The direction of the Qibla is legitimate prerequisite of prayer for all Muslims without exception in carrying out the worship. Thus, it is an obligatory for the communities to be informed about the Qibla direction. Constantly the sun is in the parallel position to the azimuth Qibla of particular areas with the term of ras}d al-qiblah. Finding out the moment is fairly apparent. It is by installing the sun azimuth data application which is eventually used as a benchmark to know the occurrence of ras}d al-qiblah daily. Currently, solar azimuth data applications are frequently found on Google Playstore application. Regarding to this, researchers intended to test the accuracy of the application offered by Google Playstore. Hence, subsequently it will be able to be classified which application with high level of accuracy. By using the comparative analysis method, the researchers tested the azimuth results obtained in mobile phone application by comparing the results of the computer software application and the results of the daily ras}d al-qiblah ephimeris data system. Based on the study results, it was found that the results obtained in computer and mobile phone applications were relatively the same when rounding the values with manual computation of the daily ras}d al-qiblah ephemeris data system. However, it was depicted a single application which was slightly different where the scale was one arc unit degree. The application evaluation is proximately aimed at assisting the society especially university or college students and practitioners in filtering out the precise application which is able to be used as guidelines in determining the daily rasyd al qiblah. This study uses a qualitative research method with empirical legal research located in Pambusuang, Balanipa, Polewali Mandar. It is conducted by using a normative theological and sociological research approach. The primary data sources are several Syarifah women and Habib. The study reveals that the Syarifah women's marriage system is not significantly different from the women's marriage system in general in Pambusuang, namely using the traditional Mandar procession, however, there are few differences are found. First, Syarifah women's marriage tends to focus on nasab (lineage) at the matchmaking process or at the proposal process so that the marriage is arranged, they do not apply several kufu' concepts (compability) in choosing a partner, and some of them even choose not to marry. Second, at the metindor process in Syarifahs' Wedding (arrival of the groom), the groom should attend the syarifahs' place by riding a horse. Third, the groom has to wear white to carry out the Ijab kabul . Regarding the first result, the concept of kafâ`ah for Syarifah women in achieving sakinah mawaddah warahmah marriage cannot be separated from the combination of several kufu’ concepts, such as religion, lineage, work, and wealth. However, in their marriage, the concept of kufu' in terms of lineage and religion is the most important consideration when choosing a partner while the wealth and work aspect are tend to be ignored nowadays. The implication of the research is that there is an understanding that not only lineage of sayyid descent is a determinant in achieving a life of sakinah mawaddah warahmah for syarifah women in Pambusuang, but it is also necessary to grant rights to Syarifah women to choose their partner outside the lineage of sayyid rather than live unmarried because they are not from the same nasab (lineage).

This research aims to analyze the accuracy of qibla direction measurements conducted by mosque employees in the Limboro District, Polewali Mandar Regency, using the Google Earth application. The research method employed is descriptive field research with sociological, normative Islamic, and astronomical approaches. Data was collected through direct measurements by mosque employees using qibla compass tools combined with smartphone compass applications. Subsequently, the qibla direction of mosques and musala was evaluated using the Google Earth application. The research findings indicate that out of 12 mosques and 1 musala sampled, only 3 mosques have accurate qibla directions consistent with the measurements. Meanwhile, the other 9 mosques and 1 musala show significant deviations in qibla direction. These deviations point toward countries such as Yemen, Nigeria, Tanzania, Kenya, and Egypt, with variations ranging from 2° to 27°. The implications of this research can be used to enhance qibla direction measurement methods to align with Islamic Sharia regulations.

This study aims to evaluate the accuracy level of the Miqat Play Store application, tested in 36 mosques by comparing the results with the geodetic azimuth reference coordinates WGS84. The method used is quantitative observational, with measurements taken three times at each location using the Miqat application on various types of Android smartphones. The results of the analysis show a difference between the geodetic azimuth and Miqat with an absolute error between -0.7278° and 0.6523°, an average error of -0.19295° and a standard deviation of 0.1982°. Bland-Altman analysis showed that the difference between the two methods was within acceptable limits, with an upper limit (ULA) of 0.1956° and a lower limit (LLA) of -0.5815°. The TOST equivalence test showed an average difference of 0.193°, which was smaller than the tolerance of ±0.5°, so the two methods could be considered mathematically equivalent. This study concludes that Miqat is suitable for use as an aid in determining the azimuth of the compass qibla in controlled environmental conditions and with good magnetic sensor calibration.
