Abstract

Abstrak             Singuistik tradisional mengkaji bahasa berdasarkan komponen kebahasan, meliputi fonologi, monofologi, sintaksi, dan semantik. Linguistik modern mengubah paradigma tersebut dengan pandangan baru yang mengkaji bahasa dihubungkan dengan konteks penggunaannya dengan memperhatikan siapa berbicara, untuk tujuan apa, dimana, kapan, dan menggunakan media apa pembicaraan itu. Pendekatan semacam ini disebut pendekatan prakmatik. Untuk meningkatkan pembelanjaan dengan pendekatan pragmatik perlu dirancang silabusnya.

Abstract

Keragaman budaya Indonesia menjadi modal potensial yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran BIPA. Penyusunan bahan ajar BIPA juga seyogyanya memertimbangkan unsur-unsur budaya Indonesia (pengetahuan budaya, sikap budaya, dan produk budaya). Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi unsur kebudayaan Indonesia dan cara penyajian unsur budaya Indonesia dalam buku Sahabatku Indonesia level A1 dan A2 terbitan Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Indonesia tahun 2016. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis kajian teks. Data penelitian yaitu unsur kebudayaan dan cara penyajian unsur budaya Indonesia dan dianalisis dengan triangulasi. Berdasarkan analisis data, semua unsur-unsur budaya menurut Koentjaraningrat (1990) dapat ditemui pada dua objek penelitian ini. Unsur-unsur budaya tersebut yaitu bahasa, sistem teknologi, sistem ekonomi, organisasi sosial, sistem pengetahuan, religi, dan kesenin. Persentase unsur budaya bahasa pada buku A1 0%, A2 8%. Sistem teknologi A1 31%, A2 38%. Sistem ekonomi A1 32%, A2 15%. Organisasi sosial A1 22%, A2 11%. Sistem pengetahuan A1 2%, A2 13%. Religi A1 4%, A2 6%. Kesenian A1 8%, A2 9%. Semua unsur budaya tersebut disajikan secara langsung maupun tidak langsung, baik melalui teks, gambar, maupun tabel. Adanya kandungan unsur budaya dalam bahan ajar BIPA ini dapat membantu mengembangkan literasi budaya mahasiswa BIPA dalam mempelajari bahasa Indonesia. Peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan dapat mengaji bahan ajar BIPA dari aspek lainnya atau mengembangkan bahan ajar suplemen berbasis literasi budaya.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a speaking skills textbook based on the Somatic, Auditory, Visual, and Intellectual (SAVI) model with introduction materials for Surabaya typical foods for Indonesian learners for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) level 2. The development of this textbook is based on the needs of learners who need a contextual and interactive learning approach to improve speaking skills in authentic communicative situations. The research method used is the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. The results of the study show that this textbook is effective and interesting for BIPA learners. The validation of material experts and media experts showed the category of "very decent" with scores of 92% and 90%, respectively. Product trials in small and large groups also showed a significant improvement in learners' speaking skills, based on the results of the pre-test and post-test with an average increase of 35%. This textbook is designed to support learners in getting to know Indonesian culture, especially Surabaya's culinary specialties, through learning activities that involve movement, hearing, visual observation, and intellectual analysis. Thus, this textbook can be one of the innovative and relevant learning media for BIPA learners, as well as contributing to introducing Indonesian local culture to the international world. This study recommends the use of the SAVI model for other learning materials to create a more contextual and meaningful learning experience.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengidentifikasi persepsi siswa terhadap pengintegrasian AI dalam meningkatkan keterampilanmenulis karya ilmiah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Sampel dalam penelitian iniyaitu siswa XI F5 SMA Negeri 1 Mantup. Instumen yang digunakan dalam penngumpulan data yaitu kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif. Temuan penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa 35 siswa kelas XI F5 memiliki persepsi positif dan termasuk dalam kategori baik dengan skor rata-rata sebesar 2,84. Jenis AI yang paling sering digunakan yaitu jenis Chatbot dengan alasan utama untuk mengembangkan dan memperbaiki struktur serta tata bahasa pada saat mengembangkan isi karya ilmiah. Frekuensi penggunaan AI didominasi oleh pilihan “kadang-kadang” yang berarti siswa hanya menggunakan AI pada aspek tertentu dalam penulisan karya ilmiah. Hasil penelitian yang mengindikasikan persepsi positif siswa terhadap pengintegrasian AI, menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan AI dapat mengefektifkan pengembangan keterampilan menulis siswa. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi teks Laporan Hasil Observasi (LHO) dengan pembelajaran berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan diorama. Penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII J SMPN 22 Surabaya sebanyak 32 orang. Data penelitian berupa rata-rata nilai motivasi dan hasil belajar. Pengambilan data menggunakan instrumen angket dan tes awal pembelajaran. Kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan simpulan bahwa pembelajaran PBL berbantuan diorama berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Pada siklus I motivasi siswa meningkat dari 65% menjadi 87% pada siklus II. Selain itu dari hasil belajar siswa siklus II siswa kelas VIII J mencapai ketuntasan belajar lebih dari 85% dengan ketuntasan klasikal 87%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa model PBL berbantuan media diorama efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, baik ditinjau dari motivasi maupun hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

This research is classroom action research which aims to determine the application of Game Based Learning to improve the learning outcomes of Drama Texts for 32 students in class VIII-A at SMP Negeri 22 Surabaya. This is because students' understanding of the material regarding the structure and elements of drama texts is still lacking, so the learning outcomes are still lacking and not yet within the predetermined criteria. The research began with an interview method with subject teachers to determine students' initial understanding, the method used to determine students' initial conceptual understanding. The research was carried out in two stages, namely cycle I and cycle II. Each cycle consists of a process of planning, action, observation and reflection. Test results using the Game Based Learning learning model have increased starting from the pre-test which obtained an average score of 46.8. In cycle I, the average test results obtained by students were 68.75. In cycle II, an average value of 87.5 was obtained

Abstract

Poetry writing learning at the junior high school level often faces various challenges. One of these challenges is the low interest and creativity of students in learning poetry. This phenomenon is caused by conventional learning methods that offer limited interaction. However, along with technological advancement, chatbot-based learning has emerged as an innovative solution to create a more personalized, interactive, and adaptive learning experience tailored to students’ needs. This study aims to analyze the implementation of chatbot-based learning in developing junior high school students’ poetry writing skills as well as to identify its benefits and challenges. The study employed a qualitative approach using a literature review method through a systematic search of scientific articles published within the last ten years on Google Scholar. The collected data were analyzed thematically and deductively to identify patterns of implementation, potential, and obstacles in using chatbots for poetry writing instruction. The findings show that integrating chatbots into poetry writing learning offers various benefits, such as enhancing learning personalization, learner autonomy, engagement, and creativity through rapid feedback and flexible writing practice. In addition, chatbots assist teachers in reducing administrative workloads and focusing more on creative guidance. Overall, this study concludes that chatbot-based learning has great potential to improve the effectiveness and quality of poetry writing instruction at the junior high school level.

Abstract

This study aims to reflect on the suitability of the competencies of graduates of the S-1 Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, Surabaya State University, in 2019-2021 with the demands of the world of work. The reflection is oriented to find gaps between the competencies of graduates and the demands of the world of work in reality so that efforts can be made to improve the curriculum, improve the quality of teachers, and adjust and improve the learning system. This research is descriptive and has a quantitative approach. Data collection was carried out by collecting the results of the alumni tracer study survey in 2019-2021. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics to reveal the dynamics of the suitability of graduate competencies from 2019-2021. This research produces an informative description of alumni employment, the closeness of the field of study to alumni employment, sources of information for finding job vacancies, job selection considerations, and assessment of the effectiveness of learning methods.
