Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus is a metabolic disorder with a marked high level of glucose in the blood. Diabetes mellitus can affect the quality of life of patients because diabetes mellitus will accompany a lifetime of patients with diabetes mellitus, if the treatment done to patients with diabetes mellitus is not appropriate. to determine the relationship between long-suffering from diabetes mellitus and blood sugar levels with quality of life in patients with Type 2 diabetes mellitus. this research uses observational analytical method and with cross sectional approach. based on the results of this study found that the most respondents who have a good quality of life is from the old group suffering from Type 2 diabetes mellitus >10 years as many as 31 (55.4%) respondents, and from the group of blood sugar levels 140-200 mg/dl sebnyak 29 (56.9) respondents. there is a relationship between long-suffering from Type 2 diabetes mellitus with quality of life with the results of p-value = 0.000 (p<0.05). It is known that there is a relationship between blood sugar levels and quality of life with the results of p-value = 0.000 (p<0.05).

Abstract

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by the SARS Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). According to WHO data as of September 4, 2021, there were 218,946,836 confirmed cases and 4,539,723 deaths as a result of this virus. A considerable increase in the number of patients is frequently linked to noncompliance with community norms or indiscipline in applying health regulations. Aside from the level of community compliance, there are other factors that determine the occurrence of COVID-19, including family support. The family plays a significant role in developing and maintaining a fundamentally healthy lifestyle. However, many people are still unaware of the need of support from family members. The purpose of this study is to determine The purpose of this study is to examine the link between adherence to health protocols and family support on the incidence of COVID-19 in the Tanjung Senang Subdistrict of Bandar Lampung City in 2021. This study employs observational analytical quantitative research with a case control design. There is a significant link between Compliance with Health Protocols and the Incident of COVID-19, based on the statistical test findings of Compliance with Health Protocols and the Incident of COVID-19, with the p value = 0.000 (p0.05). Family Support and the Incident of COVID-19 received a p value of = 0.000 (p0.05), indicating that there is a significant association between the two. The incidence of COVID-19 is significantly related to adherence to health regimens and family support.

Abstract

Hepatitis B is known as serum hepatitis. This disease is serious and is usually transmitted through contact with blood containing the virus. Based on the 2013 World Health Organization (WHO) report, 2 billion people in the world suffer from hepatitis, 240 million people suffer from chronic hepatitis B and 1.46 million of them die. Indonesia is a country with high endemic hepatitis B, the second largest in the South East Asian Region (SEAR) after Myanmar. The type of research used in this study is descriptive, which is a research method that shows the characteristics of the population or phenomenon being studied. The sample in this study was 95 people. The sampling method is purposive sampling technique. Univariate analysis using SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions). The results of this study were that there was an increase in male sex compared to female, based on old age there was a higher increase than young age, and SGOT levels increased while SGPT was normal in patients with Hepatitis B Disease. There is a description of the normal category of SGOT value: 5-40µ/l and the value increases >40µ/l. there is a normal SGPT level value: 7-56µ/l and an increased value >56µ/l in patients with Hepatitis B at Dr. Hospital.
