Abstract

Keluarga menjadi garda terdepan dalam mencegah Covid-19. Demi mendukung keluarga terlindungi dari paparan Covid-19 maka tim pengabdian masyarakat melaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian di ibu-ibu PKK RT 001/RW XIII Kota Baru Driyorejo (KBD) Gresik. Subyek sasaran yaitu ibu-ibu PKK RT 001/RW XIII KBD Gresik karena peran ibu sebagai pelindung keluarga. Pada pengabdian ini melakukan penyuluhan dan pelatihan pengelolaan Tanaman Obat keluarga (TOGA). Bentuk kegiatan penyuluhan berupa edukasi pola hidup sehat dengan memanfaatkan TOGA sebagai obat tradisonal keluarga yang mudah didapatkan. Kemudian untuk budidaya TOGA dilakukan di polybag dengan memanfaatkan lahan yang sempit selanjutnya untuk pengelolaan TOGA dibuat menjadi minuman kunyit asam. Dengan kegiatan ini ibu-ibu PKK RT 001/RW XIII KBD Gresik dapat memanfaatkan TOGA menjadi produk minuman sebagai bentuk kemandirian kesehatan dan ekonomi dimasa pandemi Covid-19. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat, yaitu 1) keberhasilan target jumlah peserta pelatihan, keberhasilan  target  jumlah  peserta pelatihan yang  semula direncanakan sekitar 23 orang dari ibu-ibu PKK RT 001/RW XIII KBD Gresik dalam pelaksanaannya kegiatan pelaksanaan dihadiri oleh 23 peserta. 2) ketercapaian tujuan pelatihan, Pemahaman dan  wawasan peserta pelatihan mengenai budidaya dan pengolahan TOGA semakin meningkat karena materi tersebut belum pernah diperoleh sebelumnya. 3)  kemampuan  peserta pelatihan dalam penguasaan materi. Kemampuan peserta pelatihan dalam penguasaan materi dibuktikan dalam memahami manfaat TOGA dan diimplementasikan dalam pembuatan minuman kunyit asam

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to examine the role of the Bunga Lestari Teacher Activity Center (PKG) Learning Community in enhancing the competency of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) educators in Bungah District, Gresik Regency. It focuses on how the learning community contributes to pedagogic, personal, social, and professional competencies of PAUD educators amidst the implementation of the independent curriculum. Method: A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation among members of the PKG Bunga Lestari community consisting of educators from preschool institutions in Bungah. The study analyzed the forms of competency improvements, the community’s role as a learning platform, and factors supporting or inhibiting its effectiveness.  Results: Findings show that the PKG Bunga Lestari Learning Community effectively facilitates professional development by enabling peer discussion, sharing of best practices, and overcoming challenges related to the independent curriculum. Educators reported improved pedagogical skills and increased confidence in curriculum implementation. The community also helped disseminate government policies related to early childhood education. Novelty: This research contributes novel empirical evidence on the practical impacts of a structured learning community within a rural Indonesian context. It highlights the PKG Bunga Lestari community as a sustainable, collaborative model of strengthens educational policy advocacy and local networking, offering valuable insights for similar educational settings.

Abstract

It is necessary to apply a suitable learning model for early childhood to explore every potential of students. Of course, learning media that are easy to find and local elements must be included so children can recognize themselves and know where they come from. The purpose of this study is to examine the transformation of the learning model into a stage learning model organized by PAUD Sekolah Pelopor Alam, Bandung. The research method uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, indirect observation, and documentation. The data analysis used is Miles and Huberman analysis, while the validity test uses extension of observation, persistence of observation, and triangulation of sources. Research results showed that the implementation of early childhood education by applying the learning center model is less able to bring out the elements of localization in the Rancaekek, Bandung, so the founder switched to using the stage model, which is closer to the daily life of children. The stage model is inspired by the center model, which consists of several sub-sections. If the center model consists of a preparation center, an art center, a natural materials center, a beam center, and a role-play center. Whereas in the application of the stage model, There are eleven sub-sections developed, namely the stage of play, cooking stage, development stage, exploration stage, science stage, cooking stage, kasundaan stage, development stage, imtak stage, gardening stage, and livestock stage.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the role of parents on students' learning motivation. And also describe the learning motivation of students in learning at SKB Gresik. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with the type of field research. The writing method used in this research is a descriptive method that aims to describe the phenomena found in the field, the data collected in this study were collected by means of observation, interviews and documentation, with data analysis using data collection techniques, data reduction, data analysis, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results obtained in this study indicate that. Parents as the highest authority in the family have an important role in the learning process of children, both directly and indirectly. The role of parents is needed by children to encourage and spur motivation in the child's learning process. With attention in the child's learning process in the form of parental involvement.

Abstract

Growth and development itself is an interaction between children with genetic factors and environmental factors (family). The quality of interactions or relationships in the environment around the child, especially those carried out by a child with parents, is very important because parenting plays an important role in monitoring and facilitating children to grow and develop properly, especially in fine motor development. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between parenting patterns and fine motor development at PAUD Permata Hati SPNF SKB Malang City with a sample size of 24 parents of children aged 3-4 years. This study used a correlational quantitative approach. Data were collected using a questionnaire and observation which were analyzed using the Spearman Rank or Spearman Rho test. The results showed that there was an average of parents applying democratic parenting with most children at the level of fine motor development developing very well as many as 14 children (58.3%) with the results of the analysis obtained a value of 0.522 which states that there is a strong and unidirectional relationship between parenting and fine motor development in children aged 3-4 years at PAUD Permata Hati SPNF SKB Malang City.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the influence of the Zoom Meeting Online learning media on the learning motivation and learning outcomes of package B students in social studies subjects at PKBM Homeschooling Kak Seto Surabaya. In the analysis using the SEM SmartPLS 4 For Windows application with 22 samples, a path coefficient value of 0.581 was found for learning motivation and 0.584 for learning outcomes. Data management results show T-Statistics values ??of 3.731 and 4.208 respectively, exceeding the T-Table value with a significance of 0.000. These findings confirm that the use of Zoom Meeting Online has a significant effect on students' learning motivation and learning outcomes. This research provides an important contribution in the context of developing online learning methods, especially in increasing student motivation and learning outcomes in the homeschooling environment. Thus, Zoom Meeting Online is an effective choice in improving the quality of learning in the current digital era, providing the necessary support for alternative educational institutions such as PKBM Homeschooling Kak Seto Surabaya.

Abstract

This research aims to examine and analyze the role of parents in providing sex education for teenagers in Tengger Kandangan Surabaya, the inhibiting and supporting factors. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques include participatory observation, in-depth interviews and documentation with informants. The results of this research show that all parents play their role in providing sex education to teenagers, as evidenced by the way they provide sex education to teenagers by implementing boundaries for both the same and opposite sex and providing an approach that will create openness between the two. One of the supporting factors for parents providing sex education is that communication between them goes well and teenagers care about themselves.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh keluarga terhadap kesiapan belajar peserta didik mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran pada program kesetaraan paket C UPT SKB Gresik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan jumlah populasi 91 peserta didik. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Nonprobability Sampling dengan jenis sampel Sampling Purposive dengan jumlah 32 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner (angket) dan dokumentasi. Dalam analisis menggunakan aplikasi SPSS 27 for windows. Uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas digunakan untuk menguji instrumen. Uji normalitas dan linearitas digunakan untuk mengetahui normalitas dan linearitas data. Uji analisis regresi linier sederhana digunakan untuk mengetahui hipotesis diterima dalam penelitian. Hasil penelitian ditunjukan dengan nilai > yaitu 3,433 > 2,042 pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Sehingga Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak, maknanya terdapat pengaruh keluarga terhadap kesiapan belajar peserta didik mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran program kesetaraan paket C UPT SKB Gresik. Persamaan regresi linier sederhana diperoleh Y = 32,889+0,390X

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the process of implementing information and communication technology (ICT) learning in improving the digital literacy skills of package A students at Homeschooling Pena Surabaya. This research uses a descriptive qualitative type and approach. The data colllection techniques used were in depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The result of this research show that the implementation of ICT learning is applied to package A students through learning planning procedures, learning implementation, and learning evaluation and students can understand icons on microsoft excel, students can search for keywords, students can create microsoft excel assignment output, and students are able to communicate via email and have a positive view of using the digital internet. The supporting factors are the competence of the tutor, the interest of the students, and support of the family environment. Apart from that, the inhibiting factors are signal problems, limited learning time, and differences in technological devices.

Abstract

The readiness of tourism village services through life skills aims to make visiting tourists feel comfortable and minimize the potential for accidents. The special purpose of this research is to describe the methods used by the Lombok Kulon Organic Tourism Village Manager in acquiring life skills. This study uses a qualitative case study type approach. Interviews, observation, and documentation study carry out data collection methods. Data analysis is done repeatedly using data collection, data display, data reduction, and conclusion. The findings of the research on service skills readiness are carried out using 3 (three) methods, namely: (1) independent learning is carried out to deepen existing soft skills and hard skills, (2) bringing in experts is carried out to acquire new soft skills or hard skills, and (3) a comparative study is conducted to acquire soft skills and hard skills simultaneously.
