Abstract

Abstrak Kepemimpinan kiai dalam pondok pesantren sangat penting karena pesantren merupakan lembaga pendidikan yang misi utamanya untuk mencetak generasi penerus bangsa yang berakhlak mulai. Pesantren menjadi tempat yang aman dan nyaman dalam pembelajaran serta mampu menarik minat para remaja untuk belajar di dalamnya. Untuk itu, fungsi manajemen pesantren sangat penting diterapkan. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada bagaimana manajemen kepemimpinan kiai dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan emosional santri di Pondok Pesantren Husnul Ri’ayah Suboh Situbondo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Peneliti membahas secara gamblang permasalahan yang terjadi. Berdasarkan fokus penelitian dan metode yang digunakan, penelitian ini sampai pada simpulan bahwa manajemen kepemimpinan kiai di Pondok Pesantren Husnul Ri’ayah secara fungsi manajemen planing,organizing, actuating, controling sudah terlaksana dengan baik. Peningkatan kecerdasan emosional santri di Pondok Pesantren Husnul Ri’ayah dipengaruhi oleh pengelolaan manajemen yang baik. Oleh karena itu profesionalitas kepemimpinan seorang kiai dalam menjalankan roda oranisasi pesantren khususnya dalam penggerakan mempunyai peran yang sangat penting. Seorang kiai dituntut mampu menumbuhkan semangat belajar dan selalu memotivasi para santri dalam setiap kegiatan, bukan hanya menjalankan kewajiban semata tetapi lebih pada itu kecerdasan emosionalnyapun benar-benar tercapai berasaskan sosial keagamaan. Kata Kunci: kepemimpinan kiai, kecerdasan emosional, santri, pondok pesantren Abstract The leadership of kiai in an Islamic boarding school is important, as an Islamic boarding school is an institution having the main goal to generate promising generation who has akhlaqul karimah. Islamic boarding school needs to be such a safe and comfortable place in implementing the learning process and attracting students’ interest to learn, and for that reason the management aspect of Islamic boarding school needs to be well established. This study is focused on how kiai management develops POAC to improve santri's emotional intelligence in Islamic Boarding School of Husnul Ri'ayah Suboh Situbondo. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach where researchers discuss clearly the problems that occur. Based on the focus of the research and the methods used, this study concluded that the Management of Kiai Leadership in Husnul Ri'ayah Islamic Boarding School, in the managerial functions of Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controling has been implemented very well. The increase in students' emotional intelligence in the Husnul Ri'ayah Boarding School is influenced by good managemen. Therefore the professionalism of a kiai's leadership in running the boarding school organization especially in mobilizing the santro has a very important role. How a kiai is able to foster a spirit of learning and always motivate students in every activity, not only carry out their obligations but also his emotional intelligence has been achieved well based on religious social. Abstract

Manajemen kesiswaan memiliki peranan penting karena bertujuan untuk mengatur kegiatan-kegiatan peserta didik agar kegiatan-kegiatan tersebut menunjang proses pembelajaran di madrasah. Lebih lanjut, proses pembelajaran dapat berjalan lancar, tertib dan teratur sehingga dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pencapaian tujuan madrasah dan tujuan pendidikan secara keseluruhan. Manajemen kesiswaan yang dimaksud adalah program-program dan kegiatan-kegiatan yang dilaksanakan oleh kesiswaan untuk meningkatkan keberagamaan peserta didik, sehingga tumbuh menjadi insan yang cerdas, terampil, beriman, bertakwa, dan berakhlak mulia. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada bagaimana manajemen kesiswaan sebagai representasi program peningkatan kualitas beragama siswa di MTs Unggulan Nuris Jember. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini sampai pada simpulan bahwa manajemen kesiswaan sebagai representasi program peningkatan kualitas beragama siswa di MTs Unggulan Nuris Jember dimulai sejak proses penerimaan siswa baru dengan menggunakan tes keagamaan dan psikotes. Kemudian dalam proses pembinaan disiplin siswa, dilakukan sistem reward dan punishment yang melibatkan layanan-layanan pendukung di sekolah. Kata Kunci: kualitas beragama siswa, madrasah, manajemen kesiswaan Student management has an important role to organize students’ activities, so that these activities will support the school learning process. Furthermore, the learning process which can run smoothly, orderly and regularly can contribute to the achievement of school goals and the whole education objectives. The definition of student management in this research is the programs and activities undertaken by student affair staff to improve the students diversity, so they willl grow to be a clever, skilled, faithful, religious, and noble person. A research focus is to reveal how the student management as a representation of religious quality improvement program in MTs Unggulan Nuris Jember. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. This research concluded that the role of student management as a representation of religious quality improvement program in MTs Unggulan Nuris Jember was started from the new students’ recruitment through religious and psychological tests. Furthermore, they applied reward and punishment system which involved the school support services to maintain the students discipline process.

Abstract

Kurikulum pondok pesantren merupakan hal yang sangat urgen dalam mencapai sebuah keberhasilan pembelajaran. Padahal yang kita ketahui pondok pesantren tidak memiliki kurikulum secara resmi dari pemerintah, karena hal itu merupakan kebijakan dari masing-masing pengasuh pondok pesantren.  Kajian ini difokuskan untuk mengungkap kosep perencanaan, pola pelaksanaan, model evaluasi manajemen pengembagan kurikulum pesantren di Jawa Timur. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini pendekatan diskriptif kualitatif dengan penerapan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dokumenter, sedangkan analisis datanya menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola perencanaan manajemen pengembagan kurikulum pesantren mengha-silkan program kegiatan, pertama, penyusunan program kerja visi misi dan tujuan. Kedua, adanya keterlibatan para ustadz dan stakeholders. Pola pelaksanaan manajemen pengembangan kurikulum pesantren diesuaikan degan visi-misi pesantren melalui kegiatan, 5 S antara lain: strategi inquiry, strategi inquiry sosial, strategi exposition learning, strategi rote learning, strategi contextual teaching learning. Model evaluasi manajemen pengembangan kurikulum pesantren meliputi evaluator, ruang lingkup atau objek evaluasi, alat evaluasi, kebijakan evaluasi. Kata Kunci: manajemen pengembangan kurikulum, pondok pesantren Abstract The Islamic boarding school curriculum is very urgent in achieving a learning success. In fact, what we know is that Islamic boarding schools do not have an official curriculum from the government, because it is the policy of each boarding school caregiver. This study is focused on revealing: planning concepts, Implementation patterns, evaluation models of islamic boarding school curriculum development management in East Java. The approach used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach with the application of case studies. Data collection techniques use observation, interview, documentary. While the data analysis uses data reduction, data display, verification, and conclucation. the results of the study show that the pattern of management planning for the development of the Islamic boarding school curriculum produces a program of activities, first, the preparation of the work program of the vision, mission and objectives. Second, the involvement of the asatidz board and stakeholders. The implementation pattern of Islamic boarding school curriculum development management is adjusted to the vision and mission of the pesantren through activities, 5 S, including: inquiry strategy, social inquiry strategy, exposition learning strategy, rote learning strategy, contextual teaching learning strategy evaluation model of curriculum development management includes evaluator, scope or object of evaluation, evaluation tool, evaluation policy.

Abstract

Public Relations Management (PR) in educational institutions has an important role and function in building and maintaining relations betwe institutions and the community, so as to provide public trust and influence the success of these institutions. SD Luqman Al Hakim Jember was chosen because of the many public relations programs that other schools do not have. This study aims to describe the Planning, Implementation and Evaluation of Public Relations Management Implementation in Building Public Trust at SD Luqman Al Hakim Jember. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a phenomenological research type using interview techniques, observation and documentation. Data analysis in this study was carried out by collecting data, condensing data, presenting data, drawing conclusions and verifying. To ensure the validity of the data using data and source triangulation techniques. The results of the research are: 1) HUMAS management planning is carried out during a work meeting at the beginning of the year which takes into account the results of the HUMAS work evaluation in the previous year. 2) the implementation of Public Relations Management is carried out online by maximizing the school website and then also carried out offline in the form of holding routine activities which are attended by student parents. 3) Evaluation of HUMAS management is carried out through year-end meetings or incidental HUMAS activity evaluation meetings. Manajemen Hubungan Masyarakat (HUMAS) pada Lembaga Pendidikan memiliki peranan dan fungsi penting dalam membangun dan mempertahankan hubungan antara lembaga dan masyarakat, sehingga dapat memberikan kepercayaan public dan perngaruh kesuksesan terhadap lembaga tersebut. SD Luqman Al Hakim Jember dipilih karena banyaknya program humas yang tidak dimiliki pada sekolah lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeksipsikan Perencanaan, Pelaksanaan dan Evaluasi Implementasi Manajemen HUMAS dalam Membangun Kepercayaan Publik di SD Luqman Al Hakim Jember. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian fenomenologis menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data pada penelitian ini dengan melakukan pengumpulan data, kondensasi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Untuk menjamin keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi data dan sumber. Hasil Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa: 1) perencanaan manajemen HUMAS dilakukan pada saat rapat kerja awal tahun yang mempertimbangkan hasil evaluasi kerja HUMAS di tahun sebelumnya. 2) pelaksanaan Manajemen HUMAS dilakukan secara online dengan memaksimalkan website sekolah kemudian juga dilakukan secara offline dalam bentuk mengadakan kegiatan rutin yang diikuti wali murid. 3) Evaluasi manajemen HUMAS dilakukan melalui rapat akhir tahun ataupun rapat evaluasi kegiatan Humas yang berupa insidental.

Abstract

A smart, intelligent, and skilled child is the desire of every parent. Therefore, not a few parents make various efforts so that their children can be smart in accordance with their expectations. This paper aims to reveal how great the desire of parents to make their children as desired, often experience some fundamental errors of orientation that actually destroy the future of their own children. The research method used is a qualitative approach with the type of library research. The results of the discussion show that the potential of children who are only focused on the Intelligence Quotient aspect will give birth to the child's personality which in fact becomes a Split Personality, Intelligence Quotient, therefore all three aspects must be developed equally.

Abstract

The need for information and knowledge in this era is getting higher and a solution is needed that can facilitate the acquisition of information. Along with this, various methods are used to develop knowledge and information for the community, one of which is the Knowledge Management model, which includes information technology in knowledge processing. In the world of education, the library is a mine of sources of all information, for that in the library it is necessary to have an information system that makes it easy for users to get knowledge references as complete, accurate, and fast as possible. Knowledge Management needs its role in the development of the library information system to create, capture, and reuse knowledge to achieve goals. In this case, An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School can develop a library information system so that it can support human resource development activities that can keep up with technological developments and demands. about the latest knowledge. Keywords: Library management, Islamic boarding school Kebutuhan informasi serta pengetahuan di era ini semakin tinggi serta sangatlah diperlukan suatu solusi yang dapat memudahkan perolehan informasi. Seiring dengan hal itu, berbagai metode dilakukan untuk mengembangkan pengetahuan dan informasi bagi masyarakat, salah satunya dengan model Knowledge Management, yang mengikutsertakan teknologi informasi di dalam pengolahan pengetahuan. Dalam dunia pendidikan, perpustakaan merupakan tambang sumber segala informasi, untuk itu di dalam perpustakaan perlu adanya suatu sistem informasi yang memudahkan bagi pengguna untuk mendapatkan referensi pengetahuan selengkap mungkin, akurat, dan cepat. Knowledge Management diperlukan peranannya dalam pengembangan sistem informasi perpustakaan tersebut untuk menciptakan, menangkap, dan menggunakan kembali pengetahuan untuk mencapai tujuan. Abstract

This study aims to explore how optimizing press agentry based on Islamic boarding school values can improve the visibility of pesantren, audience engagement, and reputation through an integrated strategic approach. This study uses a qualitative approach of the case study type. The subjects of the study consisted of caregivers, heads of Islamic boarding schools, Islamic boarding school administrators, guardians of students, public relations, and students. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that optimizing press agentry in pesantren can improve the visibility of institutions by utilizing modern technology, as long as the messages conveyed are in accordance with the character of the audience and still reflect the values of the Islamic boarding school. Effective use of technology can strengthen the image of Islamic boarding schools, but it is important to maintain a balance between modernity and tradition so that their Islamic identity is not disturbed. In conclusion, a communication strategy that combines Islamic boarding school values with technology can strengthen the visibility of institutions and build better relationships with stakeholders, without sacrificing the identity and basic principles of Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has created new conflicts within educational institutions, especially madrasas. Moreover, the Tapal Kuda is an area that has a different culture and language so it requires proper conflict management. For this reason, this research is focused on three places, namely MAN 1 Jember, MAN Bondowoso, and MAN 2 Banyuwangi which are in the center of the Tapal Kuda. The purpose of this study is to describe the process of identification, classification, and problem-solving strategies related to conflict management in Madrasas after the Covid-19 pandemic in the Tapal Kuda area. Data mining using observation, documentation, and semi-structured interviews. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman models, testing the validity of the data using technical triangulation. The results showed that 1) The process of identifying post-covid-19 madrasa conflict management problems in the Tapal Kuda area based on Tosi's conflict theory is still in the first stage in the form of antendants of conflict, 2) The majority conflict classification process is with intragroup, for MAN 2 Banyuwangi with intragroup and intergroup because it deals with stakeholders outside the school, 3) Conflict resolution strategies are in an integrative style because the three madrasas involve many parties and remain open to suggestions and criticism.

Abstract

Curriculum reformulation in pesantren is a managerial strategy that is adaptive to the challenges of improving the quality of Islamic education in the contemporary era. This study aims to examine curriculum management at Pondok Pesantren At-Taqwa Ajung Jember, focusing on aspects of curriculum planning, implementation, and evaluation as a strategy to improve the quality of education. The approach used is qualitative with data collection methods through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that curriculum planning at At-Taqwa Islamic Boarding School was carried out in a structured manner through: (a) organizing subject structures such as material mapping, textbooks, and scientific groupings; (b) preparing academic calendars, effective weeks, and annual activity programs; and (c) preparing learning tools, including syllabi, annual programs, semester programs, and lesson plans. Curriculum implementation is carried out through reviewing teaching tools and supervising learning activities to ensure effective implementation. Curriculum evaluation is carried out in stages: (a) input evaluation includes admission of new students and curriculum preparation; (b) process evaluation of learning implementation and supervision; and (c) output evaluation which includes learning outcomes and student achievement

Abstract

The professionalism of educators is a crucial factor in improving the quality of education. At Ulul Albab Islamic Elementary School in Jember, some teachers still come from non-educational backgrounds, resulting in less-than-optimal learning processes. This condition requires effective leadership to guide and develop teachers’ potential. Female leadership is particularly interesting to study, as it is often associated with humanistic, communicative, and collaborative approaches in educational management. This study aims to describe the implementation of female leadership models in enhancing teacher professionalism at Ulul Albab Islamic Elementary School Jember, to identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and to illustrate the level of teachers’ professional competence. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, using interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection techniques. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation to confirm the accuracy of the findings. The results show that the female principal’s leadership strategy is oriented toward a democratic leadership model, characterized by teacher involvement in decision-making, open two-way communication, and continuous guidance and mentoring. Supporting factors include a strong culture of cooperation, harmonious communication, and the habituation of Islamic activities that foster teachers’ religious character and work ethic. The inhibiting factor lies in the principal’s limited authority due to the complex foundation bureaucracy. Overall, the professionalism of educators has developed well in four key aspects pedagogical, professional, social, and personal through training, formal career development, and professional certification in accordance with national standards.
