Hypertension is a condition when the blood pressure in the blood vessels increases. The majority of hypertensive patients have non-compliance with their meal plans. If people with hypertension do not follow a hypertension diet, the risk of morbidity, death and complications from other diseases will increase. The best way to follow a hypertension diet is to motivate yourself.This study aims to identify the relationship between self-motivation and dietary adherence in hypertensionMitra Medika Hospital Medan. PThis research is a quantitative research which is an analytic survey with a cross sectional approach. The population used in this study were all hypertensive patients who were in the poly room of Mitra Medika General Hospital Medan, totaling 308 people.The sample in this study amounted to 75 people. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling with the inclusion criteria in this study being hypertensive patients who were outpatient at Mitra Medika Hospital in Medan and willing to be respondents.Data analysis used in this study was univariate and bivariate analysis. Based on the results of the chi-square test, the p-value (0.000 < ? (0.05), this proves that there is a relationship betweenself motivated withdietary compliance in hypertensive patients at Mitra Medika Hospital Medan. This study concluded that there is a relationship betweenself motivated withdietary compliance in hypertensive patients at Mitra Medika General Hospital Medan. Komunikasi merupakan hal yang sangat penting di dalam segala aspek, termasuk salah satu nya pada pelayanan medis. Karena dapat menyebabkan seseorang termotivasi ataupun enggan untuk melakukan suatu kegiatan yang di rasa penting. Bahasa adalah salah satu alat komunikasi manusia untuk berinteraksi dengan yang lainnya. Menggunakan bahasa yang baik dapat membantu orang lain untuk mencapai tujuan dengan semangat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sikap bahasa (language attitude) bidan Erni Naibaho dengan kepatuhan ibu hamil dalam melakukan kunjungan Antenatal Care (ANC) di Klinik BPM Erni Naibaho yang bertempat di kecamatan dwi kora. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan deskriptif kualitatif, yang dilakukan dengan mewawancarai mengapa ibu hamil rajin untuk berkunjung ke Bidan Praktek Mandiri Erni Naibaho. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan phenomena yang terjadi melalui pengumpulan data untuk menngetahui bagaimana “Language Attitude Bidan Erni Pada Ibu Hamil Terhadap Kepatuhan Kunjungan Anc Di BPM Erni Naibaho”. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Bidan Erni Naibaho memiliki sikap bahasa yang positif untuk memotivasi ibu hamil dan ibu hamil sanagt senang dengan pendekatan bidan erni dalam memberikan arahan agar untuk melakukan kunjungan ANC secara rutin karena bidan Erni menjelaskan dengan sikap bahasa yang baik dan lembut. Code-switching, a phenomenon in which speakers alternate between two or more languages within a conversation, has garnered attention in the field of linguistics, particularly in the context of language acquisition. In the English language context, code-switching practices are becoming increasingly common, especially in multilingual communities worldwide. This study aims to investigate the impact of code-switching on the acquisition of English language, focusing on a sociolinguistic perspective. The sociolinguistic approach allows for a better understanding of the social and cultural contexts in which code-switching occurs, as well as its effects on language learning. This research utilizes a qualitative approach by analyzing data from interviews and observations within multilingual communities. Findings indicate that code-switching can influence various aspects of language acquisition, including vocabulary mastery, sentence structure, and pragmatic understanding. Additionally, code-switching practices can enrich language learning experiences by introducing speakers to language variations and different social contexts. This study aims to explore and develop effective English language teaching strategies for pharmacy students through an interdisciplinary approach. In the context of globalization and advancements in health technology, the ability to communicate in English is crucial for pharmacy professionals. The research methodology employed combines both qualitative and quantitative approaches. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, surveys, and observations at several higher education institutions offering pharmacy programs. The findings indicate that integrating pharmacy content with English language teaching can enhance students' understanding of medical terminology and their ability to communicate professionally. Effective strategies include the use of case-based learning materials, clinical simulations, and collaboration with faculties of pharmacy and language. Additionally, the use of digital technology, such as learning apps and online platforms, was found to enrich the students' learning experience. The study concludes that an interdisciplinary approach in teaching English to pharmacy students not only improves language competence but also prepares them for future professional challenges. Effective communication between nurses and patients is crucial in nursing practice, as it can impact patient outcomes and satisfaction. This study explores the role of body language and eye contact in enhancing communication between nurses and patients. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with 30 nurses from various hospitals in Indonesia. The results indicate that appropriate body language, such as open posture and gentle hand gestures, can increase patient comfort and trust. Additionally, consistent and empathetic eye contact is essential in building stronger and deeper nurse-patient relationships. The findings also show that training and awareness of body language and eye contact can enhance nurses' communication skills. This study recommends that nursing training programs include modules on non-verbal communication to improve the effectiveness of nurse-patient interactions. This study explores the dialectical aspects of communication between nurses and patients, focusing on understanding language variations in the context of healthcare. Language variation often plays a crucial role in nurse-patient interactions, influencing understanding, compliance, and the quality of care. Through a critical discourse analysis approach, this study attempts to dissect the dynamics of communication that occur, identifying conflicts and misunderstandings that may arise due to language differences. By understanding these dialectical aspects, it is hoped that more effective and responsive communication strategies can be developed in nursing practice. This community service project explores the application of the role play method in English language learning to encourage creative activities among students at SMK An Naas Binjai in 2021. The primary objective is to assess the effectiveness of role play in enhancing students' engagement and creativity during English lessons. A qualitative research methodology was employed, involving classroom observations, interviews, and analysis of students' performances. The findings indicate that the role play method significantly boosts students' motivation, participation, and creative expression. Additionally, it was observed that role play helps in improving language proficiency and interpersonal skills. Keterampilan berbahasa Inggris yang baik dapat membantu apoteker dalam memberikan pelayanan farmasi yang lebih baik kepada pasien. Namun, masih terdapat perbedaan hasil dalam penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya tentang pengaruh keterampilan berbahasa Inggris terhadap kinerja apoteker dalam memberikan pelayanan farmasi. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti pengaruh keterampilan berbahasa Inggris terhadap kinerja apoteker dalam pelayanan farmasi. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan mengumpulkan data melalui kuesioner yang diberikan kepada apoteker di beberapa apotek di wilayah Medan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik regresi untuk mengetahui hubungan antara keterampilan berbahasa Inggris dan kinerja apoteker dalam memberikan pelayanan farmasi. Hasil Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berbahasa Inggris berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja apoteker dalam memberikan pelayanan farmasi. Hal ini terlihat dari peningkatan kemampuan apoteker dalam memberikan konseling obat dan memberikan informasi yang akurat kepada pasien. Selain itu, apoteker yang memiliki kemampuan berbahasa Inggris yang baik juga lebih mampu dalam mengidentifikasi interaksi obat yang tidak sesuai. Kesimpulan Hasil dari penelitian ini memberikan bukti empiris yang kuat tentang pentingnya keterampilan berbahasa Inggris dalam praktik farmasi di Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, para apoteker di Indonesia perlu meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa Inggris mereka untuk memberikan pelayanan farmasi yang lebih baik kepada pasien. Selain itu, hasil dari penelitian ini juga memberikan masukan bagi institusi pendidikan di Indonesia dalam menentukan metode pengajaran bahasa Inggris yang lebih efektif dan relevan dengan praktik farmasi di Indonesia.
