Abstract

This study aims to identify, describe and analyze the Poverty Area Mapping of Palembang City. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with explanatory research type, with the number of informants as many as 100 people determined randomly. Data collection techniques in this study were using documentation, observation, questionnaires, interviews, and literature study.The results of the study prove that (1) There has been uneven and inappropriate assistance provided by the Government/Regional Government (Province, Regency/City) in poverty alleviation in Palembang City; (2) Unavailability of up to date data regarding the number of poor people in Palembang City; (3) Poverty Alleviation Programs that are under the regional structure and characteristics of the people of Palembang City, namely programs that are oriented or based on human resource development; (4) The need for a pilot project focused on as a pilot program for poverty alleviation that is oriented to human resource development. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Effect of Policy Implementation, Investment, and Business Executors on the Effectiveness of Tourism Potential Development in Sarolangun Regency, Jambi Province. This research uses a quantitative approach with explanatory research type, with a population of 74,660 people and a sample of 100 people determined by the Slovin formula. Data collection techniques in this study were using documentation, observation, questionnaire, and literature techniques. The results of the study prove that Policy Implementation has an effect of 51.3%, Investment has an effect of 15.5%, Business executors have an effect of 52.6%, Policy Implementation, Investment and Entrepreneurs together have a 52.8% effect on the Effectiveness of Tourism Development. Recommendations from the results of this study are that the implementation of the policy must be supported by a law on tourism and RIPPARDA. Thus, mapping the tourism area which is supported by multi-stakeholder policies and cooperation, will open up large investment opportunities in the tourism sector. Organizational restructuring of the regional tourism office as a business executor from a structural dimension. These three variables must get attention, so they can form quality human resources for the benefit of tourism development in Sarolangun Regency. Abstract

Mewujudkan pembangunan desa yang bertanggung jawab dan berdaya saing dapat dilihat dari pengelolaan keuangan desa. Peningkatan kapasitas aparatur desa dalam pengelolaan keuangan desa menjadi penting untuk dilakukan. Dalam melakukan pengelolaan keuangan desa yang transparan dan akuntabel, perlu dirancang sebuah model akuntansi desa yang sederhana, mudah, jelas sehingga dengan mudah dapat dipahami dan dilaksanakan oleh kepada desa dan aparatur desa. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan di Kota Palembang dengan partisipan dalam pengabdian ini adalah perwakilan aparatur desa dan aparaturnya di Provinsi Sumatera Selatan  yang berjumlah 54 orang. Dalam kegiatan ini, peserta diberikan pengetahuan dan pelatihan mengenai pencatatan transaksi keuangan desa, jurnal, posting ke rekening besar, neraca saldo, ayat jurnal penyesuaian, dan penyusunan laporan keuangan desa. Untuk lebih meningkatkan pemahaman peserta, kegiatan ini juga dilengkapi dengan pelatihan yang berkaitan dengan tema pengabdian dan diakhiri dengan sesi tanya jawab. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa peserta menjadi jauh lebih memahami pengelolaan keuangan desa terlihat dari hasil pre-test dan post-test sehingga kedepannya mereka dapat melakukan pengelolaan keuangan desa dengan lebih baik.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the not yet optimal implementation of policies regarding development of the Sungai Bukit Lawang Tourism Destination by the Langkat Regency Tourism Office. This is due to the lack of facilities and infrastructure to support tourism development. This study aims to describe and determine the implementation of policies at the Langkat Regency Tourism Office. As well as to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors of policy implementation at the Langkat Regency Tourism Office. This study analyzes first by analysis (Edwards III, 1980: 1). The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The informants of this study were 7 informants. Data collection techniques using field studies (observations, interviews, and documentation).This can be seen based on the opinion of the informant who stated that there is still a lack of facilities and infrastructure provided directly by the agency. There are perceived obstacles such as budget constraints, difficulty applying tasks according to SOP to the community.

Abstract

The Department of Youth, Sports and Tourism of South Labuhanbatu Regency is 2 (two) different offices, namely the Office of Youth and Sports and the Office of Tourism. In 2002, these two agencies merged to become the Youth, Sports and Tourism Office which is expected to further optimize and synergize in carrying out development in the field of youth sports and tourism objects in South Labuhanbatu Regency. In this case, the Tourism and Culture Office of South Labuhanbatu Regency as the implementer of the regional regulation policy No. 6 of 2019 Chapter VI Concerning Tourism Development Strategies in Simalungun Regency. The theory used in this research is Implementation theory by Edward III, this research uses a qualitative type methodology which using interview techniques, observation, and also documentation. As reinforcement, this study also consisted of key informants, main informants and additional informants using data analysis techniques by Miles and Huberman namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a pivotal role in bolstering the economy, particularly in employment, contributing significantly to the stability of both regional and broader financial systems. This research, employing a qualitative approach involving observation, interviews, and documentation studies, seeks to identify and map potential MSME areas in Palembang City. The study's findings encompass the thorough identification and mapping of these enterprises across each sub-district in Palembang City, elucidating 22 strategic issues such as capital, marketing, infrastructure, licensing, and innovation. Furthermore, the research sheds light on the spatial distribution of MSMEs, categorizing them based on zoning and business type. Notable examples include the culinary business center in Bukit Kecil sub-district, the cracker and kemplang business center in Sukarami sub-district, the songket business center in Ilir Barat II sub-district, and the jumputan business center in Kertapati sub-district. This comprehensive analysis contributes valuable insights into the multifaceted dynamics of MSMEs, offering a foundation for informed policy decisions and strategic planning to enhance economic sustainability.

Abstract

This paper analyzes the quality of Child Identity Card management services at the Karo Regency Population and Civil Registration Office. Referring to the theoretical framework of Zeithaml, Parasuraman, and Berry, this study evaluates five dimensions of service quality: tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. Data was collected through various methods such as observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed qualitatively. Research shows that services in Disdukcapil Karo Regency have reached optimal levels, but there are still shortcomings in several aspects such as the appearance and comfort of employees and speed of service. Supporting factors include quality human resources and innovation, while constraints are mainly related to lack of facilities, infrastructure, and personnel. This research provides valuable insights to improve the effectiveness of services at the institution

Abstract

This article or writing aims to analyze what factors influence leadership towards cooperative development at the Prabumulih City Cooperatives and SMEs Service and to analyze leadership towards cooperative development at the Prabumulih City Cooperatives and SMEs Service, as well. Data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation, while data analysis techniques used interactive analysis techniques. The research results show that leadership in cooperative development at the Prabumulih City Cooperative and SME Department faces various challenges, including low member awareness, lack of participation, difficulty enforcing discipline, lack of entrepreneurial spirit, inadequate regulations, complex bureaucracy, limited access to funds, less effective marketing, and licensing constraints. Strategic steps are needed from local governments, supporting organizations, and cooperative members to support the growth of cooperatives as pillars of a strong local economy. Cooperative development needs to strengthen education and training, focus on management, capital and action research, as well as improve collaboration with external stakeholders to support small food processing businesses in Prabumulih City.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis peran Kepemimpinan dan Kompetensi Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Bagian Perlengkapan Sekretariat Dewan Kota Prabumulih serta mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi Kepemimpinan dan Kompetensi Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Bagian Perlengkapan Sekretariat Dewan Kota Prabumulih. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data antara lain: observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan Analisis menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai di Bagian Perlengkapan Sekretariat Dewan Kota Prabumulih. Dimensi kepemimpinan seperti telling, selling, participating, dan delegating memiliki peran penting, dengan telling membantu pemahaman tugas, selling memerlukan dukungan lebih, participating meningkatkan komitmen tetapi perlu lebih banyak keterlibatan dalam keputusan, dan delegating efektif namun memerlukan perbaikan dalam dukungan. Analisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kepemimpinan dan kompetensi terhadap kinerja pegawai di Bagian Perlengkapan Sekretariat Dewan Kota Prabumulih menunjukkan bahwa kualitas SDM, motivasi, dan kepemimpinan saling terkait dan mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai.

Abstract

This article or writing aims to effectively implement the Palembang Community Online Administration Information System Application (Sidemang) in Oganbaru Village, Kertapati District, Palembang City. The problem focuses on analyzing the level of effectiveness of implementing the Sidemang application in Oganbaru Village, Kertapati District, Palembang City as well as analyzing the supporting and inhibiting factors in using the Sidemang application. Data was collected through interviews, observations and documents related to research and analyzed qualitatively.  This study concludes that the implementation of the Sidemang application in Oganbaru Village, Kertapati District, Palembang City has proven effective in producing more efficient and faster services. People are satisfied with the ease of submitting applications from home without having to come to the office. Village officials were able to adapt well to this technology. However, the continuity of this application depends on strong support from the authorities and the community. Supporting factors include telecommunications infrastructure, availability of funds, and human resources. Challenges such as unstable internet networks and paradigm changes remain obstacles that need to be overcome.
