Abstract

This study examines the evolution of ethnomathematics in technology-based learning in Indonesia. The study's background highlights the importance of ethnomathematics in Indonesian education and the role of technology in modern learning. This study aims to analyse the integration of ethnomathematics in learning technology, identify specific patterns in technology adoption and adaptation, and reveal existing gaps in practice and research. The methodology used includes a comprehensive literature review and case descriptions. Cases were selected to provide an in-depth picture of how ethnomathematics manifests in daily activities and cultural practices, and how technology is integrated into the learning process. Key findings include patterns in the introduction and exploration of ethnomathematics through technology, the use of technology to connect mathematical concepts with local cultural contexts, and teachers' and students' adaptation of technology. Identified gaps include the gap between the potential of ethnomathematics and its actual implementation, as well as the gap between the availability of technology and its effective use. The study provides recommendations for the teaching practices of teachers, education policymakers, and technology developers, and identifies areas for further exploration in future research.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools play a strategic role in fostering students’ character and preparing them for economic independence. However, limited exposure to entrepreneurship remains a challenge for many students in responding to contemporary socio-economic demands. This community service activity aims to empower students through a santripreneur education program to enhance learning motivation and promote economic independence at Cendikia Mandiri Islamic Boarding School, Lebak. This program employed a participatory approach involving preparation, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up stages. The activities included entrepreneurship training, motivational sessions, interactive discussions, and mentoring in a developing context-based business idea. Data were collected through observation, student participation records, and reflective evaluation. The results indicate an improvement in students’ learning motivation, as reflected in increased engagement in learning activities and stronger interest in entrepreneurship-related subjects. In addition, several students initiated small-scale business activities, such as food production, services, and cooperative-based enterprises. The program also contributed to enhancing students’ self-confidence, independence, and entrepreneurial awareness. In conclusion, the santripreneur education program serves as an effective approach to integrating character education with entrepreneurial skill development, while supporting the formation of students’ economic independence within the Islamic boarding school context.

Abstract

Educational innovation management in the digital era is a dynamic field of study that integrates educational management, institutional innovation, and digital transformation to transform educational institutions from conventional models to adaptive and competitive ecosystems. This research aims to examine educational innovation management in the digital era through four dimensions: the effectiveness of higher education digital transformation models, the implementation of artificial intelligence in intelligent management systems, digital competency-based curriculum innovation, and the role of specific digital technologies in flexible and responsive learning. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with a rigorous and structured protocol to systematically identify, evaluate, and synthesize scientific evidence to minimize selection bias and produce conclusions that reflect the full range of available empirical evidence. The review of ten articles yielded four main categories: digital transformation of higher education management systems, artificial intelligence and intelligent education management systems, curriculum innovation and student digital competency development, and digital and mobile technology-based learning innovation as strategic instruments. The study concluded that effective digital transformation requires a multidimensional approach with integrated information systems, the integration of artificial intelligence opens up proactive and predictive education governance, technology-based adaptive curriculum innovation produces highly competitive graduates, and the integration of digital technology including mobile creates a more flexible, personalized, and impactful learning experience for the digital generation.
