Abstract

Film "Koe no Katachi" menceritakan drama remaja yang mengangkat isu bullying terhadap tuna rungu, sebuah fenomena yang menjadi hal lumrah di masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana audiens memaknai dan mengetahui posisi mereka dalam penerimaan terhadap representasi bullying dalam film "Koe no Katachi." Dalam mencapai tujuan penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis resepsi (reception analysis) model encoding-decoding Stuart Hall. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya klasifikasi informan menjadi tiga posisi, yaitu dominant-hegemonic, negotiated, dan oppositional. Audiens pada posisi dominant-hegemonic memahami pesan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan oleh pembuat film. Audiens pada posisi negotiated memahami dan setuju dengan pesan film, namun terdapat beberapa hal yang tidak sesuai dengan nilai dan minat mereka. Sementara itu, audiens pada posisi oppositional mengerti makna film tetapi memiliki pandangan yang berbeda dalam menafsirkan pesan tersebut. Penerimaan audiens ini dipengaruhi oleh faktor seperti frame of reference dan field of experience, yang mendasari bagaimana mereka memahami dan menafsirkan film.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengupas penggunaan retorika media dalam iklan Scarlett Whitening dengan teori retorika media sebagai kerangka analisis. Fokus penelitian mencakup dua tujuan utama: pertama, mengidentifikasi elemen retorika dalam iklan Scarlett; kedua, mengevaluasi pengaruh retorika media terhadap efektivitas iklan tersebut. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah analisis konten kualitatif terhadap beberapa iklan Scarlett yang dipilih secara purposif. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa iklan Scarlett menggunakan berbagai elemen retorika seperti ethos (kredibilitas), pathos (emosi), dan logos (logika) untuk membangun narasi yang kuat dan meyakinkan, serta elemen retorika lainnya. Selain itu, penggunaan simbol visual dan naratif yang konsisten memperkuat pesan iklan dan meningkatkan daya tarik emosional kepada audiens. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa retorika media memiliki pengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan daya tarik dan persuasi iklan Scarlett, yang berdampak positif terhadap citra merek dan niat beli konsumen. Studi ini berkontribusi pada pemahaman peran retorika media dalam strategi periklanan modern.

Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk melihat dan menganalisis Pengaruh Lingkungan kerja Dan Disiplin kerja Terhadap Produktivitas kerja karyawan. Dimana sampel yang dijadikan responden yaitu sebanyak 100 karyawan PT. Sepuh Energi Alam. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu dengan membagikan kuesioner kepada respoden. Metode penelitian yang di gunakan adalah regresi linier berganda. Dimana hasil penelitiannya lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan pada uji t bahwa nilai prob. lingkungan kerja lebih kecil dari taraf alpha 5%. Dengan demikian menunjukkan bahwa berapapun lingkungan kerja yang di terima oleh karyawan sangat berpengaruh pada produktivitas kerja karyawan di perusahaan khususnya pada PT. Sepuh Energi Alam. Disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan pada uji t bahwa nilai prob. disiplin kerja lebih besar dari taraf alpha 5%. Dengan demikian menunjukkan bahwa berapapun disiplin kerja yang di terima oleh karyawan tidak mempengaruhi produktivitas kerja karyawan Kata Kunci: Lingkungan kerja, Disiplin kerja, Produktivitas kerja karyawan

Abstract

Currently, Instagram has become one of the dominant platforms in digital marketing for building brands, by reaching a wider audience. General trends in marketing on Instagram include the use of creative content strategies, and optimizing the use of hashtags. One example of an Instagram account that is actively doing this is the @jajanserang account. With so many followers, the Instagram account @jajanserang stands out with interesting content and an effective marketing strategy that focuses on information about the culinary industry, food, cafés and tourist attractions in the city of Serang. This account has succeeded in attracting the audience's attention with a combination of tempting videos, interactions being active with followers, using the right hashtags, and intelligent adaptation to Instagram trends and algorithms make this account interesting to research. Apart from that, the aim of this research is to find out the techniques used in digital marketing on the Instagram account @jajanserang such as engagement rate, use of hashtags, and the type of content published are also keywords in the caption so that this account is liked by many people. The research approach applied in this research is qualitative using content analysis techniques by collecting the last 100 posts published by the @jajanserang account in the research period, namely (26/11/23) which were then categorized and analyzed. The results obtained in this research are that the @jajanserang account uses several digital marketing techniques, namely advertising, storytelling, use of hashtags, sales promotions, giveaways, comedy and audio music. Where advertising and sales promotions are the most effective techniques in attracting customers. Then hashtags are a technique that is used very often, while comedy and audio are the least common.

Abstract

Telegram's Anonymouse Chat Bot allows users to exchange messages in chat rooms with purposes ranging from finding new friends, discussion forums or venting to finding a partner. This phenomenon becomes a problem when the anonymous chat feature is used by certain individuals to distribute pornographic content which can disturb other users. This research aims to analyze behavioral patterns based on the motives and objectives of using the Anonymouse Chat Bot Telegram and observe how acts of abuse can occur in this Bot. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive qualitative research characteristics. The results obtained from the research show that the use of Telegram's Anonymouse Chat Bot is used as a medium for establishing, searching for, adding new friends and even as a promotional medium for taking commercial advantage. Researchers see negative behavior from several individuals who distribute pornographic content due to the anonymous policy in this bot so that they are free and not responsible for what they send, whether in the form of chats, photos or videos that contain pornographic elements. Likewise, other users feel disturbed by the presence of these individuals.

Abstract

Positive affirmations are positive statements or sentences expressed to the subconscious mind or in the form of writing to express a goal. Affirmation statements must be positive and in line with what you believe within yourself. Usually, affirmations are done repeatedly so that they are effective. Currently, many Generation Z are implementing positive affirmations into their lives. This phenomenon is very interesting to find out more deeply. This research wants to find out how affirmations are in the lives of Generation Z. The aim of the research is to find out whether positive affirmations can feel love and affection, can form interactions with other individuals, and can also respect yourself. The theory used in this research is the theory of motivation proposed by Abraham Maslow. The paradigm of this research is post-positivism. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive research method where data collection is carried out by interviewing informants who meet the criteria. The results of this research show that each individual has their own way of carrying out positive affirmation activities. Apart from that, positive affirmations can also make someone love themselves more, can make interpersonal communication smoother without obstacles, and can make someone respect themselves more because negative thoughts within themselves are reduced or even erased in the individual's mind.

Abstract

TikTok is an application or social media platform whose growth rate is very fast, currently TikTok users in Indonesia have reached 99.79 million accounts. With a large audience, TikTok is used by online businesses to introduce and market products or services to target markets, one example is the TikTok account @tenuedeattire. The large number of online businesses offering their products or services on the TikTok application has triggered quite tight competition among online businesses in offering their products to consumers. This research aims to analyze marketing communication strategies and what forms of marketing communication strategies are carried out by the TikTok account @tenuedeattire. This research uses qualitative methods by analyzing content in order to explain and understand symbolic messages or messages in various forms and also includes unstructured data. The results of this research state that the marketing communication strategy carried out by the TikTok account @tenuedeattire contains content by using existing features in the TikTok application which aims to build brand awareness, reach a wider target market, increase sales. generate profits at a certain level. This research also produced an explanation of the marketing content concept AIDA (Awereness, Interest, Desire, Action).

Abstract

Many men in Indonesia still think that men are above women. Even after watching the film Barbie, which is anti-patriarchal and has a strong message of gender equality, many men do not agree with the message conveyed by the film. The use of mass media in conveying communication messages is the right thing. The use of mass media such as Netflix, Disney Plus, and HBO makes it easier for readers to receive the messages contained in a film. Many films now raise social issues such as feminism, bullying, cybercrime, economic crisis, patriarchy and many more. This research aims to analyze the existence of patriarchal ideology displayed in scenes in the film Barbie. The theory used by researchers is John Fiske's Semiotics theory, the method used for research is qualitative research methods. Semiotic analysis is used to determine the signs of the patriarchal system displayed in the Barbie film by analyzing the scenes in the film. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis using a qualitative approach. The results of this research reveal that the scenes in the Barbie film contain deep messages such as patriarchy and the feminist movement. The scenes in this film also contain the message that women can be whatever they want without pressure or gender inequality occurring. This film tries to convey the role of women who can be anything with freedom without being haunted by other variables.There are three levels of coding in the Barbie film, such as Reality, Representation and Ideology Levels. The aspects that dominate the Barbie film are aspects of behavior, expression, conflict and patriarchy.

Abstract

With technological developments, there are now many media available that can be used to convey opinions. X (Twitter) is a social media that accommodates freedom of speech or freedom of opinion. Freedom of speech in X, often deviates from what should be understood, especially for K-Pop fans. Many K-Pop fans use X as a way to voice an opinion or criticize something. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, documentation and literature study. The theory used is new media theory with a social integration approach, namely that media use is considered a shared ritual that has become a habit, something that is formal and has greater value. The research results show that the application of freedom of speech on social media X to K-Pop fans has not been implemented well. Because the opinion expressed is not yet complete, it does not lead to opinions conveying hate speech or spreading hoaxes.

Abstract

This research examines the phenomenon of physical and verbal violence in family interpersonal communication. The general objective of this study is to identify the contributing factors to physical and verbal violence within the family context, explore the impacts on victims, and formulate preventive solutions to mitigate such violence. The theoretical framework employed in this research is the social exchange theory, utilized to comprehend how victims and perpetrators of violence within the family evaluate their actions. The theory further aids in understanding the decision-making processes to maintain family relationships and the dynamics of violence patterns and compensations within the family context. The research methodology applied is a case study using a qualitative-descriptive approach, involving one key informant as the dominant victim, one supporting informant as the perpetrator, and two additional informants as witnesses. The research findings indicate that physical and verbal violence in family interpersonal communication emerges due to various factors, including communication barriers and indications of internal conflicts within individuals. The perceived impacts on victims significantly influence their lives, ultimately affecting their responses to these issues.
