Abstract

Amth?l merupakan salah satu diantara gaya bahasa penyampaian pesan-pesan Al-Quran kepada seluruh manusia. Amth?l yang digunakan dalam Al-Quran menjadikan manusia mampu memvisualisasikan secara jelas materi yang dibicarakan, sekaligus meniscayakan hakikat atau  realitas yang hendak dikemukakan mewujud secara nyata. Diantara bentuk ungkapan gaya bahasa amth?l yang digunakan dalam Al-Quran adalah mengilustrasikan tentang hewan ternak. Hewan ternak merupakan salah satu diantara banyak binatang yang hidup berdampingan dengan kehidupan manusia. Terdapat hubungan erat antara manusia dan hewan  yang telah berjalan sangat lama, dan keduanya memiliki peranan penting dalam kehidupan dunia, sehingga perlu dianalisis hubungan antar keduanya yang direpresentasikan oleh amth?l.

Abstract

One of the Islamic educational institutions that has a high existence throughout the history of the nation's civilization to date is Pesantren. As indigenous religious education institutions, Pesantren have a significant contribution in creating a generation that has good ethics and etiquette (akhlakul karimah). Pesantren has a noble tradition which is a unique characteristic inherent in it, such as Sufism, ubudiyah, scientific rihlah, book study, thoriqoh practice, and other socio-religious activities. Another unique character that is a special characteristic of pesantren is the use of the yellow book as a literature study with a special method of learning. The development of science and technology as well as the swift currents of modernization pose a major challenge to Pesantren. The convenience that technology brings is in contrast to the character education applied to Pesantren. Pesantren are required to open themselves to changing times so that they are not overshadowed by being left behind, but the obligation to preserve the noble values that have become traditions must be maintained. In this study the authors used a qualitative descriptive method, the data sources were obtained from primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques from literature studies, observations, interviews, and documentation at a number of Pesantren in East Java in terms of the application of technology to support the life of pesantren and its relation to the preservation of the noble traditions that exist in pesantren. Technology can function as a tool to help the life of the pesantren, such as in administration, learning processes and other activities within the pesantren. The application of appropriate, proportional and not excessive technology can help simplify the life of the pesantren without having to diminish the noble values in the pesantren which were passed down by the previous ulama' sacredly.

Abstract

Rasulullah SAW extremely motivates his follower to do business, since business is the way to get money speedily. It is proven by command for doing business in a good way and lawful. Syariah cooperation is a part of syariah economic system which has characteristic and values of the concept “amar ma’ruf nahi munkar” (order for doing good things and prevent for doing bad things) which means to do the right way and leave the bad way. Syariah economic is stressed on justice; teach the superior concept in facing mone- tary fluctuation compared to conventional system. Cooperation is joint enterprises engaged in the field of economy, which comprise of economically weak who join voluntarily generally and on the basis of rights equality and the obligation to make an effort which aims to fulfill their member’s need.

Abstract

Adalah kurang tepat pemahaman masyarakat yang menganggap bahwa sosok sufi itu adalah mereka yang berpenampilan kolot, yang benci kehidupan dunia, yang menolak hidup mewah atau berpakaian seadanya. Kendati dalam dunia sufi melekat pola hidup zuhud, tetapi vang dimaksud bukan tidak boleh punya harta benda, atau menolak kehidupan dunia. Sejatinya manusia sufi adalah mereka yang muwafaqoh kepada Allah, yang munasahah dengan sesama makhluk, yang mukhalafah dengan nafsu serta yang muharabah dengan setan. Untuk itulah dalam kehidupan yang semakin kompetitif, bising dan tidak jarang kejam, pola hidup sufi diharapkan dapat berperan signifikan sebagai pusat rehabilitasi sosial bagi pihak-pihak yang mengalami kegoncangan psikologis dan kegersangan spritual sekaligus sebagai penyeimbang terhadap kecenderungan pola hidup serakah, saling menjegal, materialistik dan hedonis.

Abstract

Salah satu upaya untuk menjamin kelansungan lembaga pendidikan adalah strategi pemasaran yang tepat sasaran dalam jangka pendek, jangka menengah dan jangka panjang. Kajian ini difokuskan untuk mengungkap: 1) Bagaimana konsep perencanaan pemasaran dalam rekutmen peserta didik baru di MIMA 01 KH. Shiddiq Jember Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019? 2) Bagaimana pelaksanaan pemasaran dalam rekutmen peserta didik baru di MIMA 01 KH. Shiddiq Jember Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019? 3) Bagaimana faktor pendukung dan kendala pemasaran dalam rekutmen peserta didik baru di MIMA 01 KH. Shiddiq Jember Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019? Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis interaktif model Miles and Huberman yaitu pengumpulan data, kondensasi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi partisipan, wawancara terbuka dan dokumentasi. Pengecekan keabsahan data memakai uji kredibilitas yaitu triangulasi sumber dan metode. Hasil penelitian adalah 1) Konsep perencanaan strategi pemasaran dalam rekrutmen peserta didik baru menggunakan bauran pemasaran 4-P; konsep product, price, promotion, place. 2) Pelaksanaan pemasaran dalam rekrutmen peserta didik baru menggunakan identifikasi pasar, segmentasi pasar dan positioning. 3) Faktor pendukung pemasaran yaitu menjalin kepercayaan kepada masyarakat dan kendala pemasaran terdapat pada minimnya akses media informasi lembaga. Kata Kunci: madrasah ibtidaiyah, rekrutmen peserta didik, strategi pemasaran sekolah One of the efforts to ensure the existence of educational institutions is a targeted marketing strategy in the short term, the medium term and the long term. The study is focused on uncovering: 1) how the concept of marketing planning in the new protege program at MIMA 01 KH. Shiddiq Jember of lesson 2018/2019? 2) how is marketing performed in the new education program at MIMA 01 KH. Shiddiq Jember lesson 2018/2019? 3) how are contributing factors and marketing constraints in the new advanced education program at MIMA 01 KH. Shiddiq Jember of 2018/2019? The research approach employs a qualitative approach. Data collection uses observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis uses the Miles, Huberman and Saldana’s interactive model analysis techniques that are data collecting, data condensing, data presentation and deduction pullout. Data gathering techniques using participants' observations, open interviews and documentation. Verifying data results in a credibility test, which is source and method triangulation. Research results are 1) The concept of marketing strategy planning in new recruits using 4-p marketing mix: product, price, promotion, place. 2) Implementation of marketing in the new protege recruits using market identification, market segmentation and positioning. 3) The marketing factor of developing trust in people and marketing challenges is that the society's lack of access to media information.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools, also known as pesantren, as educational institutions are required to revitalize and renew its nature to survive in this modern era. Islamic boarding schools are currently dealing with the modernization flow marked by the rapid pace of changes within informational technology. Therefore, Islamic boarding schools need to change the format, form, orientation, and methods of education without changing the vision, mission, and orientation of the pesantren itself. Among those aspects, the curriculum is the one that needs to be continuously updated. This research focuses on the response of the pesantren's curriculum adaptation efforts to face modernization. One of the Islamic boarding schools that have implemented curriculum modernization is the Madinatul Ulum Islamic Boarding School Cangkring, Jenggawah, in Jember. The method used in this study was descriptive qualitative by implementing a case study approach. The results of this study suggest that Madinatul Ulum Islamic Boarding School Cangkring Jenggawah has sought to modernize its curriculum development. Some of the efforts made are; first, planning which is carried out with accurate considerations of several elements such as philosophical foundations, materials, learning management, teacher training, and learning systems. Second, the implementation was done by combining modern and traditional methods. Third, the evaluation was carried out through educative, instructional, diagnostic, and administrative. Pesantren sebagai lembaga pendidikan diharuskan mengadakan revitalisasi dan pembaharuan guna bertahan di era modern. Dalam perkembangan zaman, pesantren saat ini berhadapan dengan arus modernisasi yang ditandai dengan cepatnya laju informasi dan teknologi. Karena itu, pesantren harus melakukan perubahan format, bentuk, orientasi dan metode pendidikan dengan catatan tidak sampai merubah visi, misi dan orientasi pesantren. Diantara yang secara signifikan terus diperbaharui adalah kurikululum. Penelitian ini menfokuskan pada proses responupaya adaptasi kurikulum pesantren dalam menghadapi arus modernisasi. Salah satu pesantren yang sudah menerapkan modernisasi kurikulum yakni Pondok Pesantren Madinatul Ulum Cangkring Kecamatan Jenggawah Kabupaten Jember. Metode yang dipakai adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Berdasarkan kajian yang dilakukan, temuannya dapat dikonklusikan bahwa kurikulum di Pesantren Madinatul Ulum Cangkring Jenggawah telah mengupayakan modernisasi pengembangan kurikulum. Beberapa diantaranya adalah dengan beberapa langkah pertama, perencanaan dilakukan dengan pertimbangan akurat pada beberapa element seperti dasar filosopis, materi, manajemen pembelajaran, pelatihan guru, dan sistem pembelajaran. Kedua, pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan memadukan metode modern dan tradisional. Ketiga, evalusi dilakukan dengan edukatif, intruksioal, diagnosis dan adiministratif.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the Malaysian Islamic secondary school (SMA) leaders’ leadership challenges. To respond to the study aim, a qualitative method using interview was applied to seven leaders of Islamic Secondary Schools. The informers were selected based on some criteria such as the length of service as a leader and leadership knowledge. The data that were analysed using thematic analysis reported seven challenges of Malaysian Islamic secondary school leaders’ leadership, namely: (i) lack of knowledge, in particular, the field of school management such as finance, IT, asset, data and information, (ii) lack of management skill to figure out conflicts regarding incentive differences among senior and novice teachers, (iii) lack of collaboration among stakeholders, (iv) need to allocate more finance for the competency development programme such as enhancing novice teachers’ pedagogical skills, (v) Inadequate planning of valuable programme for students residing in hostel, (vi) less concern to support some Ministry of Education’s policies, and (vii) less concern on the changing environment, in particular, the field of pedagogical changes for the post of COVID-19 pandemic. The implication of this study is to be aware for the educational stakeholders, in particular, the school leaders, to take into account this study findings in order to make self-improvement for enhancing the students learning and school achievement

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini diadakan atas permasalahan penanaman nilai-nilai moderasi beragama pada karakter peserta didik di SDN 4 Siliragung Banyuwangi. Peneliti berinisiatif untuk mencari data bagaimana peran sekolah dan guru menanamkan nilai moderasi pada peserta didik di sekolah tersebut. Pada penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode penlitian kualitatif dengan alat pengumpul data berupa wawancara dan dokumentasi, Adapun subjek penelitian pada penelitian ini yaitu seluruh elemen yang terdapat pada SDN 4 Siliragung. Hasil Penelitian ini yaitu Pertama, penekanan pada nasionalisme kebangsaan melalui kegiatan upacara bendera dan nyanyian lagu wajib menjadi elemen penting dalam pembentukan karakter siswa. Kedua, nilai toleransi dihadapkan pada kesulitan dalam lingkungan anak-anak SDN 4 Siliragung, terutama terkait dengan perbedaan prestasi dan kemampuan. Ketiga, penanganan permasalahan bullying menjadi perhatian serius, baik dari segi fisik maupun psikologis. Keempat, menginternalisasi sikap akomodatif terhadap kebudayaan lokal melibatkan upaya guru dalam memberikan pemahaman tentang keberagaman budaya IndonesiaKata kunci: Moderasi Beragama, Nilai-nilai, Karakter                                                                   AbstractThis research is conducted to address the issue of instilling religious moderation values in the character of students at SDN 4 Siliragung, Banyuwangi. The researcher took the initiative to gather data on how the school and teachers play a role in instilling moderation values in the students at the school. This qualitative research employed interview and documentation as data collection methods, with the subjects being all elements present at SDN 4 Siliragung. The results of this study are as follows: First, an emphasis on nationalistic values through flag-raising ceremonies and singing national anthems is a crucial element in shaping students' characters. Second, the value of tolerance faces challenges in the environment of SDN 4 Siliragung's children, especially regarding differences in achievements and abilities. Third, addressing bullying issues is a serious concern, both physically and psychologically. Fourth, internalizing an accommodative attitude toward local culture involves the efforts of teachers in providing an understanding of Indonesia's cultural diversity.Keywords: Religious Moderation, Values, Character

Abstract

The fast change requires the ability of Islamic boarding schools to respond fast, rightly, and adaptively. Using qualitative phenomenology, this study tries to see the changes faced by the Islamic Boarding School of Nurul Islam Jember. The result of this study is that the adaptation of changes is made by the model of safeguarding and conserving the positive local values (localities) and is helpful for the Islamic boarding school. As an agent of change, the Islamic boarding school of Nurul Islam participates in society’s change actively. Besides that, the canceling of personality is to prepare santri to have the religious and nonreligion knowledge to be an Islamic human who can apply their knowledge. The personality built by the Islamic boarding school of Nurul Islam can face and respond to the changes without ignoring morals (Akhlaq). The Islamic boarding school of Nurul Islam tries to integrate the formal and Islamic boarding school systems to build capable generations. The Islamic boarding school with soft skills and the formal school with life skills will be the solution to adaptive education in the era of changes.
