Abstract

Kebudayaan selalu elastis dan lebih bersifat adaptif, oleh karenanya tidak ada sebahkebudayaan yang mandek kecuali pendukungnya musnah tanpa sisa. Begitu juga musik, selaludan selalu bergerak mengikuti arus pergeseran waktu. Campursari salah satu jawaban akan tidakmandek-nya sebuah kebudayaan khususnya musik tersebut. Musik ini baik dilihat dari segiinstrumentasi maupun musiklitasnya, merupakan musik hasil dari perpaduan beberapa genremusik yang berbeda-beda. Berdasar wujud campursari tersebut nampaknya campursari menarikuntuk dikaji dari sudut pandang Antropologi khususnya pada perubahan kebudayan pada prosesakulturasi. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini mencoba mengkaji campursari berdasar pada sebuahgenre musik yang muncul akibat dari proses akulturasi tersebut.Metode penelitian inimengnakan metode kulitatif, data dikumpulkan dengan teknik wawancara, observasi dandokumentasi. Selanjutnya data dianalisis berdasar analisis kuitatif mengikuti alur Huberman.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa campursari dapat dikategorikan sebuah genre musik yanglahir akibat dari proses akulturasi pada kategori sinkritisme. Di kategorikan demikian karena,campursari merupakan sebuah genre musik yang terbentuk atau dibangun dari perpaduanbeberapa genre msik yang berbeda latar budayanya baik dilihat dari segi fisik atau instrumentasimaupun dari segi musikalitasnya. Selanjutnya dapat di jelaskan bahwa musik-musik yangberakulturasi membentuk campursari tersebut adalah, Langgam Keroncong, Gamelan Jawabeserta ragam garap yang bersifat kedaerahan, jaipongan dan dangdut.Kata kunci: campursari, akulturasi, sinkritisme

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui motivasi yang mendorong para pendukug Kesenian Jaran Kepang Turonggosari memasukan campursari kedalam pertunjukannya serta dampak yang dirasakan oleh para pendukungnya. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif diskriptif. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahawa Motifasi yang mendorong para pendukung kesenian Jaran Kepang Turonggosari, Kecamatan Limbangan, Kabupaten Kendal untuk memadukan atau mengkolaborasikan dengan campursari didorong oleh  rasa tanggung jawab untuk tetap menjaga kesenian warisan nenek moyang tersebut tetap hidup dan digemari masyarakat sehingga tidak ditinggalkan masyarakat. Usaha para pendukung kesenian jaran kepang tersebut diatas masuk dalam kategori kebutuhan penghargaan, motif intrinsik, ekstrinsik, motif sadar, dan sosiogenetis. Masuknya campursari ke dalam pertunukan jaran kepang membawa dampak psikologis dan ekonomi kepada para pendukung jaran kepang  baik penari maupun pengrawit. This research is aimed to find out the motivation that encouraged the participants of Jaran Kepang Turonggosari Performing Arts to blend campursari into the performance as well as the impacts on the participants. The research used descriptive-qualitative method. The research finding shows that the motivation of the participants in blending and collaborating with campursari is encouraged by sense of responsibility to keep preserving ancestral arts and familiarizing the society with the arts. The efforts of the participants are categorized into the need for reward, intrinsic and extrinsic motives, conscious and sociogenetic motives. The blending of campursari into Jaran Kepang performance brings psychological and economic impacts on the participants, either on the dancers or pengrawit (the music players).

Abstract

Aesthetic tastes of a person to an art form are determined by the knowledge and experience that comes from the culture of the community. In this regard, this study aims to determine the aesthetic tastes of coastal communities as reflected in the collaborative packaging of the traditional art of Barong Ngesti Wargo Budoyo. The method used was a qualitative research method with data collection techniques, observation, interviews and documentation, then the data were analyzed based on interactive data analysis which the flow were data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification. The results showed that the collaborative packaging of the traditional art of Barong Ngesti Wargo Budoyo received tremendous appreciation from coastal communities, it was shown that every performance of this art was always full of audiences of all ages. The audience in the show as if there is no distance, the audience can also interact with players. The phenomenon that occurs in collaborative performances of traditional arts, indicates that the collaborative packaging of traditional arts represents the packaging of shows that suits the aesthetic tastes of coastal communities.  Community tastes based on their characteristics can be categorized into popular taste.

Abstract

This study aims at presenting an effective media in a form of puppet picture playing cards as a means to introduce traditional puppet to the society. Research and Development (RD) was chosen as the method to develop the playing cards. Results were presented in a form of the design of puppet picture playing cards as many as 54 cards as well as 54 puppet characters as the background pictures. The design of the playing cards is adjusted to the common playing cards which are distributed widely in the society, including both the sizes and symbols, like the pictures of spade, heart, diamond, and club. In detail, the design comprises: (1) the size of playing cards which is 6 cm width of the upper and lower sides and 9 cm length for the left and right sides. (2) The playing cards’ background is in a bright color so does the puppet picture on the card can be seen clearly.
