Abstract

Berhasil atau tidaknya suatu proses pembelajaran, tergantung pada faktor internal dan eksternal yang mempengaruhinya. Di antara faktor-faktor tesebut adalah faktor minat dan cara belajar. Adapun permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pengaruh minat dan cara belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Inshafuddin Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara minat dan cara belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Inshafuddin Banda Aceh. Pendekatan yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian menggunakan penelitian asosiatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMP Inshafuddin Banda Aceh yang berjumlah 266 orang, sedangkan yang menjadi sampel adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII yang berjumlah 82 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menguji normalitas data menggunakan SPSS, kemudian menganalisis regresi linear berganda, dan menggunakan rumus korelasi Pearson. Untuk menguji hipotesis secara parsial digunakan uji t. Selanjutnya untuk menguji secara simultan hubungan minat dan cara belajar terhadap hasil belajar di uji dengan uji F. Dari hasil perhitungan koefisien determinan, minat dan cara belajar memberikan kontribusi sebesar 67,24% terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Inshafuddin Banda Aceh. The success or failure of a learning process depends on the internal and external factors that influence it. Among the factors are interest factors and learning styles. The problems in this research is how the influence of interest and how to learn the results of learning mathematics in grade VIII SMP Inshafuddin Banda Aceh. This study aims to determine the effect of interest and learning methods on mathematics learning outcomes in students of class VIII SMP Inshafuddin Banda Aceh. The approach used in this research is quantitative approach and research type using associative research. The population in this study were all students of SMP Inshafuddin Banda Aceh, amounting to 266 people, while the sample is all students of class VIII, amounting to 82 people. Data collection techniques are done through questionnaires and documentation. Data processing techniques performed by testing the normality of data using SPSS, then analyze multiple linear regression, and use the Pearson correlation formula. To test the hypothesis partially used t-test. Furthermore, to examine simultaneously the relationship interests and learning styles on learning outcomes tested by F-test. From the calculation coefficient determinant, interests and learning styles contributed 67.24% to the learning outcomes from math of students in eighth grade Junior High School Inshaduddin Banda Aceh.

Abstract

Creative thinking skills are important skills that students must possess in order to face the challenges of 21st century learning. However, initial observations show that students' creative thinking skills, especially in mathematics learning, are still relatively low. This study aims to enhance students' creative thinking skills through the implementation of the Synectic’s learning model in Grade VII of SMP Negeri 13 Banda Aceh. The study employs a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest experimental design. The study population consists of all Grade VII students at SMP Negeri 13 Banda Aceh, with a sample of one class, Grade VII-2, randomly selected from five parallel classes. Data were collected through a creative thinking ability test and analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The test results showed that the W value was 276 and the critical value was 73, so 276 > 73. This indicates a significant improvement in students' creative thinking abilities after the implementation of the Synectic’s learning model. These findings suggest that the Synectic’s model is effective in stimulating students to think fluently, flexibly, and originally through the use of analogies in the learning process. The implications of this study are that the Synectic’s learning model can be used as an alternative learning strategy capable of fostering the development of students' creative thinking skills at the junior high school level.
