Abstract

Hapkido merupakan salah satu cabang olahraga beladiri yang berasal dari Korea dan belum lama populer di Indonesia. Saat ini Hapkido masih merupakan cabang ekshibisi, namun akan dipertandingkan secara resmi pada PON XXI Aceh-Sumatera Utara. Cedera olahraga merupakan risiko yang tidak dapat dihindari dalam olahraga Hapkido, terbukti dengan adanya 2 atlet yang mengalami patah tulang dan lebih dari 20 atlet yang mengalami sprain dan strain pada ajang ekshibisi di Papua tahun lalu. Masalah utama yang dihadapi adalah rendahnya pengetahuan dan kemampuan pelatih dalam penanganan cedera olahraga, padahal intervensi awal yang tepat dapat mengurangi risiko komplikasi dan mempercepat proses penyembuhan. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pelatih Hapkido DIY dalam mencegah dan melakukan pertolongan pertama pada cedera olahraga. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui pelatihan dengan pendekatan ceramah dan diskusi case study yang diikuti oleh seluruh pelatih Hapkido DIY. Evaluasi keberhasilan dilakukan dengan pengukuran tingkat kehadiran dan pengetahuan peserta melalui pre-test dan post-test. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di pusat latihan Hapkido DIY pada tanggal 25 Januari 2024. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan skor pengetahuan pada seluruh peserta sebesar 50,67% dari rerata pre-test 39,13 menjadi post-test 58,96. Selain itu, diperoleh rerata skor persepsi peserta sebesar 84,82 yang menunjukkan respon positif terhadap program pelatihan. Program ini telah berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan pelatih Hapkido DIY dan diharapkan dapat dilaksanakan secara berkesinambungan untuk menjamin keselamatan atlet di masa mendatang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine 1) the development of student worksheet based on problem-based learning (PBL) on reproductive system material using Google sites and 2) the feasibility of student worksheet based on problem-based learning (PBL) on reproductive system material for class XI. This research was a research and development using the 4D model, consisted of define, design, develope, and disseminate. Student worksheet was developed using Google Sites. The validity test was carried out with expert judgment by material and media experts. External validity was conducted by biology teachers as practitioners and high school class XI students. The results showed that the results of the development of student worksheet based on Google Sites are in accordance with the 4D development stage and PBL-based student worksheet using Google Sites on reproductive system material are suitable for use based on the material and learning media aspects. Based on the assessment of material experts, learning media experts, and biology teachers as practitioners, this student worksheet is in the "very good" category, while the assessment by students as trial participants is in the "good" category. This student worksheet contains issues related to reproductive health. The media used is based on website mode, so all smartphone users can use it. It can be concluded that PBL-based student worksheet using Google Sites is feasible for use in the implementation of reproductive system biology learning materials

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of LKPD based on scientific inquiry to improve students' critical thinking skills and collaboration skills. The type of research used is research and development with research procedures using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This research is limited to the feasibility test of LKPD based on scientific inquiry at the development stage. The assessment of the results of the validity test and the practicality test of the questionnaire is interpreted on a Likert scale. Based on the data analysis, the following results were obtained: the validity test of teaching materials in the form of LKPD based on scientific inquiry obtained an average validity of the eligibility media for teaching materials of 92.75% and 85% for material eligibility. The practicality test conducted by Biology educators obtained an average score of 75% and 79% for students

Abstract

The learning process consists of a sequence of instructional and learning exercises designed to ascertain the efficacy of concept mapping-aided problem-based learning model on the human reproduction system in raising science literacy as well as the efficacy of the model on the human reproduction system in raising students' discussion skills at SMAN 1 Kasihan. This research employed a quasi-experiment design. The samples of this research were selected using random cluster sampling, consisting of 1 control class used scientific learning approach and 1 experimental class used Problem Based Learning model and Concept Mapping strategy. A descriptive and inferential statistics Independent Sample T-test were employed to analyzed the data.  The study's findings indicated that the experimental class's pre-test score was 46.97 and the control class's was 45.53. In addition, the experimental class scored 81.86 on the post-test, whereas the control class scored 62.28. The experimental class has a 0.7 N-Gain score in scientific literacy, whereas the control class has a 0.4 score. Based on the Independent Sample T-test findings, p=0.000 (p<0.05) is the significance threshold. It can be stated that students at SMA N 1 Kasihan's science literacy and group discussion abilities are successfully increased by Concept Mapping-aided Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on human reproduction material.

Abstract

Education today requires the utilization of increasingly sophisticated technology, which provides new effectiveness and innovation in learning. One of them is the development of interactive learning media to optimize classroom learning, which aims to increase interest in learning and can make it easier for students to understand learning materials. This media development uses research and development (R&D) with the development model ADDIE. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire, which is divided into a feasibility questionnaire (for media experts and material experts), a practicality (for biology teachers and student responses), and a learning interest questionnaire. The results obtained from feasibility and practicality are very good criteria, and the results of learning interest show a much higher average value in the experimental class (79.21) than the control class (62.26). In general, it can be concluded that learning media are feasible, practical, and effective for increasing learning interest

Abstract

In the 21st century, students need to have scientific literacy abilities and collaborative skills in order to be able to compete in this era. This study aims to knowing the validity, the practicality and to determine the effectiveness of IBSC (Investigation Based Science Collaborative) based student worksheet used as teaching materials on human respiratory system to improve student’s science literacy skills and collaboration skills. This development research was conducted using the ADDIE model and the data analysis used was the Manova test. The results of the study are the student worksheet is declared valid for use in the process of learning activities with an average validation score in the good category. Its also received a score in the very good category in terms of readability and practicality. The Manova test results showed a Sig. 0.000 with N-Gain values are 60.57 and 62,58 in fairly effective catefory which means there is a significant difference in the science literacy skills and collaboration skills of students who using and not using IBSC (Investigation Based Science Collaborative) based student worksheet.

Abstract

This systematic review investigates the integration of Azadirachta indica (Neem) as potential learning resources into Microbiology topics in Biology learning, focusing on its bioactive compounds and medicinal properties such as antimicrobial agent. Neem’s bioactive compounds, such as azadirachtin, nimbolide, and gedunin, exhibit potent antimicrobial activity against a broad spectrum of pathogens, including E. coli, S. aureus, and Candida albicans. These properties make Neem a compelling natural alternative in the fight against antimicrobial resistance (AMR), a growing global health concern. Drawing on 20 studies published between 2014 and 2024, this review highlights Neem’s values in microbiology curricula by offering students hands-on opportunities to study natural antimicrobial agents while fostering critical thinking and practical skills in microbiology. Additionally, incorporating Neem into education promotes environmental sustainability whilst acts as an appreciation for traditional local wisdom

Abstract

This study aims to develop electronic Student Worksheet (known with E-LKPD) with the SETS (Science, Environment, Technology, and Society) approach model to improve the critical thinking skills of high school grade XI students on reproductive system material. The SETS approach is used to stimulate critical thinking skills in problem-solving-oriented situations. The development model of this research is the ADDIE (Analysis, Define, Design, Development, Disseminate, Evaluation) development model. The research design uses a pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects of the study were 70 students in class XI of SMA Negeri 1 Depok. The development of E-LKPD was carried out with the help of iSpring. Validation is measured based on expert validation and limited trial results. The results of this study show that E-LKPD is declared very feasible and the results of the response to the use of E-LKPD have perfect criteria.  The results of the wide-scale test showed that in the experimental class that applied the SETS approach, there was an increase in critical thinking skills with an average posttest score of 84.8 with the results of the gain score test in moderate criteria. Meanwhile, the control class also experienced an increase in critical thinking with an average posttest score of 77.62 with the results of the gain score test in low criteria.

Abstract

The writing of this article aims to present the results of the analysis in the form of a literature review on the results of research on the utilization of social media-based learning videos to improve students' science literacy. The literature review was conducted on 10 articles published in various journals from 2020 to 2023. The literature review was carried out with 4 steps, namely searching and selecting articles related to the specified topic, analyzing and synthesizing the literature, and organizing the writing. The results of the literature review and analysis show that: 1) the types of research used are development research, experimental research and class action research.2) In general, the use of social media-based learning videos in research has a positive and significant impact on students' science literacy skills.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically examine and synthesize empirical evidence on the impact of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education on students’ critical thinking skills. A systematic literature review (SLR) was conducted following the PRISMA protocol by initially identifying 200 relevant articles from reputable databases, including Scopus, ERIC, and Google Scholar. Through a rigorous screening and eligibility process, 10 peer-reviewed studies published between 2015 and 2025 were selected for in-depth analysis. The results indicate that STEM-based learning consistently enhances students’ critical thinking skills, particularly through project-based learning, problem-based learning, and inquiry-based instructional approaches. The discussion highlights that the effectiveness of STEM education is strongly influenced by the quality of learning design, interdisciplinary integration, engineering design activities, and the use of higher-order thinking assessments. Differences in implementation quality, teacher competence, and learning contexts contribute to variations in outcomes. In conclusion, STEM education is an effective pedagogical approach for developing students’ critical thinking skills; however, its success depends on well-structured implementation and adequate teacher preparedness to support 21st-century learning demands
