Abstract

This study examines knowledge management strategies employed by Islamic universities in Indonesia to boost academic knowledge production. It explores the policies designed to support lecturers and students in producing and publishing scholarly work that is accessible and recognized within the scientific community. Focusing on five state Islamic Higher Education institutions (PTKIN) selected for their Sinta 2.0 ranking, the research identifies unique and standard policies across these universities to enhance knowledge output. Findings reveal that each PTKIN implements specific strategies to increase knowledge production and values contributions to reputable international journals. These strategies include providing resources and support for knowledge creation rooted in a shared foundation of program improvements directed by the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The study highlights how these universities adapt and extend existing initiatives to meet their unique needs, demonstrating the effectiveness of tailored knowledge management practices in fostering academic excellence.

Abstract

Secara normatif, Nabiullah Ibrahim as merupakan nenek moyang dari kedua agama samawi yakni Islam dan Kristen. Munculnya pertentangan diantara kedua agama tersebut dapat kita telusuri dari akar teologi yang mereka miliki masing-masing. Dari sudut pandang Islam, sistem teologi agama Kristen dinilai tidak murni lagi karena telah mengalami banyak perubahani. Oleh karena itu, teologi Kristen memandang bahwa kehadiran islam adalah untuk meluruskan sekaligus memperbaiki berbagai penyimpangan yang oleh orang Kristen sendiri dinggap bukanlah hal yang keliru. Dengan adanya perbedaan dua sudut pandang ini maka melahirkan pertentangan yang berkepanjangan dalam sejarah teologi yang mereka miliki masing-masing. Perang Salib yang pernah terjadi dalam sejarah dan melibatkan dua komunitas yang berbeda yakni Islam dan Kristen merupakan bukti nyata adanya pertentangan kedua agama tersebut secara teologi. Terkait dengan penulisan karya ilmiah ini tentunya berasal dari penelitian yang menggunakan perpustakaan sebagai sumber utama. Melalui penelusuran yang mendalam lewat berbagai literatur perpustakaan yang ada hubungannya dengan judul penelitian ini maka diperoleh hasil bahwa retaknya hubungan antara kedua agama yakni Kristen dan Islam sesungguhnya dimulai sejak islam berhasil menguasai beberapa wilayah Kriten karena tekanan kebodohan dalam kehidupan mereka di abad peretengahan. Selain karena adanya pertentangan klasik yang bersifat teologis, kedua agama inipun sering pula mengalami pergulatan karena sulitnya menghindari persinggungan diantara keduanya oleh karena keduanya telah menjadi transnasional. Tidak ada satu pun negara di dunia kecuali masyarakatnya terdiri atas penganut agama Islam atau Kristen. Terlepas dari hal ini, ada satu fakta yang tidak bisa dipungki bahwa kebangkitan dan kemajuan Dunia Barat atau Kristen tidak lepas dari kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan yang pernah dicapaiu oleh umat islam di masaa klasik. Abstract

This research provides an in-depth examination of the 7P marketing mix strategy within Phatnawitya School, an Islamic institution catering to a minority Muslim community in a predominantly Buddhist region of Southern Thailand. Utilizing a qualitative methodology with a descriptive approach, the study explores the school's application of the 7P framework, focusing on the creation of well-rounded individuals and the establishment of a strong community presence. The collected data reveal a comprehensive education offering, from early childhood to advanced Islamic studies, facilitated by a robust infrastructure and innovative programs such as the Change ILP and sports initiatives. The school's approach to market identification, segmentation, and product differentiation demonstrates a strategic alignment with the needs and expectations of its student body. The research highlights the school's adept use of both direct community engagement and social media to communicate its values and offerings. While the study is limited by its singular focus on one institution, the findings suggest that Phatnawitya School's implementation of the marketing mix can inform broader strategies for Islamic educational services in similar socio-cultural contexts. Recommendations for further research include a broader examination of marketing strategies across Islamic educational institutions with varying cultural influences.

Abstract

This article explains the process of instilling values, which is carried out by internalizing community teachings through educational units. The internalization of values is achieved by inserting Samin's noble pitutur in PAI and PPKn subjects at elementary, middle and high school levels. The choice of this educational institution indicates that schools have a strategic role in preserving values. This participatory action research was conducted in Dusun, Japan, a hamlet inhabited by the Samin Bojonegoro community. This community adheres to the teachings of its ancestors. However, on the other hand, the openness in this community also allows for a permissive attitude, which has the potential to erode the strength of their traditions. The research was carried out for four months, starting with problem mapping, problem analysis and action involving traditional stakeholders, policy stakeholders and education stakeholders. The choice of action taken is to insert community values through Islamic Religious Education and Character subjects and Pancasila and Citizenship Education subjects. This insertion is a cultural preservation strategy that stakeholders consider to be the right step because, through this institution, children can internalize the noble values that exist around them.

Abstract

This research aims to improve critical thinking skills and Scientific Epistemological Beliefs (SEB) through Flipbook-Assisted Predict Observe Explain Elaboration Write Evaluation (POE2WE) learning model. Critical thinking and good SEB are educational mandates in the curriculum and 21st-century skills. This research was conducted in two classes, namely classes 7A and 7B at the SIKL. This research was a quantitative experiment using posttest-only nonequivalent group. The instruments used to collect data are critical thinking tests and SEB questionnaires. The results of the critical thinking test were analyzed using the Independent Sample T-test. The t-test results obtained were 0.89, greater than 0.05. The highest indicator of critical thinking ability is Basic Clarification with an average score of 91,37. Meanwhile, students SEB were reviewed from the results of filling out the questionnaire, the highest indicator obtained was source with a response of 56.9%. Thus, using the Flipbook-Assisted POE2WE model can significantly improve students' critical thinking skills and SEB.Keywords: critical thinking skills, science epistemological beliefs (SEB), predict observe explain elaboration write evaluation (POE2WE), flipbook, 21st-century skills

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh persaingan harga, kualitas produk, dan desain tempat terhadap minat beli konsumen di Tea Break Lamongan, sebuah UMKM sektor minuman kekinian. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, kuesioner, serta analisis deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa tingginya persaingan harga dan kurang menariknya desain tempat berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penurunan volume penjualan. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, diterapkan strategi discount bundling dan penataan ulang desain tempat. Implementasi solusi ini menunjukkan peningkatan transaksi, volume penjualan, serta kepuasan konsumen. Simpulan penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya strategi harga yang kompetitif, kualitas produk yang konsisten, dan desain tempat yang menarik dalam meningkatkan minat beli dan daya saing UMKM. Disarankan Tea Break Lamongan terus melakukan evaluasi berkala terhadap strategi harga, produk, dan desain tempat, serta memanfaatkan sistem informasi akuntansi untuk mendukung pengambilan keputusan. Hasil penelitian ini penting dalam memberikan kontribusi nyata terhadap pengembangan daya saing UMKM di pasar minuman kekinian yang dinamis.

Abstract

Institutional transformation within pesantren-based Islamic higher education institutions has Institutional transformation within pesantren-based Islamic higher education institutions has become an increasingly significant phenomenon, especially as these institutions seek to strengthen their position amid global competition. There are three purposes of the study: (1) the driving factors behind organizational change in pesantren-based Islamic universities, (2) the processes through which institutional transformation is implemented, and (3) the implications of these changes for institutional development. Employing a qualitative multi-case study approach, the research was conducted at Universitas Hasyim Asy’ari (UNHASY) in Jombang and Universitas Nurul Jadid (UNUJA) in Probolinggo. Methodologically, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. The results indicate that institutional change is driven by three main factors: the pressure of global competition and market demands, the need to reinforce Islamic and pesantren-based values, and efforts to improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency. The transformation process is implemented incrementally through internal mergers between institutions under a single foundation. This research contributes to enhanced service quality and increased institutional competitiveness by drawing lessons from organizational changes that led to the restructuring of institutional governance in pesantren-based universities.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengumpulkan data dari Kanwil Kementerian Agama Jawa Timur tentang Monitoring dan Evaluasi Kinerja Pondok Pesantren Melalui Pemanfaatan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Pendidikan (EMIS). Pesantren ini dilaksanakan di Kantor Wilayah Kementerian Agama Provinsi Jawa Timur. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif maka penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif. dengan menerapkan metode pengumpulan data yang meliputi dokumentasi, wawancara, dan observasi. Selanjutnya penulis mereduksi, menjelaskan, dan menarik kesimpulan dari data yang akan diteliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) implementasi Sistem Informasi Manajemen Pendidikan (EMIS) telah dilaksanakan. baik mulai dari pemasukan data, pengecekan kebenaran data, hingga keluaran keluaran, serta pemanfaatan data keluaran EMIS. (2) Temuan evaluasi pemanfaatan manajemen informasi di bidang pendidikan Untuk menyediakan data yang andal dan terkini yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh Kanwil Kementerian Agama Jawa Timur, pesantren, dan lainnya Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya Sistem Informasi Manajemen Pendidikan (EMIS) untuk menghasilkan laporan yang dapat digunakan untuk berbagai keperluan, antara lain merencanakan program pengembangan, mengambil keputusan strategis, dan melaporkan kepada otoritas atau pemangku kepentingan terkait bidang pesantren.
