Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi pengaruh nutrisi UIRA Agro dan Ratu Biogen terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi selada menggunakan sistem Nutrient Film Technique (NFT). Metode penelitian menggunakan rancangan eksperimental kuantitatif dengan empat perlakuan nutrisi: kontrol (H0), nutrisi Ratu Biogen pada konsentrasi rendah (H1) dan tinggi (H2), serta nutrisi UIRA Agro pada konsentrasi tinggi (H3). Penelitian dilakukan selama empat bulan di laboratorium hidroponik terkontrol, dengan mengukur parameter pertumbuhan meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, bobot basah, bobot kering, dan kandungan klorofil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan H3 memberikan performa pertumbuhan tanaman selada paling optimal, dengan tinggi tanaman rata-rata 31,25 cm, jumlah daun 15,52 helai, bobot basah 147,2 g, dan kandungan klorofil 2,8 mg/g. Analisis statistik menggunakan ANOVA dan uji lanjut Duncan's Multiple Range Test mengonfirmasi perbedaan signifikan antar perlakuan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa nutrisi UIRA Agro pada konsentrasi tinggi memberikan hasil terbaik dalam budidaya selada hidroponik sistem NFT, dengan efisiensi serapan nutrisi mencapai 90%. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam pengembangan teknologi hidroponik modern dan strategi peningkatan produktivitas tanaman sayuran. Abstract

The cultivation of longan in Indonesia holds strong potential due to high consumer demand, favorable environmental conditions, and the availability of varieties well adapted to the local climate. However, pest attacks remain a major constraint, often reducing both the quantity and quality of fruit production. This study aimed to inventory the pest species associated with longan cultivation. The research was conducted through field surveys, with sampling locations determined using a purposive random sampling method. Insect specimens were collected directly by hand and preserved in vials containing 75% alcohol. The specimens were then examined under a microscope and documented. Observed parameters included the diversity index, evenness index, and dominance index, with data analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the primary pest attacks targeted the leaves and flowers of longan plants. A total of eight pest species belonging to two families—Scarabaeidae and Coreidae—were recorded. The pest diversity index (H’) was categorized as moderate (1.8), the evenness index (E) was high (0.9), and the dominance index (C) was low (0.2).
