Abstract

Developing relevant learning media and learning resources in the classroom can optimize the learning process. For teachers, media helps concretize concepts or ideas and helps motivate active learning participants. For students, media can be a bridge for critical thinking and action. This training activity provides an opportunity for teachers to understand how to create Canva-based learning media. Participants in this activity were 15 teachers at the Cendana Abadi educational foundation at the primary and secondary education unit levels. The results achieved were that all teachers were able to understand and create Canva-based learning media.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to increase students' learning motivation on the material of the respiratory system in the human body through a problem-based learning model in class V of GMIT Kuanino 3 Elementary School in Kupang city. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) conducted in two cycles, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research were the fifth-grade students of GMIT Kuanino 3 elementary school in Kupang city which amounted to 20 people. The data collection techniques used were observation and learning motivation tests. The data analysis techniques used is descriptive quantitative and qualitative. cycle (I) the results of teacher activity analysis reached 61.11%, student activity analysis at 45.83%, and student learning motivation questionnaire 40%. In cycle (2) teacher activity analysis 93.05%, student activity analysis 81.25% student learning motivation questionnaire 95% The results of this study indicate that the use of problem-based learning (PBL) model can increase the learning motivation of fifth-grade students of SD GMIT Kuanino 3 kupang city.

Abstract

Kurikulum merupakan komponen penting dalam sistem pendidikan. Kurikulum yang akan dilibatkan dalam pendidikan ialah kurikulum merdeka, bersamaan dengan teknik pembuatan modul ajar. Perlunya kegiatan pendampingan ini dilaksanakan untuk mengatasi masalah yang dihadapi oleh mitra, yakni para guru di Kabupaten Belu yang belum memahami konsep kurikulum merdeka dan teknik pembuatan modul ajar berbasis kurikulum merdeka. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan ialah melakukan studi pendahuluan, sosialisasi, dan pelatihan. Adapun dengan menggunakan metode melakukan studi pendahuluan untuk mengetahui masalah yang dihadapi oleh mitra. Selanjutnya, metode sosialisasi dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah dan Tim Kurikulum Sekolah serta Tim Pengabdian Masyakarat, dan diadakannya pembuatan modul bahan ajar dengan memaparkan teori terkait kurikulum merdeka dan modul ajar kurikulum merdeka dalam menggunakan metode pelatihan. Melalui tiga metode tersebut, kegiatan yang dilaksanakan ialah menyebarkan pemahaman mengenai kurikulum merdeka dan pembuatan modul ajar. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan selama kegiatan pendampingan, menunjukkan bahwa semua peserta sudah memahami konsep kurikulum merdeka dan teknik menyusun modul ajar berbasis kurikulum merdeka.

Abstract

This research is motivated by changes in the learning process due to the Covid-19 pandemic where the learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic uses online learning and post-covid-19 learning again uses the face-to-face (offline) learning process, where these two learning processes affect student learning motivation. The purpose of this study is to find out the picture of learning motivation during online learning, offline learning and comparing student learning motivation during online learning and offline learning. This research was conducted on students of Citra Bangsa Kupang Junior High School using a causal-comparative type of research. This research is an ex post facto type of research, which is research on data collected after a fact or event occurs. The population in this study were students of class VIII of SMP Citra Bangsa Kupang. The data sources used in this study are pimer data and secondary data, with data collection techniques using learning motivation questionnaire sheets. After getting all the data, the next step is to draw conclusions from this study by analyzing the data. The technique used to analyze this research is descriptive quantitative. The results of the research obtained are that student learning motivation during online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic is in the moderate category with an average score of 64. Student learning motivation during offline learning after the COVID-19 pandemic is in the high category with an average score of 82.4. There are differences in student learning motivation in participating in the online and offline learning process where student learning motivation during offline learning is higher than student learning motivation during online learning.

Abstract

The main problem faced by the partner, SMA Negeri 10 Bandar Lampung, was the absence of a technology-based security system and the low level of technological literacy among students. To address these issues, a community service program was conducted through training and implementation of an embedded system focused on designing and applying a microcontroller-based doorlock security device. The activity employed several stages, including observation, interactive training, hands-on practice, and evaluation. The program was carried out over three months with five visits, involving 30 participants consisting of teachers and students. The results showed a significant improvement in participants’ knowledge, with an average increase of 51.26%, and an active participation rate reaching 95%. Furthermore, the developed security device functioned properly and was successfully implemented in one of the school’s rooms. This activity not only enhanced school security but also fostered awareness of the importance of technology utilization in education, supporting the development of digital literacy and 21st-century skills among the participants.
