Abstract

To get maximum income, farming must be able to increase production and reduce production costs. The research sample used the Slovin formula so that the number of samples was 50 mustard farmers. To determine the income of mustard farming and to find out whether mustard farming in Petleng Village, North Central Alor Regency is feasible or not to be developed. The data obtained were analyzed using the income formula: = TR –TC and the farming feasibility formula: R/C Ratio = TR/TC. average Total Cost Rp. 788,200, the average income is Rp. 3,740,000 and the average farm income is Rp. 2,951,800, and the R/C of mustard farming in Petleng Village is greater than 1, which is 4.74, this means that mustard farming in Petleng Village is feasible to develop. Key Words:  income, eligibility, mustard, Petleng

Abstract

To find out the coconut marketing channel in Pailelang Village, Alor Barat Daya District and to know the marketing margin of coconut in Pailelang Village, Alor Barat Daya District. The data obtained were analyzed by several stages of analysis, namely tracing coconut sales at the farmer to consumer level and using marketing margin analysis. Coconut marketing channels are known that there are 3 (three) coconut marketing channels, namely: Channel I: Farmers - consumers, Channel II: Farmers - Retailers - Consumers and Channel III: Farmers - Village Collectors - Traders - Retailers - Consumers. The marketing margin of coconut in Pailelang Village for Marketing Channel II is Rp. 236,460.67, while in marketing channel III, the marketing margin at the collector level is Rp. 436,460.67 and the marketing margin at retail level is Rp. 736,460.67.  Key Words:  marketing channel, the coconut, Pailelang Village

Abstract

To determine the simultaneous significant effect of product, price, location and promotion on increasing coffee farming income in Kopidil Village, Kabola District. Kabola. The sample in this study was a saturated sample technique so that all populations were sampled, namely 55 people. The analytical method uses the t test and F test. The data obtained is analyzed by several stages of analysis, namely the F test and t test. The F test shows that the variables of product, price, promotion), and location (independent variables) in this study have a significant effect on farmers' income. The t-test shows that the variables: product and price have a positive and insignificant effect on farmers' income while the promotion and location variables have a positive and significant effect on farmer's income Keywords: Marketing mix, income, coffee farming

Abstract

The research was conducted by the Maheneyaha farmer group and Imanuel farmer group from March to May 2023. This study aims to determine the role of agricultural extension agents in empowerment and to determine the effect of the agricultural extension role on the empowerment of the Maheneyaha farmer group and the Imanuel farmer group. Data were analyzed using the percentage of achieving the maximum score as follows: the average score for all respondents divided by the maximum score and multiplied by 100%. The results obtained the role of extension workers as facilitators, motivators, communicators, educators and dynamicators scores are high.Keywords: Extension Role, Empowerment, Farmer Groups

Abstract

Optimizing land use needs to be done in hilly topographic areas requiring the use of yard land to increase household income. The research aims to determine the area of the yard, types of plants cultivated using the yard, and the income contribution to family income in Lewalu Village. This research is quantitative research with 50 respondents. Data analysis uses mean, income analysis, and proportion analysis. The research results show that: (1) the area of family yards in Lewalu Village is classified as medium because there are 64% of yards with an area of 120-400 m². (2) Variations in the use of the Lewalu Village yard include horticultural plants, food, secondary crops and spices; (3) income of the people of Lewalu Village by using the yard is IDR 79,600 with the contribution of farmers' income from using the yard to family income of 9.93% which is relatively low.Keywords: household income, land, women farmers, yard
