Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the digital skills of students and administrators at Pondok Pesantren Anwarul Quran in creating and managing websites using Google Sites. In today’s digital era, educational institutions, including Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), require an online platform to disseminate information and manage administration more effectively. A well-designed website enables pesantren to promote its educational programs, document activities, and improve communication with a broader audience. The methods used in this program include direct training, practical mentoring, and continuous evaluation. Participants were introduced to the basics of website development using Google Sites, hands-on website creation, and strategies for independently managing and updating content. The results of this program show that students and administrators have acquired fundamental skills in website development and management. Consequently, pesantren can enhance its online presence and strengthen its visibility in the digital world. The success of this initiative demonstrates that similar programs can be implemented in other pesantren to support digital transformation in faith-based education.

Abstract

This article presents a novel approach to understanding the relationship between intellectual intelligence, Adversity Quotient, religiosity, and employee performance in Islamic banks. While previous research has focused on examining the individual impact of these variables on employee performance, this study explores the potential mediating effects of religiosity. The study was conducted on a sample of 141 employees at Islamic banks in Palu City, and the data were analyzed using PLS-SEM. The findings indicate that religiosity mediated the relationship between Adversity Quotient and employee performance, while the relationship between intellectual intelligence and employee performance was not mediated by religiosity. These unique findings highlight the importance for Islamic banks to provide worship facilities and hold Islamic studies to enhance employee religiosity, ultimately leading to improved performance. Overall, this study adds novelty to the literature by offering a fresh perspective on the dynamics of employee performance in the Islamic banking sector.

Abstract

Despite extensive research on the competition between modern and traditional retailers, there is a lack of investigation into specific factors that influence consumer choices and directly impact sales revenue. There is a scarcity of research exploring these issues from the perspective of Islamic business. To address this gap, the study aims to examine consumer preferences in purchasing decision at Traditional and Modern groceries. This study employed a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaire to 100 customers in Palu city, Indonesia. Data analysis involved path analysis and bootstrap biased correlation. The findings highlight the significant impact of product variants, pricing strategies, and promotional efforts by modern retailers on sales revenue in traditional retail stores through purchasing decisions. However, shopping convenience did not exhibit a significant influence, indicating the need for improvement. The competition between traditional and modern retail is primarily driven by shifting consumer behavior and relatively weaker marketing strategies employed by traditional retailers. This study suggests that to maintain their market position, traditional retailers should enhance their marketing strategies by expanding product offerings, setting competitive prices, and executing effective promotional campaigns. Prioritizing the improvement of shopping convenience is crucial to meet customer expectations and preferences.
