Abstract

Remaja merupakan aset bagi pembangunan kesehatan yang harus disiapkan dengan baik. Perilaku seksual bebas, hamil diluar nikah akibat ketidaktahuan remaja terhadap dampaknya merupakan masalah yang sering terjadi sehingga berrisiko tinggi terhadap kesehatan reproduksi remaja. Salah satu hal yang mempengaruhi perilaku tersebut yaitu adanya perkembangan teknologi informasi yang mudah diakses. Keingintahuan terhadap satu hal yang menjadi salah satu ciri yang terjadi pada fase remaja menjadikan berbagai informasi online mudah didapat, karena hampir setiap remaja memiliki gadgdet. Kondisi ini dapat dijadikan dasar bagi petugas kesehatan sebagai peluang dalam memberikan edukasi tentang kesehatan reproduksi melalui penggunaan aplikasi berbasis android. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengembangkan aplikasi berbasis android yang dapat dibaca pada gadget/smartphone dalam mode offline sehingga dapat dijadikan sebagai media edukasi kesehatan reproduksi remaja. Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi kesehatan reproduksi remaja (KEREPARE) berbasis android. Penelitian dilakukan sesuai 8 tahapan pengembangan dan melibatkan 2 orang ahli media dan ahli materi sebagai konsultan. Langkah yang ditentukan dalam pengembangan aplikasi mengacu kepada beberapa tahapan mulai dari analisis potensi masalah, desain aplikasi, validasi desain oleh ahli media dan ahli materi, uji coba kelompok kecil, revisi produk, uji coba kelompok besar dan revisi final. Hasil validasi oleh ahli media dengan skor 93,3% dan ahli materi menunjukkan skor 82,86% serta hasil uji coba pada kelompok remaja menunjukkan data 82,94%. Ketiga hasil tersebut berada pada kategori sangat layak. Kesimpulan: Hasil uji kelayakan menunjukkan skor > 80% sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi Kesehatan reproduksi remaja berbasis android sangat layak digunakan sebagai media edukasi

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low skill of writing essays for grade 3 students in elementary school. The low writing ability is due to writing learning in elementary schools often not being noticed. The selection of the right model will give students added value to the learning process so as to facilitate learning activities. One model that can be used by teachers in writing activities includes the picture and picture model, which is a learning model that uses series image media, namely images that are interrelated and form a whole story. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The reason for using this method is to find out how to use the learning model in improving the results of learning activities at Nugraha Pelita Elementary School Jl. Field of Bunihayu Jalancagak Sports Subang Regency. The research subjects were class III Nugraha Pelita Elementary School Jl. Field of Bunihayu Jalancagak Sports Subang Regency. Based on the results of the study concluded as follows: 1) The process of learning activities by applying picture and picture to third grade students of SDN Nugraha Pelita, students are very enthusiastic and active in learning no longer feel bored or bored, this is indicated by an increase in essay writing skills to students; 2) Writing essay skills by applying the picture and picture model can increase, this can be proven by the results of the average value obtained by students which in each cycle has increased, starting from the initial data which only has an average value of 57, in the cycle I meeting 1 on average obtained by students is 65, and the first cycle of meeting 2 on average obtained by students is 70. Then in cycle II. meeting 1 the average value obtained by students is 74, and the second cycle of meeting 2 the average value obtained by students is 78. Then in the third cycle of meeting 1 the average value obtained by students is 81 and the second cycle of meetings 2 values averaged the average obtained by students is 85 which is included in criterion A (very good).

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Angka Kematian Ibu dan Bayi tahun masih cukup tinggi. Kematian ibu dan Bayi 62% terjadi di rumah sakit. dapat dianalisis akses masyarakat mencapai fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan rujukan sudah cukup baik. Upaya yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah untuk menurunkan kematian ibu adalah deteksi dini adanya potensi gangguan atau kelainan pada Kesehatan ibu dan bayi, memperkuat upaya promtif dan preventif dan turut memberdayakan masyarakat. Penggunaan Buku KIA merupakan salah satu upaya preventif dan pemberdayaan keluarga dan masyarakat terhadap kepedulian terhadap Kesehatan ibu dan anak. Keberhasilan penggunaan buku Kesehatan Ibu dan Anak (KIA) hanya terjadi bilamana ibu, suami, keluarga dan pengasuh anak aktif membaca, mempelajari dan memahami secara bertahap isi buku Kesehatan Ibu dan Anak (KIA). Tujuan: Pengabdian bertujuan mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan kader tentang pemanfaatan buku KIA sebelum pelatihan dan sesudah pelatihan, dan meningkatkan pengetahuan kader untuk pemanfaatan Buku KIA. Metode: Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan potong lintang, dilakukan mulai Bulan Februari-Agustus 2023. Sasaran dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah Kader Posyandu di Kelurahan Cilembang sebanyak 62 orang. Hasil: Terdapat Buku ISBN dengan judul” Buku Saku Pemanfaatan Buku KIA untuk Kader”, Terdapat pengetahuan kader yang masih kurang terkait informasi dan pemanfaatan yang ada dalam Buku KIA dengan data pengetahuan kurang sebanyak 13 orang (21%), Terdapat perubahan pengetahuan dapat di lihat dari hasil analis pengetahuan setelah pelatihan menjadi baik sebanyak 56 orang (90.3%) Kesimpulan: Terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan pemanfaatan Buku KIA oleh kader.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Motorik halus merupakan aktivitas keterampilan dengan melibatkan gerakan tangan seperti, menggambar, menulis, dan makan yang dipengaruhi oleh stimulasi. Data dinas kesehatan kota Tasikmalaya, Januari 2023 sebanyak 715 kasus balita mengalami gangguan perkembangan pada tahun 2022, dengan kasus tertinggi pada perkembangan motorik halus (31%). Perkembangan motorik halus berkembang secara pesat pada usia 3-6 tahun. Video memberikan 75% pengalaman belajar melalui penglihatan (mata), 13% melalui pendengaran (telinga), sehingga video animasi menjadi pilihan untuk kegiatan melatih kemampuan anak karena bisa diputar kapan saja. Metode : Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and development (R&D). Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling dengan jumlah sebanyak 38 orang termasuk uji skala kecil (8 sampel) dan besar (30 sampel). Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kualitatif. Hasil : Kelayakan dari rancangan media video animasi sebagai stimulasi motorik halus anak usia 3-6 tahun ini telah di validasi Tahap validasi ahli dilakukan pada ahli materi 74% dan ahli media 96% dengan hasil akhir revisi video animasi telah diperbaiki. Tahap uji coba skala kecil 91,75% dan uji coba besar 94,2% dengan hasil akhir sangat layak terhadap media video animasi yang berarti mendapatkan kategori sangat layak sebagai media stimulasi pada anak usia 3-6 tahun. Kesimpulan : Uji coba kelompok besar terhadap kelayakan video animasi ini memperoleh hasil dengan kategori sangat layak. Hasil akhir dengan kategori sangat layak yang berarti video animasi (Stimulasi Motorik Halus Anak Usia Dini 3-6 tahun) ini bisa menjadi media pembelajaran atau melatih kemampuan anak dalam tahap tumbuh kembang motorik halus. Abstract

Latar Belakang: Stunting merupakan bentuk kegagalan pertumbuhan (growth faltering) akibat akumulasi ketidakcukupan nutrisi yang berlangsung lama. Upaya pencegahan stunting dapat dimulai sejak masa remaja, karena merupakan calon orang tua di masa depan. Menyampaikan informasi kepada remaja dibutuhkan teknik yang menarik. Video animasi menjadi pilihan untuk menyampaikan edukasi pada remaja karena dapat diputar kapan saja dan dimana saja. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan Research and Development (R&D). Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive Sampling dengan jumlah 43 orang. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil: Dari penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah media video animasi Jari Centini (Remaja Putri Cegah Stuntiing Sejak Dini) yang berisi tentang edukasi pencegahan stunting pada remaja. Penilaian ahli materi dengan nilai akhir 94%, termasuk kategori sangat layak. Penilaian ahli media dengan nilai akhir 94% terasuk kategori sangat layak. Hasil uji coba kelompok kecil didapat jumlah sebesar 92,5% termasuk kedalam kategori sangat layak. Hasil uji coba kelompok besar didapat hasil sebesar 86% termasuk kedalam kategori sangat layak. Kesimpulan: Dari uji coba kelompok besar terhadap kelayakan video animasi memperoleh hasil ukur sangat layak, artinya video animasi Jari Centini ini bisa dipakai untuk media edukasi pencegahan stunting pada remaja.

Abstract

Stunting has an impact that affects the child's future if prevention is not carried out early. Adolescents are a group that has a large role in producing offspring in the future. Lack of knowledge of adolescents about stunting is a factor causing the high rate of stunting, educational media that can be easily understood by adolescents is animated videos. The purpose of this community service is to increase knowledge about preventing stunting in adolescents. The activities carried out were in the form of education, using CENTINI educational videos, conducting HB, TB, BB level checks on adolescent girls, making a form for filling out a compliance monitoring sheet for consuming FE tablets. The method used was socialization and health education to adolescent girls through videos and explanations of the FE calendar which were distributed to all respondents. The location of the activity was SMPN 9 Kota Tasikmalaya. The stages of the activity include the stages of preparation, implementation and reporting. Data from the results of community service activities showed an increase in the capacity of adolescent girls, showing a change of 22 points in the pre-post test education, HB level checks from 30 people. The adolescent girls who were examined who had anemia were 16 people (53%) and 14 people did not have anemia. All teenagers showed high enthusiasm for this activity and hoped that educational activities on stunting and nutritional status could be carried out sustainably to improve the fitness and health of adolescent girls.

Abstract

Anemia remains a significant health issue among pregnant women in Indonesia, with prevalence rates reaching 50–63%. In addition to iron supplementation, food-based micronutrient interventions such as date fruit and mung bean cookies may help improve hemoglobin levels. However, limited studies have compared the effectiveness of these two food sources. This study aimed to compare the effects of date fruit and mung bean cookies on hemoglobin levels in pregnant women with anemia. A quasi-experimental study with a two-group pre-test-post-test design was conducted at Bojongasih Public Health Center, Tasikmalaya, Indonesia in 2024. A total of 34 pregnant women with anemia were recruited using total sampling and divided into two groups: date fruit (n = 17) and mung bean cookies (n = 17). Hemoglobin levels were measured before and after 14 days of intervention. Paired t-tests were used for statistical analysis. The date group showed a greater mean increase in hemoglobin levels (from 9.906 to 10.871 g/dL; increase of 0.965) compared to the mung bean cookie group (from 9.888 to 10.476 g/dL; increase of 0.588). The difference was statistically significant (p = 0.001). Date fruit was more effective than mung bean cookies in increasing hemoglobin levels among pregnant women with anemia. These findings suggest that date fruit can be considered as a complementary nutritional strategy to support iron supplementation during pregnancy.

particularly in low- and middle-income countries. One contributing factor is the lack of maternal awareness regarding pregnancy danger signs. Although the Mother and Child Health (MCH) handbook has been widely distributed in Indonesia to support maternal education, its utilization remains suboptimal. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of a structured educational intervention using the MCH handbook on improving the knowledge of high-risk pregnant women regarding pregnancy danger signs. This pre-experimental study employed a one-group pretest-posttest design involving 58 high-risk pregnant women at Cibeureum Public Health Center, Tasikmalaya, Indonesia. Participants' knowledge was measured before and after an educational intervention using the MCH handbook. A paired t-test was conducted to analyze the statistical significance of changes in knowledge scores. The normality of the data was confirmed using the Shapiro-Wilk test. The mean knowledge score significantly increased from 19.00 (SD = 3.10) before the intervention to 24.91 (SD = 0.28) after the intervention (mean difference = 5.91, p < 0.001). Prior to the intervention, 74.14% of participants had high knowledge, 17.24% moderate, and 8.62% low. After the intervention, 100% of participants attained high knowledge levels. The findings suggest that structured health education using the MCH handbook is highly effective in enhancing maternal knowledge, especially among high-risk pregnant women. This reinforces the importance of integrating systematic MCH handbook-based education into routine antenatal care. Utilizing the MCH handbook as a structured educational tool significantly improves maternal awareness of pregnancy danger signs. Strengthening health worker capacity to deliver MCH handbook-based education and promoting its use during ANC visits may contribute to earlier risk detection and reduction of maternal mortality.

Abstract

Background: The duration of labor is an important indicator of maternal and infant safety. The success and length of labor is influenced by birthing position. The ESA chair is designed to facilitate an upright position during labor, which, in theory, speeds up the birth process and increases maternal comfort. Objective: to analyze the comparison of the duration of  mothers using ESA chairs and delivery beds at independent midwives in Tasikmalaya city. Method: This study used a quasi-experimental approach with a two-group-posttest-only design, namely interventions in the group of mothers giving birth using ESA chairs and the group of mothers giving birth using delivery beds. The sampling technique used a total of 24 respondents. Data analysis used the Mann-Whitney test. Results: The results of the analysis showed that the duration of labor between the two groups showed that the average duration of labor in the ESA Chair group (34.23) was significantly faster than the average duration of labor in the “Delivery Bed” group (51.45). The results of statistical analysis using the Mann-Whitney test showed a p-value of 0.000. Conclusion: ESA chairs are more effective than delivery beds in shortening the duration of labor in mothers.
