Abstract

One of the MSMEs in Batam named PT. Batam Flooring System does not have a proper accounting system. PT. Batam Flooring System also does not make its own company reports but relies on the services of a tax consultant. Therefore, the purpose of this community service is to help PT. Batam Flooring System to have financial statement reporting with a good system-based accounting system such as Microsoft Access. The method of data collection is using methods of interview, observation, and documentation. The result of the community’s service is a Microsoft Access accounting system that will be implemented at PT. Batam Flooring System and is expected to be useful and able to assist the recording of PT. Batam Flooring System. There are also recommendations for further community service to provide innovations and solutions that are even more useful and attractive to other MSMEs.

Abstract

Koko Kei Laundry is a business that provides washing services located at Ruko Golden Land Blok K no 6, Batam. Koko Kei Laundry was chosen as a partner in carrying out Community Service (PkM) activities. Koko Kei Laundry has been using a simple recording system so that it cannot produce financial reports that comply with applicable standards. For the problems faced, the best solution in helping owners to produce financial reports is to create an accounting recording system based on Microsoft Access. The method used in data collection is done through interviews and direct observation to partner locations. The result of this service is to produce a computer-based accounting recording system suitable for the Laundry business so that the system can produce financial reports. The resulting financial statements consist of an income statement, a statement of financial position, a general ledger, and a sales report. The recording system created will be able to provide information that can make it easier for business owners when making decisions so that their business can sustain for a long time.

Abstract

Harapan Jaya Workshop is a business engaged in the work and service of lathe welding on heavy equipment, car equipment, PT / factory goods and shipping. Harapan Jaya has been running for twelve years but still has a fairly traditional accounting system. Harapan Jaya Workshops still use a simple recording system that uses a book to record business transactions. Recording using only this book causes ineffectiveness in recording transactions. Things that often occur include reporting errors such as payment recapitulation, errors occur in data recording due to manual data recording. From the problems above aims to assist the owner in running and managing finances. As well as helping the Workshop to design an accounting recording system to make financial reports that are accurate, neat and correct. Interview is a method used to collect the necessary data. The system used in this project is Microsoft Access. The project was carried out for 5 months from august to december. The budget used in this project is 5 million, including costs for transportation, food, internet and others. This system will provide recording forms for cash disbursement transactions, purchases, sales, and inventory recording. The result of this research is to produce complete and accurate financial reports consisting of profit and loss reports, purchases, sales, remaining inventory, and trial balance.

Abstract

Business in Batam, especially Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) often ignore the accounting recording system. Even though they using the system, the system is not applicable in accordance with the Financial Accounting Standard of Micro Small and Medium Entity (SAK-EMKM). By not following the system, many MSMEs do not know exactly the state of the company and only attach to the company’s profit. The company is also will be difficult to make decisions because there are no clear and correct financial statements. As one of the MSMEs in Batam, PT. Mustika Indo Kepri has been running for approximately 10 years, but the managed of accounting system is still done manually. Such recording is less efficient, causing financial reporting to provide less accurate information. Inaccurate reporting can make it difficult to find previous transactions and can also lead to frequent differences between record keeping and physical inventory. The data collection techniques are used start from the process of interviewing, observation and documentation with business owners in the period from September to December 2021. Systems designed using Microsoft Access are able to manage reports such as transaction of cash equivalents, purchase and sales transactions, general journal entry, journal recording adjustment, closing journal entry and inventory recording. So that the processed report will produce a statement of financial position, income statement, statement of change in equity, cash flow statement, and inventory statement

Abstract

Pembelajaran secara daring sudah menjadi operasional utama sekolah di masa pandemi ini. Kesiapan sekolah dalam mempersiapkannya menjadi kunci utama dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan murid sekolah. Namun, persiapan dalam pembelajaran secara daring memerlukan waktu yang cukup lama dan tidak sebanding dengan jumlah tenaga pendidik yang ada di mitra sekolah. Mitra sekolah dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah SMK Kolese Tiara Bangsa berlokasi di Kota Batam. Metode yang digunakan dalam mendapatkan informasi adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Bahan ajar digital berupa modul dan video pembelajaran yang masing-masing terdiri dari teori dan contoh soal mengenai materi pelajaran Harga Pokok Proses yang memenuhi kompetensi materi sekolah. Bahan ajar digital yang disusun telah dapat membantu guru SMK Kolese Tiara Bangsa dalam mewujudkan proses pembelajaran akuntansi secara daring lebih efektif dan efisien. Bahan ajar digital yang telah disusun dapat digunakan secara berkelanjutan agar terus meningkatkan mutu pendidikan sekolah di masa pandemi ini

Abstract

Abstract This activity aims to create an accounting system to help micro-business entrepreneurs on accounting records and financial reports which reflect the business situation. The object of this activity is Toko Asean Motor, which still uses manual records, instead of a system which can lead to human error, and also not having a good financial report. The method that will be applied in this research begin with conducting surveys and interviews at business locations. Next, designing an accounting system according to the needs of the business. Before designing, observations or discussions will be carried out with the person in charge to determine the operational cycle of the business. Next, the implementation stage will be carried out and the last step is for the business party to provide an assessment of whether the system that has been designed is sufficiently helpful or not. This activity results in an accounting system designed in Microsoft Access program so that entrepreneurs can easily do the records such as sales, purchases of inventory, supplies and others operational records and the system can automatically create financial reports such as profit and loss, changes in equity, statements of financial position. This system can also improve business flow to a more efficient and effective business operation and this system can be useful for this business as a basis for decision making.

Abstract

Kebutuhan akan informasi dalam era globalisasi saat ini diperlukan suatu terobosan yang dapat memudahkan perkembangan pengetahuan dan informasi. Tujuan melaksanakan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah membantu Toko Trendy dalam melakukan pencatatan akuntansi dan pelaporannya. Sebelumnya Toko Trendy tidak mempunyai sistem pencatatan yang memadai sehingga tidak bisa menghasilkan laporan yang handal. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data yaitu dengan metode wawancara dan observasi. Sistem pencatatan yang dirancang dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini berbasis Microsoft Access. Sistem ini dirancang sesuai dengan kebutuhan usaha yang dijalankan dan sistem ini dapat menghasilkan laporan keuangan yang handal. Sistem yang telah dirancang selesai akan diimplementasikan ke Toko Trendy dengan demikian Toko Trendy dapat menghasilkan laporan yang akurat. Rekomendasi atas perancangan sistem ini dapat diperbaharui sesuai perkembangan zaman yang terjadi pada masa depan, hal ini dilakukan agar dapat mengambil keputusan secara tepat.

Abstract

Pandemi covid-19 telah menyebar luas di berbagai wilayah termasuk Indonesia. Hal ini sangat mempengaruhi mobilitas lingkungan masyarakat terutama di dunia pendidikan. Seluruh pengaturan aktivitas sekolah diahlihkan ke pembelajaran jarak jauh. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini berawal dari pengamatan problematika sekolah yang mengalami kesukaran pada masa pandemi, diantaranya memberikan edukasi pembelajaran melalui media daring. Maka dari itu kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat mengarah pada lingkungan sekolah. Mata pelajaran Praktikum Akuntansi pada Perusahaan Dagang dan Manufaktur menjadi materi yang direalisasi kegiatan ini. Perwujudan implementasi bahan ajar akan dilaksanakan di SMK Batam Business School. Informasi yang diperoleh melalui metode observasi, wawancara, serta studi literatur. Proses aktualisasi membuahkan hasil yakni pembentukan modul virtual dan video pembelajaran. Persepsi yang baik diperoleh karena kehadiran media pembelajaran tersebut berkontribusi dalam meringankan pekerjaan para guru dan membuat proses pembelajaran yang efisien. Partisipan selanjutnya yang mengambil kegiatan serupa, direkomendasikan membuat bahan ajar yang lebih komprehensif disertakan pemanfaatan media yang mutakhir.

Abstract

HWL Fashion hanya melakukan pencatatan dengan cara yang manual, pengendalian persediaan juga menjadi masalah di online shop tersebut. Sehingga pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk merancang sebuah sistem pencatatan akuntansi sederhana dengan menggunakan Microsoft Access 2013 yang dilakukan dengan mendesain tabel, pembuatan relasi antar tabel, desain query, desain form, dan desain report. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data yaitu dengan wawancara dan observasi. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah sebuah sistem pencatatan akuntansi berbasis komputer yang sesuai bagi HWL Fashion. Sistem ini dirancang agar HWL Fashion dapat melakukan konversi sistem pencatatan akuntansi manual ke pencatatan berbasis komputer sehingga dapat mengurangi terjadinya kesalahan-kesalahan pencatatan yang diakibatkan oleh faktor manusia dan dapat menyediakan informasi data keuangan secara cepat. Perlunya penyempurnaan sistem dengan terhubung ke perangkat lain, sehingga pemilik toko dapat memantau penjualan dari berbeda tempat dan evaluasi sistem secara berkelanjutan diperlukan untuk terciptanya penyempurnaan sistem, agar terhindar dari dampak buruk dari perkebangan zaman.

Abstract

Indonesia has many advanced companies which are the center of interest for foreign investors. These companies generally have a system to process the company's internal data, so it's easier for the company to eliminate fraud and error. Unfortunately, many companies in Indonesia, especially small-scale companies, still need to implement a accounting system using technology that is currently available for free. PT. Nasional Global Karimun is one of those companies that still use Microsoft Excel and records activities through company books. Through this community program, a more optimal and efficient accounting system was designed for PT. Nasional Global Karimun using the Microsoft Access. In collecting related data needed in system design, interviews were carried out with employees and direct observations at partner locations. The condition of the company before and after the implementation of the Microsoft Access-based accounting system is also documented. There are several differences that are perceived after implementing an accounting system using Microsoft Access. Employees find it easier to find unpaid receivables and errors in recording transactions. Financial reports that are formed automatically make it easier for employees because they are more efficient and effective. Although the implementation went smoothly, there is recommendation that can be given for further research, namely adding an online-based system to the accounting system.
