Abstract

In the Arabic Education curriculum, the Qiraah Naqdiyah course is about Mafhumul Maqru. Therefore, related to understanding the meaning of reading, it cannot be separated from semantic meaning (Dalalah). This research aims to determine the correlation between understanding Dalalah and Qiraah Naqdiyah courses. This research method is a Quantitative method with a correlative study approach and uses the Pearson correlation test. The data collection techniques are through questionnaires and tests. The object of this research is PBA UHAMKA Jakarta Students. The data used are the results of the Dalalah Science and Qiraah Naqdiyah tests. This research indicates that the correlation between grades in the Dalalah and the Qiraah courses, both from class A and class B, could be more robust. The synergy between Dalalah science courses as an approach to supporting Qiraah Naqdiyyah courses needs to be improved so that the achievement of Qiraah Naqdiyyah can be optimal.

Abstract

Kajian sintaksis terhadap Al-Quran merupakan salah satu bidang yang menarik untuk dieksplorasi, terutama dalam konteks analisis qowaid harfu maa. QS. Al-Kahfi menjadi salah satu fokus utama dalam analisis ini karena terdapat ayat-ayat yang memuat konstruksi bahasa yang kompleks. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan qowaid harfu maa dalam QS. Al-Kahfi dengan pendekatan sintaksis. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah pendekatan sintaksis, dimana ayat-ayat yang memuat konstruksi harfu maa dianalisis secara mendalam dari segi struktur kalimat, hubungan antarklausa, dan makna yang tersirat. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan harfu maa dalam QS. Al-Kahfi sangatlah beragam dan memiliki kedalaman makna yang mendalam. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif analisis isi karena dipelajari berdasarkan analisis data yang dilakukan peneliti tanpa menggunakan metode statistik. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Kitab Terjemah Tafsir Jalalain, Aplikasi الباحث القرآني dan ayat-ayat dari surat Al-Kahfi yang bermakna harfu maa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam QS. Al-Kahfi terdapat harfu maa isim yang mengandung harfu Maa Isim Maushul terdapat 19 lafadz, harfu Maa Isim Istifham terdapat 1 lafadz, harfu Maa Isim Syartiyah terdapat 1 lafadz, dan harfu Maa Isim Masdariyah terdapat 3 lafadz serta Maa harfu yang mengandung Maa Nafi terdapat 14 lafadz dan Maa Zaidahterdapat 2 lafadz. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam pemahaman lebih lanjut tentang struktur bahasa Arab dalam Al-Quran serta mendukung perkembangan metodologi analisis sintaksis dalam kajian Al-Quran.

Abstract

One of the most crucial language abilities is writing. Nonetheless, a lot of students still struggle with writing in Arabic, particularly when it comes to word or phrase construction. This challenge is frequently brought on by language gaps, a lack of knowledge of writing conventions, and structural discrepancies between Arabic and Indonesian. The Structure Analytic Synthetic (SAS) approach is seen to be a good way to get better at writing. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how the SAS approach has affected the writing abilities of seventh-grade students at SMP Muhammadiyah 35 Jakarta. This study employs a pre-experimental design and a quantitative methodology. 16 pupils from class VII 1 are the study's subjects. Written tests were used to collect data both before and after the treatment (pre-test and post-test). The study's findings demonstrate that when the SAS approach was used, pupils' writing abilities significantly improved. Compared to the average pre-test score of 65.81, the average post-test score is higher at 86.43. The significance threshold of 0.05 is exceeded by the paired sample t-test's significance value of 0.001. The SAS approach has been shown to be successful in improving pupils' Arabic writing abilities. Arabic language instructors can use the study's findings as a guide for choosing efficient teaching strategies to help their students become better writers.

Abstract

The classic story of the poem "Layla Majnun" which presents a tragic love story and becomes one of the famous love stories in the Persian literary tradition. The problem raised from this research is How to Analyze Sigmud Freud's theory in the sy'ir "Layla Majnun", and How to Psychoanalytic Qais in the poem "Layla Majnun" using Freud's psychoanalytic theory framework. The purpose of this research is to analyze the psychology experienced by Qais figures using a psychoanalytic approach, which underlies the relationship between psychology and love. As well as producing about how psychology in Qais love can be applied in today's life. It can be associated with love problems that often occur in teenagers today. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative, where the verse text is analyzed in depth to identify the psychological elements that underlie the Qais character. Research results show that id Qais encourages a strong desire to love Layla, while the ego tries to balance that desire with the existing reality. The superego plays a role in creating guilt and moral conflict, which in turn worsens Qais's emotional state. In addition, ego defense mechanisms such as Repression, Sublimation, Projection, Displacement, Rationalization, Reaction Formation, and Regression help explain how Qais deals with emotional pain and internal conflicts he experiences. This research is expected to contribute to the understanding of the relationship between psychology and literature, as well as open up space for further research in the field of literary analysis and psychology.

Abstract

The Muhammadiyah organization was founded with the slogan of renewal and modernization. These two slogans make Muhammadiyah different from other organizations. The text "Ma Huwa Asasu Jam'iatul Muhammadiyah" explains Ahmad Dahlan's sermons and describes the basis and concerns of Ahmad Dahlan regarding the condition of Muslims who deviate from the teachings of the Qur'an and Hadith. This study used the paradigm of philology and hermeneutics as a humanities science, namely, a science that carries out a hermeneutic function by correcting texts as social discourse. Text analysis, especially single manuscript editions, uses descriptive analysis methods. The handling of the text "Ma Huwa Asasul Jamiatul Muhammadiyah" requires careful content analysis by considering various specific cases in the text and the nature of its intertextuality. This study found three major principles of Ahmad Dahlan's ideology. First is the ideology of the Muhammadiyah organization. Second, Ahmad Dahlan's reasons for establishing Muhammadiyah. Third, Ahmad Dahlan's message to the people of Pekajangan, Pekalongan, Central Java. This research aims to provide information about the founding of the Muhamadiyah organization contained in the text. Then, it examines in depth how Ahmad Dahlan's ideology established the Muhammadiyah organization. In addition, it reveals the implied content of Ahmad Dahlan's sermon. This is necessary so that the cadres and the people understand the embryo of the Muhammadiyah organization.

Abstract

Arabic as an international language has a very significant role in the realm of education in Indonesia. However, many students face difficulties speaking Arabic. This study aims to explore the factors that influence Arabic-speaking difficulties and find effective solutions to overcome them. Using a qualitative method and a case study approach, the research involved 15 students from classes X-1 and X-2 of SMA Muhammadiyah 5 Jakarta as research subjects. We obtained data through interviews, observations, and documentation. We carried out data analysis through methods such as data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of this study indicate that students in grades X-1 and X-2 at SMA Muhammadiyah 5 Jakarta are still not maximized in pronouncing Arabic words and sentences due to several obstacles faced, such as educational background, lack of motivation, anxiety, and fear. Other factors include the environment, teaching materials, and the teaching process. The efforts that can be made by Arabic teachers are: giving extra attention and additional focus; providing a special approach; providing leniency; and creating interesting and effective teaching media. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that students' difficulties in speaking Arabic at SMA Muhammadiyah 5 Jakarta is a problem that needs to be addressed comprehensively. The implications of this study include encouraging students to learn more actively. Teachers use it as a guideline to enhance their learning strategies. It serves as the foundation for the school's efforts to enhance the Arabic language curriculum. This research could potentially assist students at SMA Muhammdiyah 5 Jakarta in overcoming their challenges in speaking Arabic.

Abstract

Arabic has two dialects, namely Arabic Fusha and Arabic Ammiyah. Arabic Fusha is the language used in the Al-Quran, al-Hadith, and scientific writings. Arabic Fushahh has become an international language that was inaugurated on December 18, 1973, by UNESCO (United Nations Education, Scientific, and Cultural Organization). Arabic fusha (standard variety) is the language used in the Qur'an, official situations, composing poetry, writing prose, and expressions of thought (scientific writings). Arabic Fusha is also commonly used as the official language of instruction on campuses or Islamic Universities in the Middle East. Meanwhile, Arabic 'Ammiyah (non-standard variety) is a variety of languages ​​used for ordinary daily affairs. In Arab countries stretching from the Persian Gulf to the Mediterranean Sea, there are various dialects of 'Ammiyah (non-standard variety), each with different phonetics, vocabulary, and structure. The Arabic 'âmiyah is different from the Arabic fushâ. This difference occurs in phonetic aspects and choice of words. At the level of choice of words, for example, ثلاثة أسابي مدة إقامتي هنا (muddatu iqâmtî huna tsalâtsatu asâbî’: I’m here for three weeks). This sentence in the 'âmiyah of Egypt is expressed أنا هنا ثلاثة أسابي (ana hina talâtasâbi’), and in Gulf Arabic it is expressed مدة ثلاثة أسابي أنا هنا  (ana hina mudah tsalâtha asâbi’), whereas in Levantine Arabic it is expressed أنا هون لثلاثة أسابيع (ana hoon li talâti esâbi’). The lack of knowledge of students in Indonesia about the Ammiyah language has an impact on the need for training for students with the theme "Training to speak Ammiyah Egyptian Arabic at the Muhammadiyah Darul Arqam Islamic Boarding School, Depok. This activity is divided into three stages: first, introducing the rules in the Ammiyah language. Second, speak Arabic Ammiyah with the rules that have been taught to Muhammadiyah Darul Arqam Depok Islamic Boarding School Students. Third, training in writing Ammiyah rules with the rules that have been given. This training is useful for students of the Muhammadiyah Darul Arqam Islamic Boarding School, Depok, to prepare students to continue their studies in the Middle East.

Abstract

Tourism is one of the potentials that can move the economy and advance a region. When viewed in terms of geography, natural wealth and ethnic cultural wealth in the archipelago is very alarming if the tourism sector has not become a prima donna in improving the economy of its people. Some areas such as Bali, Lombok or Yogyakarta have been quite aggressive and good at maximizing the potential of their regions through various promotions either conventionally or using digital media. There is a tourist village in the Bogor area that already has a variety of potentials such as culinary and ethnic wealth but not many people know about it. Pulo geulis as a densely populated residential area located in Babakan Pasar Village. The service team is interested in seeing the potential of Pulo Geulis to increase promotion through social media which will ultimately help the local economy. By providing experts in the field of communication who are competent in providing internet-based media literacy is a solution to optimize the use of social media for promotional media. With good social media literacy, it will certainly make it easier for people to create a variety of promotional content for their area.

Abstract

English scrabble is a prestigious language board game in the world. In addition to being a medium of vocabulary mastery, English scrabble is also an international tournament. Ironically, this is not shared by Arabic scrabble even though it is one of the languages that most speakers and learners learn. The uniqueness of Arabic and the difference in structure with English are the main factors causing the stagnant Arabic scrabble game. Finding the complexity of problems in terms of language structure and Arabic scrabble components is the purpose of this study. By coming up with a theory that will make Arabic scrabble more adaptively accepted by even non-native speakers. Descriptive qualitative methods were used in this study with data sourced from observations, interviews, and literature studies. The subjects observed and interviewed were students of UHAMKA Arabic Language Education. Other sources refer to related books and journals. The data were analyzed using comparative and reduction techniques. Overall, the inequality of tile distribution of the Arabic alphabet and the English alphabet, then diacritical symbols (harakat) as Arabic vowels, and the need for editions that are friendly to foreign speakers are the three points of the final results of this study.

Abstract

Literature is defined as a creative work of humankind that utilizes language in its creation. There are many forms of literary works, including novels. As a medium of expression, novels allow authors to systematically convey ideas, experiences, and social reflections, enabling readers to interpret the meaning and values contained within. This research aims to examine intrinsic elements and show the relationship between structural elements in the novel. Sab ‘atu Ayyam Faqath karya Wail Wajdi ini. This research is included in the qualitative research type. Descriptive. The technique used in this research is structural formalism, which views literary works as a complete and whole structure where intrinsic relationships are generated.Data analysis techniques include the disclosure method (identification and description) and the systematic analysis method (examining the relationship between elements).ResultsThis research shows that the novel's structure is very cohesive. The story elements center on the father's physical and psychological suffering, driving the main plot. The central character, Wail Wajdi, emphasizes strong motifs of devotion and loyalty. This research answers the intrinsic elements contained in the novel and reveals the coherence or relationship between the elements. This research can also providetheoretical contribution to the study of Arabic literature and serve as a reference in improving the ability to understand Arabic texts.
