Abstract

The main problem is experienced by institutionalized youth is a low level of adversity quotient (AQ). The impact is that it is difficult to develop the life skills needed in this century. One treatment that can be given to increase teenagers' adversity quotient is Biblio counseling. This research aims to test the effectiveness of Biblio Counseling in increasing teenagers' Adversity Quotient. This research uses a quantitative approach, specifically Quasi Experimental. The data analysis used was a pretest-posttest control group design. The research population was 100 teenagers at the Harapan Youth Development Social Institution in Padang Panjang. The research sample was 30 people taken randomly. The research instrument uses an adversity response scale with a validity of 0.857 and a reliability of 0.903. Data analysis using independent T-test. The research results show: (1) Biblio counseling is an interesting technique for orphaned teenagers to find solutions to the life problems they are experiencing, and (2) Biblio counseling is effective in increasing the AQ of institutionalized teenagers. It is recommended that social services utilize Biblio Counseling services as treatment in increasing the AQ of orphaned teenagers.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the relationship between logotherapy counseling and zakat. This research uses library research. The data used in this research is secondary data obtained from books, journals and scientific articles. The research results show that logotherapy and zakat counseling have a high level of agreement. The meeting between counseling perspective of logotherapy with zakat can be seen from three aspects, namely aspects goals aspects values and aspects of the process, so the meeting between zakat and logotherapy perspective counseling can help clients to live a more meaningful and useful life

Abstract

Adolescence is a very important period in the process of individual growth and development. Adolescence is ideally filled with fun things, learning about healthy relationships, learning to explore one's abilities, and planning future goals. In fact, nowadays we often see news on television about unhealthy teenage relationships, inappropriate clothing, brawls between students, bullying in schools, disrespect for parents, disrespect for teachers and even drug use and promiscuity which causes pregnant out of wedlock, we also encounter this behavior in the school environment. This behavior can be said to be moral degradation or moral decline in teenagers. The role of a guidance and counseling teacher is very important to prevent or reduce moral degradation by providing one of the services in Guidance Counseling, namely Group Counseling services. This research aims to examine the effectiveness of group counseling services in reducing moral degradation in adolescents, especially students at school. This research uses qualitative research. The conclusion of this research is that guidance and counseling teachers can use group counseling services as an effort to reduce the moral degradation of teenagers, especially students at school.
