Abstract

At the beginning of 2020, the whole world was shocked by the COVID-19 outbreak that started in China, Wuhan City. This pandemic has caused thousands of people to be infected with the COVID-19 virus and others have died. In Indonesia, the government has given advice to all levels of Indonesian society to be alert to the Covid-19 pandemic. The Indonesian government has made recommendations for Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB), Lockdown, Social distancing etc. The aim is to raise public awareness which is the main key to breaking the chain of the Covid-19 outbreak. President Joko Widodo said that universities must function as water towers, not ivory towers. This means that all research and innovations produced by universities must be useful for the community. This was conveyed by Jokowi when he inaugurated the Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa (Untirta) Sindang Sari University Campus, Serang City, Banten, Thursday (4/3/2021). "Universities are not located in ivory towers, but must function as water towers where the results of research and innovations produced by the campus must be directly felt by the community.

Abstract

Tindak pidana pemilihan umum berkaitan erat sekali saat memasuki tahun politik, hampir dapat dipastikan bahwa tiada tahun politik tanpa tindak pidana, tindak pidana pemilihan umum merupakan semua tindak pidana yang berkaitan dengan penyelenggaraan pemilihan umum baik yang diatur di dalam maupun di luar Undang-Undang pemilihan umum, Penyidikan tindak pidana pemilihan yang dilakukan oleh sentra penegakan hukum terpadu (sentra Gakkumdu) merupakan suatu langkah yang dianggap efektif untuk menekan terjadinya tindak pidana Tindak pidana pemilihan umum, karena pada prinsipnya sentra gakkumdu adalah wadah bersama antara pengawas pemilu, kepolisian dan kejakasaan untuk melakukan penegakan hukum tindak Tindak pidana pemilihan umum, hakikatnya penegakan hukum tindak pidana pemilihan belum dapat memberikan pengaruh yang besar untuk menekan angka tindak pidana pemilihan, kesimpang siuran didalam hal penafsiran, serta moralitas para penegak hukum yang masih tebang pilih dalam penegakan hukum, dan kesadaran masyarakat akan hukum masih rendah terkait dengan tindak pidana pemilihan umum.

Abstract

Sustainable agricultural development is faced with competition for the use of agricultural land and the preservation of the function of land resources and the environment. Agricultural land conversion is a sectoral issue, a regional issue and a national issue in providing food for the community. The conversion of agricultural land and the need to protect food agricultural land has so far not become a major issue in regional development planning. This research aims to see to what extent farmers who own land play a role in protecting sustainable food agricultural land. This research uses primary data sources, secondary data and tertiary data. Primary data was obtained directly through interviews with sources from the Department/Agency that handles LP2B. The results of the research show that the standard area of ​​rice fields in West Pasaman Regency in 2016 - 2022 saw a reduction in the area of ​​rice fields by 3,948 Ha. This reduction in rice fields is due to the conversion of agricultural land into oil palm plantations, settlements and housing as well as due to damage to irrigation dams and sub-optimal irrigation channels and others. This research also found the supporting capacity for land and food protection in the form of local wisdom in several Nagari-nagari such as in Kinali District, Desa Baru and Kenagarian Talu, this is a form of concern in keeping rice fields eternal, and of course the Regional Government of West Pasaman Regency must be more proactive in encouraging and developing the role of farmers who own land which is based on local wisdom in maintaining and caring for permanent rice fields. eternal community as sustainable agricultural land.
