Abstract

Teh merupakan minuman olahan tradisional yang popular, dikenal sejak zaman dahulu. Pembuatan bahan baku teh dengan menggunakan kulit buah mangga madu pada proses pembuatan teh dapat meciptakan peluang usaha baru, dan meningkatkan mutu dalam teh. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kadar kandungan flavonoid dan organoleptik berdasarkan aspek warna, tekstur, aroma, dan rasa pada teh kulit mangga madu. Data penelitian ini berupa data kuantitatif tentang kandungan flavonoid dan organoleptik teh kulit mangga madu, data tersebut diperoleh dengan metode observasi dan kuesioner (angket). Data kandungan flavonoid pada teh kulit mangga madu, menggunakan metode sreening fitokimia, dan spektrofotometri dengan menggunakan alat Spektrofotometer UV-Vis yang dilakukan di Unit Layanan Laboratorium RAN Laboratory Ubung Kaja. Data uji organoleptik dianalisis dengan deskriptif presentase. Uji kandungan flavonoid pada teh kulit mangga madu menunjukan kadar flavonoid sebesar 3828 mgQE/100g sampel. Uji organoleptik menunjukan skor yang diperoleh terhadap warna teh 76,7%, kategori suka, tekstur teh 72,5% kategori suka, aroma teh 77,5% kategori suka, dan rasa teh 71,7% kategori suka. Rata-rata hasil uji organoleptik dari 4 komponen menunjukan kategori suka (74,6%).

Abstract

Hama adalah  Organime Pengganggu Tanaman (OPT) yang secara alamiah memiliki musuh alaminya  dan merupakan bagian dari keanekaragaman hayati, saling mempengaruhi menuju keseimbangan. Hama  merusak dan mengganggu tanaman pada bagian akar, batang, daun, bunga, dan buah, misalnya pada tanaman padi.  Kerusakan tersebut menyebabkan tanaman padi tidak dapat tumbuh dengan baik sehingga terjadi penurunan hasil panen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman jenis hama tanaman padi di area persawahan Subak Kedua Desa Peguyangan Kangin Kecamatan Denpasar Utara Kota Denpasar sebagai Sumber Pembelajaran Biologi.  Data dikumpulkan dengan alat kudrat ukuran 1x1 meter, sedangkan pengamatan hama burung dilakukan dengan metode titik pengamatan (point count). Data dianalisis dengan indeks keanekaragaman dari  Shannon-Wiener. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa indeks keanekaragaman (Hi) hama tanaman padi di area persawahan Subak Kedua yaitu 2,574. Berdasarkan  kriteria 1<Hi<3, maka  tergolong keragaman sedang. Hama yang dominan yaitu hama keong mas dengan jumlah 262 (14,88%). Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai sumber pembelajaran biologi pada kelas X SMA/MA pada materi pokok keanekaragaman hayati dan ekosistem.

Abstract

Scientific literacy plays a role as scientific knowledge and skills to be able to identify questions, acquire new knowledge, explain scientific phenomena, and draw conclusions based on facts, understand the characteristics of science, awareness of how science and technology shape the natural, intellectual, and cultural environment, as well as the willingness to be involved and concerned with science-related issues. Science plays an important role in the development of Science and Technology, therefore scientific literacy needs to be introduced from an early age and taught in primary, secondary and higher education so that knowledge, understanding, and science skills are embedded in children, both in the form of critical thinking skills, hard skills as well as soft skills. Scientific literacy is required in various branches of science. Learning Plant Physiology which is one part of the biological sciences, the inclusion of scientific literacy is a necessity, so that the Learning Outcomes of Courses (CPMK) and Graduate Learning Outcomes (CPL) are maximized. Improving scientific literacy in plant physiology learning can be applied through various innovative learning models including: (1) Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model, (2) Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model, (3) Experimental learning model to explore the surrounding environment ( EJAS), (4) Discovery Learning model, (5) Service Learning model, (6) Inquiry learning model. All of these learning models are constructivist, so they can improve critical thinking skills, problem solving skills, higher order thinking skills and the ability to interact socially humanities

Abstract

The times, students and teachers are required to be creative, innovative and know all the information that can be received through ICT-based learning media. The purpose of this service is to overcome the problem of lack of teacher knowledge in the development of information communication and technology (ICT)-based learning media. Activities are carried out in two stages, namely socialization activities, and mentoring. ICT-based learning does not always have advantages but also disadvantages in its application. One of the applications of ICT in learning is the use of learning media that can improve the quality of students' abilities. Multimedia-based learning such as technology that involves text, images, sound and video can present subject matter that is more interesting, not monotonous, and facilitates delivery. Through mentoring activities, the development of ICT-based learning prepared by teachers can improve its quality, so that the learning process is in line with the demands of skills according to the development of the times based on science and technology. The use of the internet in the world of teaching will help the world of teaching increase the quantity of students. The results of PKM socialization and mentoring at SMA Taman Rama Denpasar, resulted in outcomes and achievement targets 1) The preparation of an ICT-based Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) for each subject. 2) certificates for teachers who participate in socialization and mentoring.

Abstract

Higher order thinking skills or Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) are thinking skills that are not just remembering, restating, and also referring without processing, but the ability to think critically, creatively, and be able to solve problems. The objectives of this PKM activity were (1) to understand the principles of making modules based on HOTS questions, (2) to find out the technical steps for making modules based on HOTS questions, (3) to understand the components contained in modules based on HOTS questions. The method used is socialization and mentoring. Material presentation on the principles of making modules based on HOTS questions by the Service Team from UPMI. The participants in this activity were 12 teachers of Public Elementary Schools 1, 2 and 4 of Kaba-Kaba, Kediri sub-district, Tabanan district. The results of this PKM activity are: (1) the trainees understand the principle of making HOTS question-based modules, (2) to understand the technical steps of HOTS question-based modules, (3) understand the components contained in HOTS question-based modules, ( 4) The team from each school produced 1 module based on HOTS questions, and (5) the training participants were very enthusiastic about participating in socialization activities and mentoring in writing HOTS question-based modules and responded positively, so this PKM activity was very useful in relation to improving the quality of teacher competence in learning in school.

Abstract

Scientific work is a published written report that discloses the results of research or studies carried out by a person or team by fulfilling scientific principles and ethics adhered to by the scientific community. Scientific publications are currently experiencing very significant changes, from where the initial format of using print media has changed to electronic media. The purpose of this community service is to improve the ability of teachers to write scientific articles in the field of science at SD Negeri Apuang Bangli. There are 3 main activities in this service, namely the first meeting for training in writing scientific articles by providing examples and critical review of how to write scientific articles. The second activity is by giving assignments to make the core points of writing scientific scientific articles, and the third activity is carrying out mentoring to provide scientific scientific article consultations that are made according to the intended journal template. Based on the evaluation of the implementation of community service activities and the results of the normalized gain test it appears that there has been an increase in the ability to write science scientific articles for elementary school teachers through this community service activity of 0.75 (high category). The conclusion from this community service activity is that there has been an increase in the ability to write scientific scientific articles for teachers of SD Negeri Apuan Bangli.

Abstract

Nature tourism is a form of recreation and tourism activity that utilizes the potential of natural resources, both in their natural state and after cultivation efforts. The aim of this research is to find out how to develop natural tourism objects based on ethnomathematics-oriented local wisdom and to find out the supporters and obstacles in developing natural tourism objects based on ethnomathematics-oriented local wisdom in Apuan village, Susut District, Bangli Regency. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. This type of research is phenomological while the data collection techniques used by researchers are interviews, documentation and observation. The informants in this research were village and community officials. The data sources used are primary and secondary data. The research results showed that the cultural dimensions of local wisdom in the attraction of ethnomathematics-oriented local wisdom-based nature tourism in Apuan village came from local sources, local culture and local knowledge. The supporting facilities available for nature tourism based on local wisdom in Apuan village are complete, such as toilets and parking lots which are still in fairly good condition. However, improvements still need to be made in terms of numbers, such as toilet facilities. Inhibiting Factors (1) Accessibility, there is no public transportation for large cars that go directly to tourist attractions in Apuan Village. 2) Amenities, accommodation, health facilities, banks, automated teller machines (ATMs) are not yet available.

Abstract

Indonesia is a tropical country that has a variety of soil types, types of climate, both macro and micro climates and other environmental factors, causing Indonesia to have a diversity of biological resources arranged in a high diversity of ecosystems, both natural and artificial ecosystems. Agriculture is an artificial ecosystem that functions to support the lives of farmers socio-economically. An agricultural ecosystem that is less stable will result in a decline in agricultural production and a decline in the health of people who consume agricultural products as the main food ingredient. In agricultural cultivation, controlling pests and plant diseases is absolutely necessary to increase agricultural yields. Vegetable pesticides are pesticides whose active ingredients come from plants or plants and other organic materials which are effective in controlling pest attacks and plant diseases. The ingredients for these vegetable pesticides are sourced from various types of existing plants. The active compounds in these botanical pesticides are biodegradable so they are safe for the health of the environment and consumers.

Abstract

Biology is the study of living things, both existing and extinct. Biology learning becomes more contextual when conducted within a school environment. In relation to the immersive learning approach, environment-based learning can increase awareness, meaning, and enjoyment. These three learning principles are implemented through thought, heart, feeling, and exercise. These four efforts are an integral part of education that shapes the whole person (personality or character). The Teaching Assistance Program in the Biology Education study program is crucial for implementing school-based learning within high school (SMA) units. Every essential material in each phase is taught by maximizing the school environment. This article is based on the concept of learning activities carried out for each essential material in phases E and F of high school (SMA) units.

Abstract

The STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) approach significantly enhances literacy and numeracy learning by integrating multiple disciplines to solve real-world problems. This integration fosters critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and deeper contextual understanding of scientific and mathematical concepts. This study aims to develop a STEM-based assessment framework for literacy and numeracy at the senior high school level, guided by indicators from the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA). The research focuses on analyzing the characteristics of STEM-oriented literacy, science, and numeracy items, and constructing an assessment model tailored for schools targeted for PISA-level improvement. A mixed-methods approach was employed, comprising three stages: (1) exploration and analysis of STEM-based PISA item characteristics, (2) development and pilot testing of STEM-based assessment instruments, and (3) design of a comprehensive STEM-based literacy and numeracy assessment concept for broader implementation. The study involved instrument development, initial trials in selected partner schools, and item analysis to evaluate validity and reliability. Findings indicate that the developed instruments have strong potential to identify students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills in alignment with the PISA framework Pendekatan STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam pembelajaran literasi dan numerasi dengan mengintegrasikan berbagai disiplin ilmu untuk menyelesaikan masalah kontekstual dunia nyata. Integrasi ini mendorong pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kritis, pemecahan masalah, serta pemahaman yang lebih mendalam terhadap konsep-konsep sains dan matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan konsep asesmen literasi dan numerasi berbasis STEM di tingkat Sekolah Menengah Atas dengan merujuk pada indikator Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA). Fokus utama penelitian adalah menganalisis karakteristik soal literasi, sains, dan numerasi berbasis STEM serta merancang model asesmen yang relevan untuk sekolah-sekolah yang menjadi target peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran berbasis PISA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode campuran (mixed methods) dengan tahapan: (1) eksplorasi dan analisis karakteristik soal PISA berbasis STEM, (2) penyusunan dan uji coba model soal asesmen berbasis STEM, dan (3) perancangan konsep asesmen untuk implementasi yang lebih luas. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui penyusunan instrumen asesmen, uji coba awal di beberapa sekolah mitra, serta analisis validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa instrumen yang dikembangkan memiliki potensi dalam mengidentifikasi keterampilan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah siswa sesuai dengan kerangka asesmen PISA.
