Abstract

The purpose of this service is to assist junior high school teachers in creating digital learning media based on artificial intelligence and to enable them to be implemented independently in the teaching and learning process. This activity was carried out from September to November 2023 at SMP Negeri 16 Palangka Raya. The stages of implementing this service activity are: coordination with partners, Training Implementation, and Mentoring Implementation. This mentoring activity has succeeded in achieving the main goal, which is to improve the competence of SMP Negeri 16 Palangka Raya teachers in creating Digital Learning Media based on Artificial Intelligence (AI). Teachers who previously only had basic computer and internet skills are now able to utilize various AI-based applications such as Google Workspace, Canva, and Microsoft Office 365 to create teaching modules and teaching materials that are interactive, engaging, and relevant to the needs of students in the digital era. This activity also succeeded in increasing the confidence of teachers in adopting new technology into the learning process. From the results of this activity, some of the challenges faced, such as the difference in the level of technology mastery among teachers, can be solved through direct guidance and intensive mentoring. Teachers feel helped by the existence of training modules, technical instructions, and support from students and resource persons. This shows that well-designed training, supported by adequate facilities and infrastructure, is able to have a positive impact on the development of educators' competencies.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan efektivitas pembelajaran, mengembangkan kompetensi dan profesionalisme guru, serta mendorong inovasi dalam membuat modul ajar. Selain itu, pendampingan bertujuan untuk menyediakan umpan balik konstruktif, memperkuat kolaborasi antar guru, dan membantu guru beradaptasi dengan perubahan kurikulum. Perubahan kurikulum saat ini yaitu kurikulum merdeka masih terdapat kurangnya pemahaman terhadap konsep kurikulum, keterbatasan sumber daya dan referensi, kurangnya keterampilan pedagogik inovatif, minimnya pendampingan dan pelatihan, keterbatasan teknologi dan infrastruktur, kesulitan dalam evaluasi dan asesmen, serta keragaman latar belakang siswa. Permasalahan-permasalahan ini menghambat guru-guru dalam menyusun modul ajar yang efektif dan sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka. Tim Pelaksana PKM Program Dosen Pendukung SDM Unggul (PDPSU) Universitas Palangka Raya dalam meningkatkan kualitas SDM di SMA Negeri 10 Palangka Raya memberikan pendampingan, penguatan serta pelatihan menyusun dan membuat modul ajar Kurikulum merdeka sesuai dengan Pedoman Pembelajaran dan Asesmen dari Kemendikbudristek.

Abstract

Kemauan dan kemampuan untuk mengambil risiko merupakan salah satu nilai utama dalam kewirausahaan. Memulai usaha merupakan suatu hal yang penting dalam melakukan usaha, oleh sebab itu memerlukan kiat yang tepat untuk memperoleh kesuksesan. Ada beberapa kiat yang dapat dilakukan apabila seseorang saat ingin memulai dan mengembangkan wirausaha, antara lain : Fokus pada satu peluang bisnis, Lakukan hal yang kamu sukai, Mau belajar dari orang lain, Hiduplah dengan sederhana, Belajar dari kegagalan, tunjukkan bahwa konsep bisnis kamu yang terbaik, Jagalah Kesehatan, Buktikan dengan tindakan, bukan dengan kata-kata. Setelah memulai usaha kiat penting yang perlu kita kembangkan agar usaha agar usaha maju dan berkembang adalah :Rutin Memonitor Perkembangan Bisnis, Mengecek Kembali Kelebihan dan Kekurangan Produk, Mencari Sumber Masalah dalam Bisnis, Segera Mencari Solusi dari Masalah, Meriset Kompetitor dan Tren Pasar, Perbarui Strategi Marketing yang Digunakan, Mencari Target Pasar yang Baru, Berkolaborasi dengan Bisnis Lainnya, Membuat Inovasi Produk secara Berkala, Siapkan Hal Lainnya untuk Kondisi Darurat.

Abstract

The training activity on making Wadi fish culinary for students of the Economics Education Study Program at UPR aims to equip students with skills and entrepreneurial insights. One form of entrepreneurial learning that can be applied is through the introduction of regional culinary specialties as business opportunities. The socialization of Wadi fish making, a traditional culinary dish of the Dayak ethnic group, has become one of the efforts to increase the entrepreneurial interest of students from the Economics Education Study Program at the University of Palangka Raya (UPR). The method used in this community service is participatory, with an approach focused on enhancing the active role of students in the training process. The training techniques are varied, including lectures, Q&A sessions, and demonstrations. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the training indicate an increase in students' interest in entrepreneurship, particularly in the culinary sector based on local wisdom, which can help create self-employment opportunities and provide a positive impact on the surrounding community

Abstract

Higher education plays a strategic role in fostering students' entrepreneurial spirit to tackle global economic challenges. One solution to reduce the unemployment rate among university graduates is to equip students with entrepreneurial skills that can be directly applied. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of salted egg processing training in enhancing the entrepreneurial mindset of Economic Education students at Palangka Raya University. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including in- depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The findings indicate that experiential learning-based training positively impacts students' understanding, skills, and interest in entrepreneurship. Students show improvements in technical production, managerial skills, and product marketing. However, challenges in implementing the training include capital constraints and initial production experience limitations. Overall, salted egg processing training has proven effective in enhancing students' entrepreneurial skills, both technically and managerially. With adequate institutional support, this program can serve as a model for entrepreneurship development among economic education students.
