Abstract

Wabah global yang kita kenal dengan Covid-19 melumpuhkan hampir sejumlah besar kegiatan pekerjaan di berbagai bidang terutama yang terjadi di Indonesia. Salah satu yang terkena dampak adalah institusi pendidikan yang mengubah sistem belajar tatap muka menjadi pembelajaran daring sesuai dengan program pemerintah. Semua pihak seperti murid, mahasiswa, guru, dan juga dosen serta tenaga pendidik lainnya tetap melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran secara virtual. Banyak media yang digunakan oleh berbagai sekolah, sekolah tinggi, dan universitas dalam memberikan pembelajaran daring kepada murid maupun mahasiswa. Namun, dari kegiatan pembelajaran daring ini, ditemukan beberapa masalah seperti aplikasi yang digunakan terkadang dirasakan tidak mampu mendukung proses belajar mengajar. Selain itu, sinyal yang tidak baik serta spesifikasi perangkat yang digunakan juga mempengaruhi kegiatan belajar. Pembelajaran daring juga dirasakan mempengaruhi komunikasi dua arah antara murid dan guru atau mahasiswa dan dosen. Berdasarkan beberapa permasalahan yang disebutkan, maka diperlukan suatu aplikasi yang baik yang dapat membantu kegiatan belajar mengajar agar lebih efektif dan efisien untuk para murid atau mahasiswa yang baru bergabung di dalam sekolah atau kampus tempat mereka menuntut ilmu. Mikroskil saat ini menggunakan aplikasi Microsoft terutama Microsoft Teams untuk kegiatan perkuliahan, merasa perlu untuk membekali mahasiswa baru dalam penggunaan Microsoft Teams agar mahasiswa baru tidak mengalami kendala atau kesulitan pada saat proses pembelajaran secara virtual nantinya. Luaran yang dicapai adalah proposal dan laporan akhir pengabdian serta target publikasi di jurnal nasional.

Abstract

Along with the development of the times in the field of technology, companies are increasingly being triggered to use advanced technology as a tool or medium to survive and win the increasingly fierce competition. Internet technology has been proven to be one of the effective and efficient information media in disseminating information that can be accessed by anyone, anytime and anywhere. Internet technology has a huge effect on commerce or business. XYZ Store is a trading business engaged in the sale of plastic. The sales system at the XYZ store still uses a manual system and does not use more competent and computerized technology. The plastic sales transaction system that is done manually requires computerized data collection as a tool. Due to these problems, it is necessary to do research to find solutions that can solve problems at the XYZ store. The results of the research are the construction of a web-based plastic sales information system that makes it easier for users to place orders and payments through a computerized system that was built. Through this web information system, XYZ store can reach more customers from various provinces and cities in Indonesia.

Abstract

ABSTRAK       Tujuan dari Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat dalam bentuk pengembangan Website pada Pesantren Darul Munawwarah Al-Madani, Kec. Sunggal, Kab. Deli Serdang, Prov. Sumatera Utara adalah untuk mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan TI oleh Mitra agar menjadi suatu kelebihan dan dapat dijadikan sebagai sebuah solusi yang tepat dalam meningkatkan serta mengembangkan kualitas pesantren yang dijalankan oleh pengurus pesantren. Dengan adanya dukungan TI yang lebih optimal, diharapkan tujuan pengembangan pesantren yang sudah ditetapkan lebih cepat tercapai dan berdayaguna. Pengembangan website pada Mitra ini dikembangkan dengan menggunakan Content Management System (CMS) serta memanfaatkan platform PHP dan MySQL untuk digunakan dalam mendukung pengembangan yang lebih baik. Dalam implementasinya, website akan membentuk suatu kolaborasi dan mengintegrasikan antara pengurus pesantren, ustad, santri dan walisantri sehingga dapat saling memotivasi dalam upaya peningkatan kualitas pesantren tersebut. Dengan adanya website dapat dijadikan sebagai faktor pendorong demi terciptanya peningkatan kualitas pesantren secara berkelanjutan. Kegiatan pelaksanaan pengabdian juga membekali mitra dengan pelatihan tentang pengetahuan pengelolaan dan penggunaan website yang dapat disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan Mitra. Dengan dilakukannya pengembangan website dan pelatihan cara penggunaannya, diharapkan Mitra mampu menjadi sebuah lembaga pendidikan islam yang dapat berkembang dan berdaya guna. Berdasarkan evaluasi akhir dengan menyebarkan kuesioner terhadap 10 responden yang terdiri dari 3 pengurus, 3 dewan guru dan 4 orang santri yang dipilih secara acak, maka hasil pelatihan pengelolaan dan penggunaan website menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 10% responden sedikit memahami, 50% responden cukup memahami dan 40% responden memahami penggunaan CMS Wordpress. Kata kunci: website; CMS; pesantren; TI; almadani. ABSTRACTThe purpose of Community Service in the form of Website development at Darul Munawwarah Al-Madani Islamic Boarding School, District Sunggal, Deli Serdang, North Sumatera is to optimize the use of IT by Partners so that it becomes an advantage and can be used as an appropriate solution in improving and developing the quality of Islamic boarding schools which are run by pesantren administrators. With more optimal IT support, it is hoped that the goals of developing pesantren that have been set will be achieved more quickly and efficiently. Website development at Partners was developed using a Content Management System (CMS) and utilizing the PHP and MySQL platforms to be used to support better development. In its implementation, the website will form a collaboration and integrate between pesantren administrators, ustad, santri and walisantri so that they can motivate each other in efforts to improve the quality of the pesantren. The existence of a website can be used as a driving factor for the creation of a sustainable quality improvement of Islamic boarding schools. Community service activities also equip partners with training on knowledge of managing and using websites that can be tailored to partners' needs. By developing the website and training on how to use it, it is hoped that Partners will be able to become an Islamic educational institution that can develop and be efficient. From the results of website management and usage training Based on the final evaluation by distributing questionnaires to 10 respondents consisting of 3 administrators, 3 teacher boards and 4 students who were randomly selected, the results of training on managing and using the website show that as many as 10% of respondents have little understanding, 50% of respondents have sufficient understanding and 40 % of respondents understand the use of Wordpress CMS.. Keywords: website; CMS; pesantren; TI; almadani.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi kewirausahaan pelaku UMKM guna mendukung terwujudnya kemandirian ekonomi masyarakat. Jumlah peserta dalam kegiatan ini sebanyak 30 orang. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui penyampaian materi, diskusi, studi kasus, praktik langsung, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan kegiatan ini tidak hanya berhasil memperluas pengetahuan peserta mengenai konsep dasar kewirausahaan, tetapi juga meningkatkan keterampilan peserta dalam mengidentifikasi peluang usaha, menyusun strategi pemasaran, mengelola keuangan usaha, serta memanfaatkan media digital sebagai sarana pengembangan dan promosi usaha. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi adanya peningkatan kompetensi peserta yang ditunjukkan oleh kenaikan rata-rata nilai dari 55,3 pada saat pre-test menjadi 84,2 pada saat post-test, dengan peningkatan sebesar 28,9 poin. Selain peningkatan kompetensi, peserta juga menunjukkan perubahan positif dalam motivasi, kepercayaan diri, serta kesadaran akan pentingnya inovasi, perencanaan usaha, dan pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam pengembangan usaha. Dengan demikian, pelatihan ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi kewirausahaan pelaku UMKM serta memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap penguatan kemandirian ekonomi masyarakat.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a web-based Point of Sales (POS) system that can support online food ordering processes and computerized inventory management. The background of this research focuses on the importance of implementing technology in cafés, particularly in supporting business processes such as structured ordering systems, food stock management, and evaluating sales and food stock reports. The research methodology consists of a comprehensive analysis of the existing ordering system at Loving Nature Fortunate Coffee through visitor surveys, staff interviews, and direct observation of operational processes. The results of this research show that the implementation of a web-based Point of Sales (POS) system at Loving Nature Fortunate Coffee can increase the operational efficiency of the café and make business processes more structured and systematically recorded.

Abstract

In the era of Industry 4.0, the digital divide in high school education, particularly in urban areas like Medan, limits students' access to modern design tools such as Figma for user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) prototyping. This community service activity aims to bridge this gap by providing basic Figma training to 25 Class XI students at SMA Wiyata Dharma. The implementation involved a two-day interactive workshop, covering UI/UX concepts, basic tools (shapes, text, auto-layout), and wireframe/prototype creation for educational apps. Methods included lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on practice, supported by printed modules and free Figma accounts. Evaluation via pre- and post-tests (10 multiple-choice questions) showed a significant improvement from an average score of 45% to 78% (73% increase, p<0.05 via t-test), while partner satisfaction averaged 4.8/5 on a Likert scale. This confirms the hypothesis of at least 25% enhancement in UI/UX understanding, fostering digital creativity and career readiness.

Abstract

The rapid growth of large-scale smart environments, including smart cities, autonomous transportation systems, and smart grids, has necessitated advanced decision-making mechanisms capable of adapting to dynamic and complex conditions. Intelligent agent systems (IAS) offer a promising solution by enabling decentralized, autonomous decision-making based on real-time data. This study explores the application of IAS for adaptive decision-making in large-scale smart environments, focusing on the challenges of scalability, resource allocation, and system responsiveness. The primary objective is to design and evaluate an intelligent agent system capable of operating efficiently in diverse, complex environments. A mixed-methods approach was used, combining simulations and real-world implementations in various smart environments, including energy grids, smart cities, and industrial automation systems. The results indicate that while IAS can perform effectively in smaller environments, performance decreases in large-scale systems due to increased agent interaction and data complexity. Scalability and adaptability remain significant challenges, with response times and resource allocation efficiency declining as the system size grows. The study concludes that further advancements are required in communication protocols and machine learning algorithms to enhance the scalability and real-time decision-making of IAS in large, interconnected systems.

Abstract

Rapid digital transformation has generated unprecedented volumes of heterogeneous data, creating significant opportunities for predictive analytics while simultaneously increasing challenges related to data quality, scalability, computational complexity, and decision reliability. Conventional predictive models frequently experience performance degradation when processing high-dimensional and continuously evolving Big Data environments. This study aimed to develop and evaluate an integrated Artificial Intelligence framework that combines advanced Big Data mining techniques with hybrid machine learning models to improve predictive accuracy, computational efficiency, and analytical robustness. Quantitative computational research was conducted using large-scale structured and semi-structured datasets processed through data preprocessing, feature engineering, dimensionality reduction, ensemble learning, deep learning, distributed computing, and hyperparameter optimization. Model performance was assessed using accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, area under the receiver operating characteristic curve, computational time, memory utilization, and scalability. Experimental results demonstrated that the proposed hybrid framework achieved 98.63% prediction accuracy, an AUC-ROC of 0.995, substantially reduced computational time, lower memory consumption, and superior scalability compared with conventional machine learning and deep learning approaches. Statistical analyses confirmed significant performance improvements across all principal evaluation metrics. Findings indicate that integrating intelligent data mining with Artificial Intelligence enhances predictive capability by optimizing the complete analytical pipeline rather than individual algorithms alone, providing a scalable, efficient, and reliable framework for predictive analytics across diverse Big Data application domains.

Abstract

Penyajian informasi publik melalui kanal digital sering menghadapi persoalan kepadatan data, hierarki informasi yang lemah, dan variasi literasi digital pengguna. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang prototipe dashboard visual interaktif dan melakukan evaluasi usabilitas awal untuk mengidentifikasi kualitas navigasi, kejelasan visual, pemahaman informasi, dan kepuasan pengguna. Perancangan menggunakan pendekatan user-centered design melalui identifikasi konteks, analisis kebutuhan, pengembangan konsep komunikasi visual, implementasi prototipe, dan evaluasi formatif. Pengujian melibatkan 30 calon pengguna dewasa yang direkrut secara purposif. Peserta menjalankan skenario pencarian indikator layanan, penggunaan filter data, serta interpretasi grafik, peta, dan tabel. Evaluasi menggunakan empat dimensi penilaian deskriptif pada skala 0–100 dan umpan balik kualitatif; instrumen tersebut tidak diposisikan sebagai System Usability Scale (SUS). Hasil menunjukkan skor kemudahan navigasi 82, kejelasan visual 85, pemahaman informasi 88, dan kepuasan pengguna 84, dengan rerata deskriptif 84,75 atau 84,8 setelah pembulatan. Navigasi menjadi dimensi terendah dan mengarahkan rekomendasi pada penguatan status filter, petunjuk interaksi, serta konsistensi kontrol. Temuan memberikan bukti awal bahwa integrasi prinsip desain komunikasi visual dan evaluasi berbasis pengguna dapat mendukung penyajian informasi publik yang lebih terstruktur. Kesimpulan dibatasi pada prototipe dan sampel penelitian ini tanpa klaim kausal maupun perbandingan dengan penyajian teks.
