Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh penerapan metode praktikum berbasis inkuiri pada pelajaran fisika topik getaran dan gelombang untuk  meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas XI SMAN 1 Pringgarata. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Dimana dalam penelitian ini menggunakan 2 siklus yaitu siklus I dan siklus II. Hal yang diteliti pada penelitian ini adalah aspek kognitif, psikomotorik dan afektif. Aspek kognitif diukur menggunakan tes, aspek psikomotorik diukur menggunakan lembar observasi siswa dan aspek afektif diukur menggunakan angket. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh pada aspek kognitif pada siklus I dengan rata-rata 81.71 dan pada siklus II dengan rata-rata 91.25. Sedangkan keterampilan proses sains siswa pada aspek psikomotorik dan apektif siswa pada siklus I dengan rata-rata 77.61 dan siklus II 78.20. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode praktikum berbasis inkuiri pada pelajaran fisika topik getaran dan gelombang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas XI SMAN 1 Pringgarata tahun pelajaran 2018/2019.The purpose of this study was to determine how the application of inquiry-based practicum methods to physics lessons on the topic of vibrations and waves improves learning outcomes and science process skills of class XI students of SMAN 1 Pringgarata. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Where in this study used 2 cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. The things examined in this study were cognitive, psychomotor and affective aspects. Cognitive aspects were measured using tests, psychomotor aspects were measured using student observation sheets and affective aspects were measured using questionnaires. The results obtained on the cognitive aspect in the first cycle with an average of 81.71 and in the second cycle with an average of 91.25. While the science process skills of students in the psychomotor and affective aspects of students in the first cycle with an average of 77.61 and 78.20 in the second cycle. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of inquiry-based practicum methods in physics lessons on the topic of vibrations and waves can improve learning outcomes and science process skills for class XI students of SMAN 1 Pringgarata in the 2018/2019 academic year.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the quality of application of biology magazine as an alternative self-learning resource for 10th year students in MAN 1 Mataram on Virus Material. This is a research and development study using ADDIE model which consist of Analysis, Design, Development and Implementation as well as Evaluation. To assest the quality of Biology Magazine (BioMagz), This was determined by assessment sheets (questionnaire) covering components includes the material/ content feasibility, linguistic and presentation. This Biology Magazine (BioMagz) was applied to 15 students of the 10th year in MAN 1 Mataram. The result showed that there was a significant different in learning outcomes of students whom Biology Magazine (Biomagz) was applied compared to students whom was conventional resoursce applied. This was shown by assessments of content completeness which was excellent with scores 100%, and Media worthiness reached scores 96% which was excellent, while evaluation result of field trials was good with scores 77,5%. This study suggested that Biology Magazine (BioMagz) can be used as an alternative self-learning resource to learn virus material in school.

Abstract

Socio-scientific concerns have emerged as a prominent focus in contemporary chemistry education research. This study aims to analyze the trends used in socio-scientific issues in chemistry learning based on the results of research that has been carried out. This study uses a meta-analysis research design. This meta-analysis uses Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA). Data was acquired from the Scopus and Google Scholar databases utilizing scholarly publications from esteemed worldwide journals with the Scopus Q1-Q3 classification. Conduct an article search utilizing the title and keywords "Socio-Scientific Issues," "Socio-Scientific Issues Approach," or "Socio-Scientific Issues in Chemistry Learning," covering the last decade from 2015 to 2025. The results indicated that the database had a total of 10,982 articles, from which 35 articles were selected for examination. The results of the review found that: a) socio-scientific issues in chemistry learning have a very dominant relevance to case-based learning, namely inquiry (20.57%), PBL (10.29%) and PjBL (5.14%); b) the application of socio-scientific issues in chemistry learning is more dominant towards the aspects of argumentation, problem-solving, critical thinking and creative thinking. Consequently, the tendency in chemistry education on socio-scientific issues underscores case-based learning that prioritizes contextual difficulties.        Keywords: chemistry, learning, socio-scientific issues.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen pemahaman NoS yang dirancang untuk mahasiswa calon guru. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Instrumen yang dikembangkan terdiri dari 85 butir soal, yang diuji kepada 60 mahasiswa calon guru sebagai sampel penelitian. Data hasil pengujian dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 23. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dari 85 butir soal, sebanyak 70 butir dinyatakan valid, sementara 15 butir dinyatakan tidak valid berdasarkan uji validitas. Secara keseluruhan, instrumen ini memiliki reliabilitas yang sangat baik dengan nilai Cronbach's Alpha sebesar 0,910. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa instrumen tersebut layak digunakan untuk mengukur pemahaman NoS mahasiswa calon guru secara valid dan reliabel.

Abstract

Polystyrene (PS) thin film with various concentration of mass (1%, 3%, and 5%) has been deposited onto Quartz Crystal Microbalance (QCM)  surface by a spin coating method. The purpose of this research is the improvement of Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) immobilization into the QCM surface. The QCM resonance frequency has been investigated by means of Impedance Analyzer. The film thickness was calculated by the Sauerbrey equation. The surface roughness of the PS layer was observed by noncontact Topography Measuring System (TMS-1200). Calculation result using a Sauerbrey equation shows the thickness of the PS layer increases with the increasing PS concentration. The QCM/PS with 1% and 5% concentration of mass has rougher morphology and more frequency shifts caused by BSA injection compared to 3% concentration of PS.

Abstract

Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan ekstrak daun kelor terhadap sifat fisik, sifat mekanik dan aktivitas antioksidan film kitosan alginat. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian ekperimen (true eksperimen). Sedangkan pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Desain penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) non faktorial dengan tiga kali pengulangan. Faktor yang diteliti adalah konsentrasi dari ekstrak daun kelor, konsentrasi ekstrak daun kelor (E) yang digunakan meliputi: E1=0,5%, E2=0,75%, E3=1%.  nilai yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan one way anova dengan aplikasi SPSS versi 16. Hasil penelitian pada karakteristik film berbahan dasar kitosan-alginat dengan penambahan ekstrak daun kelor (Moringa oleifera L) dapat disimpulkan bahwa: Perlakuan Penambahan ekstrak pada konsentrasi 0%, 0,50%, 0,75, dan 1% berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap nilai ketebalan film dan aktivitas antioksidan. Semakin tinggi konsentrasi ekstrak yang ditambahkan maka ketebalan dan peresentase aktivitas antioksidan mengalami peningkatan. Sedangkan penambahan ekstrak pada konsentrasi 0%, 0,50%, 0,75, dan 1% tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai kuat tarik, elongasi serta kelarutan film kitosan alginat.   The primary objective of this study was to investigate the impact of adding moringa leaf extract on the physical, mechanical, and antioxidant properties of chitosan-alginate films. The type of research employed in this study is experimental research (true experiment), and the approach used is quantitative. The research design used in this study was a non-factorial completely randomized design (CRD) with three repetitions. The factors studied were the concentrations of Moringa leaf extract, the concentrations of Moringa leaf extract (E) used included: E1=0.5%, E2=0.75%, E3=1%. The values obtained were then analyzed using one-way ANOVA with the application of SPSS version 16. The results of research on the characteristics of films made from chitosan-alginate with the addition of Moringa oleifera L extract can be concluded that: Treatment Addition of the extract at a concentration of 0%, 0.50 %, 0.75%, and 1% had a significant effect on the value of film thickness and antioxidant activity. The higher the concentration of the extract added, the thickness and percentage of antioxidant activity increased. While the addition of the extract at concentrations of 0%, 0.50%, 0.75%, and 1% had no effect on the tensile strength, elongation, and solubility of the chitosan alginate film.

Abstract

This study aims to explore how ecotourism management involving environmental education can increase community awareness and involvement in mangrove conservation. This research design is descriptive qualitative research. The research sample was determined randomly for visitors to Bale Mangrove Ecotourism. The research instrument used questionnaire sheets and interview guidelines with managers, visitors, and the surrounding community as well as observation sheets of ecotourism practices in the area. The research data consisted of responses from structured questionnaires, interviews and qualitative analysis methods, including thematic coding and content analysis, were used to categorize and interpret the responses. The results showed that mangrove ecotourism in Bale Mangrove not only provides economic benefits to the local community, but also acts as an effective educational medium to increase knowledge about the importance of mangrove conservation. With an approach that involves community empowerment and environmental education, it is expected that the management of this ecotourism can provide a sustainable model that benefits both economically and ecologically.

Abstract

Senyiur Village is a village located in Jerowaru District, East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara with a population of 4359 people. Most of the village area is rice fields and plantations so that the main livelihood of the population is in the agricultural and plantation sectors (21.61%). It is known that 32.9% of the population does not have a job. Villagers really want to start a business, but the skills they have are relatively low. The aim of this activity is to provide the youth of Senyiur Village Karang Taruna with skills in making home industry products based on hygiene products such as laundry perfume, softener, dishwashing soap, and so on. This activity was attended by 27 Karang Taruna youth. Supervised by 7 field assistants and carried out in three stages. The first stage is a presentation and discussion session, the second stage is training in making home industry products and the third stage is evaluation activities. The result of this activity is the creation of various home industry products, the growth of participants' interest and skills in making home industry products. The development of the creative economy in Senyiur Village, which is a small village where the majority of the population's livelihood is farmers and livestock breeders, is expected to provide new options for young people to become entrepreneurs. Moreover, in the current digital era, consumers have a tendency to search for and purchase various needs through digital channels such as websites, mobile applications and social media. This will be the main supporting capacity in the future if you are interested in entrepreneurship in the home industry sector. Community-based home industry training in Senyiur Village can foster interest and skills in making a variety of home industry products.
