire official institutions and governmental elements is quite neat and sound, including with East Java Province, effected properly on the policies integration from cross-service. In Malang Regency, researchers found creativity and efforts made by MSMEs in dealing with the Pandemic, from regulating operational hours, opening and closing outlets, making packaging products, in collaborating with OJOL (Public Porter), During the Pandemic, there is no right or perfect strategy to overcome it.

Abstract

Purpose: This community service activity is carried out with the main objective of identifying the potential for developing tourism products in Santong Tourism Village which originates from the economic, social and cultural potential of the community in the context of developing quality and competitive tourism products in Santong Tourism Village. Method: The community service employs (1) field survey to identify current conditions and the need for intervention in the development of tourist village with data collection techniques ranging from direct observation, in-depth interview, to documentation, and (2) workshop which includes short lectures, guided group discussions, demonstrations, and simulations. The data obtained are all primary data obtained directly from Pokdarwis, other tourism actors, as well as Santong’s local community. Result: The 2 (two) main outputs of this community service activity are (1) tour package and culinary product prototypes that integrate various natural potentials and local community wisdom, as well as (2) needs identification for homestay development in Santong Tourism Village. Contribution: Providing new insights and skills to the local community in developing integrated and quality tourism products that can provide broader economic impact the people of Santong Tourism Village.

Abstract

Penelitian yang berjudul: Eksistensi kopi lokal terhadap Permintaan Konsumen Cafe Tradisional dan Cafe Modern di Kota Bandung - Jawa Barat dan Kota Mataram – NTB merupakan penelitian deskriptif kulaitatif tentang kopi lokal yang ada di Kota Bandung dan Kota Mataram. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana eksistensi kopi lokal terhadap permintaan konsumen café tradisional dan café modern dan untuk mengetahui faktor determinan eksistensi kopi lokal sehingga banyak diminati oleh para pecinta kopi (konsumen). Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah, dokumen panduan wawancara dan dokumen angket, Teknik pengumpulan data adalah: Wawancara, observasi, angket, Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dan studi literatur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskrptif kualitatif dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis eksistensi kopi lokal dan faktor determinan dari kopi lokal. Adapun hasil dalam penelitian ini adalah secara keseluruhan, bahwa eksistensi kopi lokal baik di kota bandung-jawa barat dan kota mataram-lombok cukup di minati di tandai dengan banyak nya permintaan kopi lokal dengan variasi minuman dari minuman panas hingga minuman dingin, dan di tandai juga dengan menjamurnya café-café baik di kota hingga di desa. Sedangkan faktor determinan eksistensi kopi lokal adalah variasi rasa yang dihasilkan dari kopi lokal tersebut, cara penyajian serta edukasi kepada konsumen yang dilakukan oleh barista merupakan salah satu faktor yang mendukung eksis nya kopi lokal baik di café tradisional maupun café modern. Dengan ini dapat dismpulkan bahwa eksistensi kopi lokal dan determinan eksistensinya masih sangat dibutuhkan untuk dikembangkan dengan sistem seduh, penyajian dan edukasi kopi terhadap pelanggan/konsumen baik di kota bandung maupun di kota mataram.
