Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the application of ICT learning media based on Wordwall and QuizWhizzer, on students' interest in learning mathematics.The method in this study is quantitative applying a correlation approach with a sample of 38 students of class VIII MTs SA Tarbiyatus Shibyan. Data were collected through observation, questi onnaires, interviews, documentation, and analyzed by applying the Pearson Product Moment multiple correlation test (Correlation Multiple). The results of the study showed that Wordwall has a very strong relationship with students' interest in learning while QuizWhizzer showed a strong relationship . When both media were used simultaneously,  the results of the multiple correlation test showed a very strong relationship with an  result of  and a coefficient of determination , which means the variation in students' interest in learning can be described by the application of Wordwall and QuizWhizzer. Thus, the application of these two media simultaneously has proven effective in optimizing students' interest in learning. Therefore, educators are advised to integrate Wordwall and QuizWhizzer into their learning to develop a more inspiring and responsive learning experience.  Keyword: Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Learning Media Wordwall,  QuizWhizzwer, Learning Interest.

Abstract

The use of the SEVIMA EdLink Learning Management System (LMS) aligns with the digital transformation in education and the Merdeka Curriculum. However, its application in mathematics learning to enhance students’ self-regulated learning and mathematical creative thinking skills remains empirically limited. This study aims to examine the effect of using SEVIMA EdLink LMS on the self-regulated learning and mathematical creative thinking abilities of Grade XI students at SMA U Zainul Hasan. This research employed a quantitative approach with a Pretest-Posttest Nonequivalent Control Group design. The sample consisted of two classes selected through purposive sampling: class XI F2A as the experimental group (using LMS) and class XI F2B as the control group (conventional learning). Data were collected through creative thinking tests and self-regulated learning questionnaires, then analyzed using t-tests and Pearson correlation at a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that the use of SEVIMA EdLink LMS significantly improved students' self-regulated learning and mathematical creative thinking abilities. Furthermore, a positive correlation was found between the two variables. These findings suggest that LMS can serve as an effective learning medium for improving the quality of mathematics education. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran etnomatematika berbasis bangunan bersejarah Islam terhadap pemahaman konsep geometri siswa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain Pre-test Post-test Nonequivalent Control Group. Subjek terdiri dari 40 siswa kelas IX MTs Ichyaul Islam, dengan kelas IXA sebagai kelas eksperimen dan IXB sebagai kelas kontrol yang menerima pembelajaran konvensional. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial dengan bantuan SPSS versi 22, diawali dengan uji normalitas (Shapiro-Wilk) dan homogenitas (Statistik Levene). Hasil uji independent sample t-test menunjukkan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, menandakan adanya pengaruh signifikan. Rata-rata nilai posttest siswa di kelas eksperimen (90,5) lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol (89,25). Meskipun selisihnya hanya 1,25 poin, pendekatan ini dinilai memberikan dampak praktis positif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi. Secara teoretis, penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya etnomatematika sebagai jembatan antara konsep matematika dan konteks budaya. Secara praktis, hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran kontekstual berbasis nilai-nilai Islam dapat menjadi alternatif yang efektif. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada integrasi bangunan bersejarah Islam sebagai media dalam pembelajaran geometri di madrasah. Abstract

Micro-enterprises in the snack food sector often face various challenges, including limited raw materials, high production costs, and fluctuating market demand. This study aims to optimize the production of snack foods such as sausage corndogs, cheese corndogs, and chocolate banana rolls (piscok) through the application of linear programming using the LINGO software. The research employs a quantitative descriptive approach with field observations conducted on the researcher’s own business located in Bulang Village, Probolinggo Regency. A mathematical model was developed by taking into account real-world constraints such as production capacity and raw material availability, with the goal of maximizing profit. The analysis using LINGO indicates that the optimal production combination consists of 20 sausage corndogs, 5 cheese corndogs, and 20 piscok per day, resulting in a maximum daily profit of IDR 75,000. These findings suggest that the use of LINGO software can significantly assist micro-entrepreneurs in managing resources more efficiently and enhancing the profitability of snack food businesses.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the daily profit associated with the sale of snacks at the Nihayah cafe, Pondok Putri, Pesantren Zainul Hasan. The mathematical model in this study uses Multiple Linear Regression. The analysis in this study used the SPSS 20 program application. The results of this study were a mathematical model of multiple linear regression, namely. Y = -0.360 + 0.215X_1 + 0.122X_2 + 0.088X_4 + 0.109X_5 + 0.107X_6. With the largest profit coefficient on Monday, which is equal to 0.215.

Abstract

This study explores the challenges and opportunities in the use of technology for teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL). Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through interviews with teachers, students, and school administrators, as well as classroom observations and document analysis. Key findings indicate that significant challenges include limited access to technology, a lack of technical skills among teachers, and concerns about privacy and data security. However, technology also offers significant opportunities, such as increased student motivation, more adaptive learning, and broader access to educational resources. The findings highlight the need for comprehensive strategies to address these challenges, including better teacher training and the development of technological infrastructure. This study provides valuable insights for designing policies and practices that support the effective integration of technology in EFL teaching, with the hope of improving the quality of education in the digital era.
