Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to find out: (1) which one gives better in mathematics learning achievement, learning models of Teams Games Tournament (TGT) with Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach, Teams Games Tournament (TGT) or conventional, (2) which one have better in mathematics learning achievement, students having climbers, campers or quitters of Adversity Quotient,  (3) in each learning model, the level of Adversity Quotient which one hve better mathematics learning achievement, students having climbers, campers or quitters of Adversity Quotient, (4) in each student’s level of Adversity Quotient which one gives better in mathematics learning achievement, learning models of TGT with RME approach, TGT or conventional. This research was a quasi-experimental research with 3 x 3 factorial design. The population of research was all students of Junior High School (SMP) in Grobogan. The samples were chosen by using stratified cluster random sampling. The instruments that were used to collect the data were the documentation of mathematics achievement, questionnaire of Adversity Quotient and test of mathematics achievement. The technique of analyzing the data was two-ways ANOVA with unbalanced cells. The result of research showed as follows: (1) learning model TGT with RME approach provided better learning achievement than TGT and conventional, learning TGT provided better learning achievement than conventional, (2) the students having climbers, campers, and quitters had equally mathematics learning achievement, (3) in each learning model, the students having climbers, campers, and quitters had equally mathematics learning achievement, (4) in each Adversity Quotient, learning model TGT with RME approach provided better learning achievement than TGT and conventional, learning TGT provided better learning achievement than conventional.Keywords: Teams Games Tournament (TGT), Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach, and Adversity Quotient (AQ)

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil perempuan pedagang sayur di tradisional,pola kegiatan ekonomi produktif yang menghasilkan uang, pola kegiatan mengurus rumahtangga, pola kegiatansosial dan keluarga, serta kontribusi penghasilan terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan keluarga. Penelitian dilaksanakandi pasar Gabus Jatinom selama dua bulan dengan menggunakan data primer berasal dari kuesioner terhadap 83pedagang dan wawancara mendalam terhadap 15 pedagang, kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) perempuan pedagang sayur di pasar Gabus Jatinom sebagianbesar berasal dari desa dan kecamatan sekitar; berusia antara 31-60 tahun; berpendidikan rendah; menikahpertama di bawah usia 18 tahun; mempunyai tanggungan keluarga antara 3-6 orang; suaminya bekerja dibidang perdagangan dan pekerja serabutan, (2) rata-rata waktu yang dimanfaatkan untuk kegiatan ekonomiproduktif 9,8 jam per hari; (3) rata-rata waktu yang digunakan untuk mengatur rumah tangga 2,8 jam per hari;(4) rata-rata waktu yang digunakan untuk kegiatan sosial dan keluarga 3,5 jam per hari; (5) rata-rata penghasilanRp 1.221.385,- per bulan dan mampu memberikan kontribusi terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan keluarga sebesar51-70%.Kata Kunci : kegiatan ekonomi, kegiatan domestik, kegiatan sosial, pedagang sayur perempuan

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan mengetahui peningkatan kreativitas pemecahan masalahdan prestasi belajar matematika dengan menggunakan pendekatan RME, dilakukan secara kolaboratif antarapeneliti dan guru mata pelajaran matematika. Subjek penelitian adalah guru mata pelajaran matematika dansiswa kelas X.7 SMA Negeri 1 Pulokulon. Data berupa RPP, foto, observasi, daftar nilai dan hasil tes. Teknikpengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, dokumentasi dan tes prestasi belajar matematika. Uji validasidata melalui observasi terus menerus dan triangulasi sumber. Teknik analisis data melalui reduksi data, analisisdata dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan dengan pendekatan RME meningkatkan kreativitaspemecahan masalah, dapat dilihat indikator keberhasilan meliputi : menemukan fakta, menemukan masalah,menemukan gagasan, menemukan solusi dan mengimplementasikan permasalahan, menunjukkan lebih dari40%. Pembelajaran dengan pendekatan RME juga meningkatkan prestasi belajar matematika, terlihat darisiswa yang tuntas dalam KKM sebelum dilakukan tindakan 12 siswa (31%), setelah dilakukan tindakan yangtuntas menjadi 32 siswa (82%).Kata kunci:realistic mathematics education, kreativitas pemecahan masalah, prestasi belajar matematika

Abstract

The aim of this study was to describe the tenth grade students’ numeracy literacy ability in solving contextual-based story problems at SMK Negeri 4 Klaten in the 2022/2023 academic year. Taking research subjects using purposive sampling technique. The data collection techniques are documentation, tests and interviews. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained: students' numeracy literacy ability in identifying and understanding problems for students in the upper group had very good criteria (100%), students in the middle group had less criteria (50%) and students in the lower group had very poor criteria (0%); students' numeracy literacy ability in understanding and using symbols and numbers for group students with very good criteria (91.7%), middle and lower group students with very good criteria (87.5%); students' numeracy literacy ability in selecting and applying problem solving methods for students in the upper group had very good criteria (87.5%), students in the middle group had good criteria (79.2%), students in the lower group had good criteria (70.8%); as well as the ability of students' numeracy literacy in drawing and explaining the conclusions of the final results obtained from solving problems for students in the top group with very good criteria (91.7%), students in the middle and lower groups with good criteria (66.7%). In solving contextual-based word problems, students made several mistakes due to students' lack of accuracy and thoroughness both in reading the questions, writing answers and the calculation process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk mendapatkan deskripsi profil kemampuan berpikir analitis mahasiswa ketika menyelesaikan soal teori bilangan. Penelitian yang berjenis studi kasus ini mendalami kemampuan berpikir analitis mahasiswa ketika menyelesaikan soal teori bilangan. Penelitian ini mengambil subjek mahasiswa semester 3 yang telah mengikuti perkuliahan teori bilangan pada Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika. Lokasi penelitian adalah Universitas Widya Dharma yang berada di Kabupaten Klaten. Metode tes dan wawancara merupakan metode pengampilan data penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan peneliti sebagai instrumen utama, tes kemampuan berpikir analitis sebagai dan pedoman wawancara sebagai instrumen bantu. Data profil kemampuan berpikir analisis mahasiswa ketika menyelesaikan soal teori bilangan supaya valid dalam penelitian diperoleh melalui teknik triangulasi. Tiga tahap analisis data penelitian ini adalah kondensasi data, dilanjutkan dengan menyajian data, dan yang terakhir menentukan kesimpulan untuk profil kemampuan berpikir analitis mahasiswa ketika menyelesaikan soal teori bilangan (Miles et al., 2014). Penelitian ini mempunyai tiga hasil berikut: (1) dalam mengerjakan soal kekonruenan modulo mahasiswa menulis ulang soal, tidak menuliskan materi yang relevan, tidak menuliskan strategi, dan kurang teliti; (2) dalam megerjakan soal keterbagian, mahasiswa menulis ulang soal, tidak menuliskan materi yang relevan, tidak menuliskan strategi, dan pembuktian salah; (3) dalam mengerjakan soal induksi matematika, mahasiswa menulis ulang soal, tidak menuliskan materi yang relevan, tidak menuliskan strategi, serta kurang teliti dan tidak menulis kesimpulan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manakah model pembelajaran yang menghasilkan prestasi belajar lebih baik antara model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT)denganpendekatanRealistic Mathematics Education (RME) atau model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT). Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Geyer Kabupaten Grobogan. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode dokumentasi dan metode tes. Uji coba instrumen tes prestasi belajar meliputi validitas isi, tingkat kesukaran, daya beda, dan reliabilitas. Uji prasyarat meliputi uji normalitas populasi menggunakan metode Liliefors dan uji homogenitas variansi populasi menggunakan metode Barlett. Setelah melakukan perhitungan, diperoleh simpulan bahwa sampel berasal dari populasi yang berdistribusi normal dan mempunyai variansi yang homogen. Pada kemampuan awal dilakukan uji keseimbangan dengan menggunakan analisis variansi satu jalan. Teknik analisis datamenggunakanuji komparasi antar model pembelajaran dengan uji t. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran TGT denganpendekatan RME memberikanhasil yang lebihbaikdibandingkanmodel pembelajaran TGT. Hal ini berarti model pembelajaran TGT denganpendekatan RME lebih efektif daripada model pembelajaran TGT.

Abstract

This community service was conducted to improve mathematics teachers' skills in using GeoGebra to visualize the volume formula constructions of solid geometry shapes, particularly cubes, cuboids, and pyramids. The service activity was packaged in the form of training conducted online from July 20, 2024, to July 27, 2024, via Zoom Meeting. The results of this workshop showed that participants were able to use the tools available in GeoGebra to create visualizations of the volume formula constructions of solid geometry shapes. This activity had a positive impact on increasing the knowledge and skills of mathematics teachers in utilizing GeoGebra as a learning medium for geometry materials.

Abstract

This study aims to develop the valid, practical, and effective teaching instruments by using Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model with Somatic, Auditory, Visualization, and Intellectually (SAVI) based. This method of this study is RnD (Research and Development) which uses 4 D (Define, Design, Develop, and Development) learning model from Thiagarajan. But, this phase of the study is not spreading the developing result of the teaching instrument yet. This study produces learning instruments such as lesson plan (RPP), learning module, and students’ worksheet (LKS). The result of this study shows that 1) learning instruments by using CPS learning model with SAVI based such as lesson plan, learning module, and student’s worksheet includes in good category based on the expert judgement generally, 2) students and teacher’s response toward the learning by using CPS learning model with SAVI based show that they are interested in learning process, new learning model which is not used before, and they are also interested in the student’s worksheet and learning module, and 3) CPS learning model with SAVI based is effective to use in learning distance in space. From this result of the study, it can be concluded that the developed learning instrument is valid, practical, and effective.Keywords: CPS; Development;Learning Instrument; SAVI.

Abstract

Globalization has not only had a positive impact on tolerance, but also a negative one. The pilot project for the launch of the Pancasila Village is one effort to develop community tolerance. This study has three objectives: (1) to determine the implementation model for the Pancasila Village pilot project in developing community tolerance, (2) to identify the reasons why the launch of the Pancasila Village is appropriate at this time, and (3) to determine the extent of community participation in ensuring the success of Pancasila Village programs. This community service activity was carried out through methods of outreach, training, technology application, mentoring and evaluation, and program sustainability. The study concluded that, first, the implementation model for the Pancasila Village pilot project in developing community tolerance involved both physical and non-physical activities. Physical activities included installing street signs, displaying the national emblem on each house, and naming the Ngemplak Village field as the Pancasila Village Field. Non-physical activities included focus group discussions (FGDs), outreach, outreach, and so on. Second, the rationale for declaring Ngemplak Village a Pancasila Village is appropriate at this time because of the deviant behaviors and inferiority complexes resulting from globalization. Third, community participation in the success of the Pancasila Village, in efforts to develop societal tolerance, is significant and urgent.
