Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisa pola hubungan kemanusiaan pendidik dan peserta didik dalam proses pendidikan, sehingga terbuktif secara empirik tentang perilaku humanitas pendidik terhadap peserta didik dalam proses pendidikan di kota Malang. Selanjutnya peneliti memberikan tawaran konsep peningkatkan kualitas humanitas pendidik dalam proses pendidikan di kota Malang. Pendekatan dilakukan menggunakan penelitian kualitatif–fenomenologis. Instrument; indept interview, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Model analisis; Miles dan Huberman, dan grand theory; teori humanisasi Freire. Berdasarkan hasil analisis peneliti, bahwa:Perilaku humanitas pendidik terhadap peserta didik dalam proses pendidikan di (SDN Purwantoro 7 dan SDN Buring) kota Malang – masih menemui kendala paradigmatis; guru masih berpandangan, ‘kekerasan’ yang dilakukan- dapat memicu lahirnya ‘spirit dan kemauan’ belajar anak. Dampaknya, proses pembelajaran masih menggunakan pendekatan threats of violence. Maka sebagai tawaran konsep dalam penelitian ini:Meningkatkan motivasi intrinsik kompetensi guru melalui re-awareness terhadap potensi personal guru dengan penguatan apresiasi diri secara natural. Menguatkan motivasi ekstrinsik melalui penyehatan sistem manajerial keorganisasian melalui pemberian apresiasi terhadap kinerja guru. Meningkatkan layanan trilogi+1 pembelajar; konsep humanis yang memperlakukan guru, peserta didik, dan orangtua sebagai pelaku yang sama-sama aktif; koordinatif, komunikatif, dan apresiatif terhadapt setiap pencapaian pengetahuan yang didapatkan, serta menjadikan IP sebagai objek dan media pengembangan mentalitas peserta didik (manusia).

Abstract

Determine and analyze the leadership of madrasa heads in improving the quality of educational institutions in MAN 2 Malang City. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a phenomenological research type. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis by condensing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions/verification. The results of the research: 1) the head of the madrasah in mobilizing to improve the quality of educational institutions in MAN 2 Malang City was carried out by; participate in preparing lesson plans, select teachers who are competent in guiding students in self-development, provide motivation to subordinates, form team work (cooperation), coordinate task activities for participating in training, the head of the madrasah also holds meetings with subordinates, and provide motivation to subordinates by setting a good example. 2) The leadership of the madrasa head in directing improving the quality of educational institutions in MAN 2 Malang City is carried out by; the head of the madrasah motivates teachers to be more creative, and coordinates the results of their work, the head of the madrasah always evaluates teacher activities, and holds official meetings with subordinates, by providing motivation to teachers during official meetings, the head of the madrasah gives a task for teachers to take part in training, the head of the madrasah gives the teacher the task of making lesson plans, the head of the madrasah also sets a good example for his subordinates to be an example of hard work for his subordinates. 3) The leadership of the madrasah head in influencing the improvement of the quality of educational institutions in MAN 2 Malang City is carried out by the madrasah head giving awards to teachers who excel in guiding students, the madrasah head providing role models and providing attention, providing welfare, setting a good example well, providing motivation to subordinates, the head of the madrasah supports and gives appreciation to the achievements of his subordinates.

Abstract

Untuk mengetahui  dan menganalisis  implementasi kurikulum   berbasis multikultural di Pondok Pesantren Amanatul Ummah Surabaya.  Penelitian kualitatif dengan  Melihat permasalahan dan tujuan penelitian yang hendak dicapai maka penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian fenomenologis.  Teknik pengumpulan data wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis Data dengan melakukan kondensasi data,  penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitiannya:  Pendekatan pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan multikultural di Pondok Pesantren Amanatul Ummah Surabaya dengan jalan: 1) pendekatan kontribusi dalam pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan multicultural di pondok pesantren Darul Hikmah dilakukan dengan jalan memenuhi kebutuhan-kebutuhan dasar santri yaitu:  mempunyai jiwa keikhlasan, mempunyai jiwa kesederhanaan, mempunyai jiwa berdikari,   mempunyai jiwa ukhuwah islamiyah, mempunyai jiwa kebebasan, 2)   Pendekatan aditif dilakukan di Pondok Pesantren Amanatul Ummah Surabaya dengan menyediakan buku-buku bacaan di perpustakaan, memperkenalkan tentang kehidupan kemasyarakatan melalui video, mengintgrasikan nilai-nilai multicultural dan menerapkannya dalam pembelajaran.  Hal itu dilakukan untuk  menanamkan pengetahuan yang luas kepada santri/peserta didik. Pendekatan adiktif dilakukan oleh guru dalam proses pembelajaran, sehingga dapat memotivasi siswa untuk terus belajar untuk mengetahui banyak hal. 3) Pendekatan transformasi pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan multicultural dilakukan pada siswa dalam proses pembelajaran di Pondok Pesantren Amanatul Ummah Surabaya guru menganjurkan untuk santri membentuk kelompok diskusi, saling membantu pada kegiataan keagamaan yang berbeda dan melatih siswa untuk mampu menerika perbedaan, kegagalan dan kesuksesan. Nilai multicultural yang berkembang di Pondok Pesantren Amanatul Ummah yaitu  nilai kebersamaan; nilai toleransi dalam keragaman; nilai kerjasama; nilai kasih sayang; nilai musyawarah; nilai keadilan; nilai demokrasi; nilai menghilangkan kecurigaan (prejudice reduction); dan nilai kesetaraan. Desain pengembangan nilai-nilai multikultural di Pondok Pesantren Amanatul Ummah  dengan cara mempertahankan spiritualitas yang menjadi ciri khas pesantren  dan meneguhkan identitas santri dengan prestasi.

Abstract

The current generation of young people plays a pivotal role in advancing Indonesia towards its vision of a Golden Indonesia by 2045. Within the realm of higher education, particularly in religious studies, there exists a significant emphasis on cultivating the character of students. Islamic education, in particular, holds a crucial position in the development of competent individuals equipped with both technical skills and interpersonal competencies. This research endeavors to explore the implementation of project-based learning (PjBL) within the curriculum of Religious Education programs offered by public universities. The aim is to harness this approach as a means of fostering exemplary student character. Conducted in Tulungagung, Indonesia, this study adopts a qualitative methodology employing a case study design. Semi-structured interviews were carried out with key stakeholders in education as well as experts in Islamic religious education at the university level. Additionally, participatory observation and document analysis were utilized to scrutinize the integration of project-based learning within the religious education curriculum. Findings from this research indicate that the incorporation of the PjBL approach into Religious Education courses at public universities facilitates an interactive and collaborative learning atmosphere. By engaging in practical projects aligned with religious contexts and local customs, students are allowed to cultivate practical skills and a profound comprehension of religious principles and local traditions crucial to the development of exemplary character.   Keywords: Religious Education, Public Universities, Project-Based Learning, Character Development

Abstract

Primary school principal combinative policies become a crucial problem during the Covid-19 pandemic. Covid-19 is an urgent problem, has a global scale and with a wide impact, include schools which is affected by the presence of covid-19. The government policy to prevent the spread of the covid-19 outbreak is closing these schools and implement a distance learning process. The research objective is to investigate the combinative policies of primary school principals to face Covid-19 deeply. The research method used a qualitative approach with the type of case study research. Data collection technique were observation and interviews. Data analysis used the interactive technique of Miles and Huberman. The conclusion of this study is the leadership digital policy of primary school principals to face Covid-19 pandemic situation are: (1) administrative services, (2) learning process and (3) communication with parents of students.

Abstract

RA Muslimat NU Nurul Hikmah Sumbersuko merupakan sebuah lembaga pendidikan yang berada di Dusun Krajan, Desa Sumbersuko. Sudah dua tahun dekorasi dan hiasan ruangan di RA Muslimat NU Nurul Hikmah Sumbersuko belum diganti atau diperbaiki, sehingga banyak yang rusak, rapuh, dan kusam. Suasana ruang kelas demikian tidak cocok dengan anak usia dini yang sangat peka terhadap warna mencolok. Bagi anak kecil, selain sebagai hiasan yang menarik, hiasan dinding juga difungsikan sebagai media belajar untuk lebih mengenal lingkungan sekitar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah PAR (Participatory Active Research) yang terdiri dari 4 tahapan, yakni to Know, to Understand, to Plan, dan to Action and Reflection. Untuk menyelesaikan masalah, tools yang digunakan adalah pohon masalah dan pohon harapan, serta dilakukan FGD (Focus Group Discussion) untuk memahami permasalahan bersama. Permasalahan utama di RA Muslimat NU Nurul Hikmah Sumbersuko adalah kurangnya waktu, tenaga, dan dana untuk membuat suasana kelas menjadi lebih menarik. Solusi yang digunakan berdasarkan kesepakatan dewan guru dan wali murid adalah dengan mengadakan program menghias kelas yang dibingkai dalam bentuk perlombaan. Dengan kegiatan ini, kesadaran wali murid akan pentingnya mendukung program sekolah semakin meningkat, paguyuban menjadi lebih solid, dan anak-anak menjadi lebih semangat untuk melaksanakan kegiatan belajar di dalam kelas, serta dewan guru juga lebih mudah untuk meyelesaikan permasalahan yang belum terselesaikan karena kurangnya tenaga di sekolah.

Abstract

The high physical workload of firefighters has the potential to cause fatigue and reduce performance, compromising safety and productivity. Given the importance of accurate measurement of physical workload, the aim of this study was to analyse physical workload using the Cardiovascular Load (CVL) method and energy expenditure to assess the level of physical intensity exerted by the body during work activities among firefighters using direct observation and pulse measurement during the working day, and estimation of energy expenditure based on recorded physical activity. The research results show that the physical workload of the employees is rather low, with an average CVL of 22.3%, indicating that there is no classification of fatigue. Energy consumption also has an average energy consumption value of 1.51, which shows that their energy consumption is in the light category. On the basis of the results of this analysis, PT also carries out regular health monitoring of physical conditions with the aim of keeping employees in optimal condition. It is hoped that this research will provide a basis for companies to develop policies to manage the physical workload of firefighters.

Abstract

This study explores the evolution of infrastructure and facilities at Al-Ustmani Islamic Boarding School in Bondowoso, East Java, focusing on how the institution balances traditional Salafiyah values with modern educational demands. Researchers used a qualitative descriptive method to gather data through semi-structured interviews, on-site observations, and document reviews. Perspectives from caregivers, teachers, administrators, and students were analyzed to reveal how infrastructure advancements relate to educational quality. The findings show a significant transition from basic facilities to modern, well-equipped structures, guided by a strategic approach to enhance learning environments while preserving the pesantren’s traditional identity. Improvements such as modernized classrooms, dormitories, libraries, and vocational training centers have led to greater student engagement and academic achievement. This harmonious integration of Islamic traditions with formal education has solidified the school’s role in fostering religious, intellectual, and socio-economic progress. Innovative initiatives like independent business units and vocational training programs demonstrate the pesantren’s commitment to preparing students for contemporary challenges. Information technology and entrepreneurship training underscores the school’s dedication to comprehensive student development. These advancements highlight the institution’s ability to adopt globalization and technological innovations without sacrificing its cultural and educational principles. This research contributes to discussions on the evolution of Islamic education by offering a replicable framework for merging traditional values with modernity in pesantren. It emphasizes the importance of holistic management to maintain relevance and excellence in an ever-changing educational landscape.

Abstract

This article comprehensively examines the strategy employed for the modernization and actualization of an entrepreneurship-based curriculum at Madrasah Aliyah Miftahul Ulum in Lumajang. The study adopts a qualitative research approach, utilizing a descriptive method through a case study framework and an analysis of relevant entrepreneurship curriculum documents with seven sources of information, including the principal, vice principal, teachers, and 3 students. The research data, gathered from interviews, observations, and documentation, undergoes rigorous analysis through data condensation, data display, and conclusion formulation. The findings indicate that the strategy for the modernization and actualization of the entrepreneurship-based curriculum at MA Miftahul Ulum encompasses several key components, including the formulation of the vision, mission, and objectives of the curriculum; an analysis of individual expertise and responsibilities and an evaluation of program implementation by the entrepreneurship education implementation team.

Abstract

Realising the development of educational institutions that will produce competitive graduates, have good morals and impact increasing the quality of Islamic education that can compete and be competitive with other educational institutions by trying to focus on handling institutional management so that it is better by focusing on development in the academic sector. This study aims to identify and analyse institutional development strategies in the academic sector at MA Mambaul Ulum Jember. Qualitative research by looking at the problems and research objectives to be achieved. This research uses a type of phenomenological research. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis by condensing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions/verification. The results of his research: Institutional development in the academic field is carried out by changing views on education, complying with Ministry of National Education policies, creating a good institutional culture, and changing the learning process. The institutional development strategy in the Academic Sector at MA Mambaul Ulum Jember is implemented by adjusting: The strategy for developing Islamic education institutions at MA Mambaul Ulum Jember is implemented by: 1) Forming students' competitive mindset through rewards, 2) Developing teacher creativity in the teaching and learning process, 3) Innovation in learning services, 4) curriculum innovation. In implementing education, the quality of academic services must be carried out in a directed, disciplined manner and guarantees the realisation of good quality education.
