Abstract

This study pupouse to describe the competence of professional teacher social sciences (history) in Junior High School 1 Lembah Gumanti. There are twelve teacher professional competences according to Hamalik O. Emar. In this case the author do observation to the classroom in teacher explain the lesson. After that the author do interview. This research/study was done in three meetings. The object of research/study is the social sciences (history) teachers, the students and the headmaster of Junior High School 1 Lembah Gumanti. The data collected is related to observation study and the interview. The technique of data collecting by collected data, reduction data, display data and make the conclusion. Taken from the observation sheet by using a checklist list. According to the result of the research that the social science teacher of Junior High School I Lembah Gumanti are Professional teacher because they are can do the twelve Professional competence said Hamalik O. Emar. The research showed that by doing the twelve teacher Profesional competence in learning of social Sciences (history) can increase the competence of Profesional teacher.

Abstract

On the subject of sociology , it still looks low student interest towards learning sociology . From the observation at that time seen the low student interest in learning sociology , it can be seen from the number of students who are noisier when the teacher explains the lesson , if given the opportunity to ask only 1 and 2 students who would ask . This study aims to describe students interest in learning activities sociology . The theory used in this study is the Gestalt theory .This study used a qualitative research case study . In this study , the determination of informants conducted by purposive sampling technique , while the informants in this study is , Principals , School Waka , Sociology Teachers , and Students of class XI IPS 4 on SMA N 1 Pasaman . The data collected in this study is primary data obtained through interviews . The data analysis technique used consists of a reduction phases , data presentation / analysis of data , and drawing conclusions .The results of this study are : 1 ) Interest in learning students views of learning activities most students do not pay attention to pay attention to what is described by the teacher and this is because teachers do not use the materials in the delivery methods vary , more teachers use the lecture method so that students feel bored. 2 ) Interest in learning students views of the activities of hearing , many students are not menedengarkan teachers explanation and this is because teachers in the delivery of learning materials using only a lecture course that many students are doing other activities. 3 ) Interest in student views of reading activities , reading activities students are still considered very low , this is because students are lazy to read the learning materials. 4 ) Interest in student views of activity recorded , in the event Siwa is still much that is not noted this was due to the use of learning methods for students boring teachers , more teachers and students using lecture methods rely on guide books recommended by teachers for learning resources. 5 ) Interest of activity asks students seen , in this activity students are still many who do not want to ask, it is because the teacher only uses the lecture method so that students do not understand what is conveyed by the teacher about the learning material. 6 ) Interest in student views of activities to answer the question , in the event the student is still considered very low , this is because the students do not understand and master the learning material presented by the teacher because the teacher only lectures in front sehinnga many students who do not pay attention. 7 ) Interest in student views of activities making the task , in this activity students being categorized, it is because a lot of students who have made the task of seeing her alone .

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to describe how social studies teachers in the use of instructional media in SMPN IPS 9 Padang. This study aims to determine the type of tool used by teachers in the teaching and learning of history in the SMPN IPS 9 Padang and whether the media are used in accordance with the material presented. Ideally media that can be used in teaching and learning history is a map, images/photographs and documentary films. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with research sites in SMPN 9 Padang. The informants in this study include social studies teachers, amounting to 3 people, the principal and several students through observation, interview and document through the RPP. The accuracy of the materials research was tested by using triangulation, the materials research were analyzed with an interactive model that consists of data collection, data reduction , data display and conclusion. The results showed that the use of tool in teaching social studies in the history of the SMPN 9 Padang generally not been implemented to the fullest, because of the lack of tool  provided by the school. While factors - factors that cause teachers not using media in teaching social studies in the SMPN 9 Padang, among others: the lack of tool provided, even though the teacher is equipped with sufficient material and mature science in college, it can not guarantee that teachers can deliver material with more extensive and complete. Limitations of the media provided by the school teachers also resulted in less use of media in accordance with the material presented. From the above it can be concluded that the use of instructional media in SMPN 9 Padang IPS is not maximized because the teachers do not understand the function of the media and the lack of media in schools.  Key Words: Media, Teaching and Learning

Abstract

ABSTRACTLow ability students understanding of the interpretation of facts is caused by various factors one of which is the process of teaching history is still a student information delivery is only able to make keeping in, the purpose of learning the history of one of them is to train students to think critically through the facts in the teaching of history. One effort to improve understanding of the interpretation of the facts in the model of teaching history through The Power Of Two. This study aimed to determine the effect of the application of The Power Of Two models of the learning outcomes of students in high school history Koto Baru Sma N 1 Dharmasraya. Benefits of this research is to encourage history teachers to innovate in using learning model that can improve the learning outcomes of students in finding their own historical core subject matter .This research is quantitative research, in which data is obtained through direct experimentation in class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1  Koto Baru Dharmasraya. The selection of the sample in this study was taken by Random Group assuming that each group has the ability to learn the history and customs of the same. Sampling was done by two classes, for the experimental class XI IPS 3 and a control class is class XI IPS 4.After a study found that the study results to interpret historical facts experimental achievement of a higher class than the control class. This is evident from the difference value of 8.34 posttest experimental class and the control class posttest score difference at 6.93 thus increasing learning outcomes interpretation of historical facts experimental class higher than the control class learning outcomes.From the analysis of the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that the application of learning models The Power Of Two influential real significant impact on student learning outcomes in interpreting historical facts subject matter of class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Koto baru Dharmasraya.Keywords: Ienfluence­­ – The Power Of Two - Result study

Abstract

This article is written based on the thesis entitled ?The Development of Leaflet Media for Local History Teaching  Media? Grade XI at Senior High School (SMA) 6 Padang. This research is a developmental research, carried out because the students are yet to utilize the textbook as well as the other reading materials containing the relevant learning materials, thus their learning experience is less meaningful. The purpose of this research is to reveal the eligibility and practicality of leaflet as a History teaching material. The research method  refers to the mechanisms introduced by Borg and Gall. The objects of this research are the students of Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 6 Padang grade XI Social Science 4 whose number is 27 students, with 2 lecturers as the expert in material validators and 2 History teachers in grade XI Senior High School No. 6 Padang.according to the feedback from the students and teachers, the leaflet is eligible and practical to be used in the teaching and learning process of Japanese Colonialization.

Abstract

Pembuatan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik dengan menggunakan pertanyaan maupun materi yang baik dan disusun berdasarkan ketentuan HOTS seperti ketentuan yang tercatum dalam kurikulum 2013, hal ini tentunya akan membantu, mendorong dan melatih peserta didik untuk bisa berpikir kritis dan analisis mengerjakan soal atau memecahkan permasalahan yang ada dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Tujuan mengembangkan LKPD menggunakan video sebagai stimulus adalah untuk melatih berfikir HOTS dalam pembelajaran sejarah serta valid atau pantas digunakan. Penelitian yang peneliti lakukan ini adalah penelitian pengembangan atau biasa dikenal dengan Research and Development disingkat dengan R & D. Model yang dipakai di penelitian ini yaitu model ADDIE. Yang dimulai dengan analisis, desain, development, implementasi dan diakhiri dengan evaluasi. Pada tahap pertama yaitu analisis, dimulai dengan analisis kebutuhan seperti melakukan observasi atau tinjauan kesekolah tempat dilaksanakan penelitian dan analisis kurikulum. pada tahap desain yaitu merancang LKPD yang akan dikembangkan. Pada tahap pengembangan pertama dilakukan validasi angket, validasi HOTS dan validasi bahan ajar yang divalidasi oleh ahli HOTS dan ahli bahan ajar untuk melihat kevalidan dari produk. Penelitian ini memiliki keterbatasan hanya sampai pengembangan. Penelitian ini memperoleh hasil dari validasi HOTS dan validasi bahan ajar yang dilakukan sebanyak 2 kali. Hasil materi HOTS berdasarkan kevalidan HOTS yaitu 3,60 dalam kategori sangat valid dan hasil analisis bahan ajar yaitu 3,62 dalam kategori sangat valid. Kata kunci: Pembelajaran Sejarah, LKPD, HOTS

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify significant differences in the professional competence of teachers based on the educational background of Indonesian history subjects at MAN 2 Mandailing Natal for the 2020/2021 school year. This study of research used is ex post facto. Ex post facto in Latin means ex post facto, which is a study where the independent variables have occurred when the researcher started by observing the dependent variables in a study. The technique used to compare the professional competence of teachers based on different educational backgrounds of teachers in the Indonesian history subject at MAN 2 Mandailing Natal for the 2020/2021 academic year is through descriptive analysis and test requirements in the form of normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of research conducted at MAN 2 Mandailing Natal, there is a difference between the professional competence of teachers with historical education backgrounds and the professional competences of non-historical teachers in history subjects at MAN 2 Mandailing Natal in the academic year 2020/2021. This is evidenced by the average value of the professional competence ability of teachers with historical education background has an average of 127.22 and the professional competence of non-historical teachers has an average of 86.54. This is also evident from the percentage of students who state that the professional competence of teachers with historical education background is very good, namely reaching 85,1%, while the percentage of students who say that the professional competence of the teacher is very good for teachers who do not have a historical education background is only 16,2%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop a teaching material that can improve students' chronological thinking in history learning, teaching materials here can be categorized as printed teaching materials with small sizes in the form of books or also called mini books. In this study, research uses R & D (Research and Development) or what is called research and development, which in this R & D research uses the ADDIE procedure. The result of this research is to create an additional teaching material in the form of a small book (Mini Book) in which there is a material on historical events and most importantly the existence of a chronological table that directs students to think chronologically in history. At the analysis stage, which is related to the needs analysis and character analysis of students, the design stage discusses how to make a small book (Mini Book) and the use of a small book (Mini Book), the development stage talks about product development. Assessment in terms of material gets an average score of 3.70 and can be categorized as very feasible with a percentage result of 92.64% very feasible category. The assessment of the mini book (Mini Book) gets an average score of 3.62 and can be categorized as very feasible with a percentage of 90.62% in the very feasible category. Abstract

This research is motivated by the low ability to analyze students on Indonesian history learning materials, especially in the ability to analyze, one way to overcome these problems is to use the jigsaw type cooperative learning model. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the jigsaw type of cooperative learning model on the ability to analyze in learning Indonesian history. This type of research is a quantitative quasi-experimental type of research, the sample used is class XI IPS 3 as the experimental class and class XI IPS 4 as the control class. Data obtained by means of pretest and posttest using 40 objective questions. The average value of the pretest results for class XI IPS 3 is 11.31 while the class XI IPS 4 is 11.38. The average value of the post test results for class XI IPS 3 is 15.50 while class XI IPS 4 is 12.06. Furthermore, the data were analyzed by t test with SPSS version 23 program with sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.029 < (smaller) than 0.05, it means that HI is accepted and HO is rejected, saying that there are differences in students' analytical abilities in learning. Abstract

This research is motivated by the effectiveness of online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic in history subjects. The problems are 1) the COVID-19 pandemic has caused the Indonesian education system to change by following health protocols. 2) online learning is used as an option in conditions of the covid 19 pandemic. 3) with online learning many students cannot follow the lesson properly. 4) many students have difficulty in online learning. This study aims to determine the online learning process during covid 19 and to determine the effectiveness of online learning during the covid 19 pandemic. This type of research is quantitative using descriptive methods. The data sources in this study were obtained directly from information in the field through the distribution of questionnaires to 30 students. in class XI SMA N 5 Pariaman. The findings in this study indicate that the effectiveness of online learning is in the high category with a percentage of 90% with a distribution of 27 students and in the medium category the percentage of 10% with a distribution of 3 students. The results of the research in general, the effectiveness of online learning components show components of online learning preparation with a high category at a percentage of 63%, components of implementing online learning in a high category at a percentage of 63% and an online learning assessment component with a high category at a percentage of 61%. Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh efektivitas pembelajaran secara daring selama masa pandemi covid 19 pada mata pelajaran sejarah. Permasalahannya 1) kondisi pandemi covid 19 menyebabkan sistem pendidikan Indonesia berubah dengan mengikuti protokol kesehatan. 2) pembelajaran secara daring digunakan sebagai pilihan dalam kondisi pandemi covid 19. 3) dengan pembelajaran daring banyak peserta didik tidak dapat mengikuti pembelajaran dengan baik. 4) banyaknya peserta didik mendapatkan kesulitan dalam pembelajaran daring. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pembelajaran daring selama covid 19 dan untuk mengetahui keefektifan pembelajaran daring pada masa pandemi covid 19. Jenis penelitian ini ialah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskrptif sumber data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh secara langsung dari informasi dilapangan melalui penyebaran angket kepada 30 peserta didik di kelas XI SMA N 5 Pariaman. Temuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa efektivas pembelajaran daring berada pada kategori tinggi persentase 90% dengan sebaran 27 peserta didik dan pada kategori sedang persentase 10% dengan sebaran 3 peserta didik. Hasil penelitian secara umum efektivitas pembelajaran daring perkomponen menunjukkan komponen persiapan pembelajaran daring dengan kategori tinggi pada persentase 63 %, komponen pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring dengan kategori tinggi pada persentase 63 % dan komponen penilaian pembelajaran daring dengan kategori tinggi pada persentase 61 %. Kata kunci : Efektivitas pembelajaran daring, Komponen pembelajaran secara daring.
