Abstract

Tapes, radio, laudspeakers, TV, and VCDs are all sources of organized and controlled sound. However, if this regular and controlled sound emits a sound that exceeds the desired sound level threshold and declared as noise that causes disturbances to human health, especially the sense of hearing. Hearing apparatus, namely the ear functions as a phonoreceptor capable of responding to sounds in the range 0 - 75 dB without causing pain. The frequency to which the human ear can respond is between 20 - 20,000 Hz and is very sensitive to frequencies between 1000 Hz - 4000 Hz. This study aims to determine how much the measured sound intensity level of the music sound at the Sinta Pub Maumere Bar and determine the degree of music sound intensity level at the Sinta Pub Maumere Bar at the measuring point of the sound source. This research was conducted at the Sinta Pub Maumere Bar using observation and experimental methods. The results showed the measured level of music sound intensity ranged from 103.12 dB. The highest level of sound produced is 110.6 dB and the lowest music sound intensity level produced is 92.4 dB. Based on the measurement results, the music sound intensity level at the Sinta Pub Maumere Bar has a different value. This shows that there is a difference measuring levelat the position of the distance from the sound source to the intensity level of the resulting music sound.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic that has hit Indonesia has had a very significant impact on all aspects of people's lives. COVID-19 (corona virus disease 19) is an infectious disease caused by a respiratory infection. Some of the efforts made by the government include large-scale and micro-scale social restrictions so that the government carries out socialization. Socialization is an effort to accommodate and provide information related to our goals and objectives, socialization is carried out as an effort to provide information to the public. With this information, the public no longer hesitates to carry out the COVID-19 vaccination. This outreach activity is carried out through social media. And for the provision of interfaith COVID-19 Vaccination held on the campus of IKIP Muhammadiyah Maumere, the aim is to increase the body's immunity by activating antibodies in the body so that it can reduce the impact of the transmission of COVID-19 disease and as an effort to stop the spread of COVID-19. The COVID-19 vaccination activity involves health workers, volunteers, elements of the TNI and Polri, the COVID-19 Task Force and the general public. The reason for being vaccinated is to support the government's program in the priority of COVID-19 vaccination targets, to help the government which is struggling to deal with COVID-19 in the country. This community service activity, which was recorded at the IKIP Muhammadiyah Maumere Campus, obtained 95% of the vaccination target had been achieved in the first dose of vaccination. In the 2nd dose of vaccination, the achievement of vaccination was only 80% of the target. So that the results of the activity showed that there was an increase in participants' knowledge about the effectiveness of the Covid-19 vaccine, and there was a change in participants' attitudes about their readiness to get the Covid-19 vaccination from unwilling and hesitant to willing. Abstrak Pandemic COVID-19 yang telah melanda Indonesia menimbulkan dampak yang sangat signifikan pada seluruh aspek kehidupan masyarakat. COVID-19 (corona virus disease 19) yaitu penyakit menular yang dimana disebabkan oleh infeksi saluran pernapasan. Beberapa upaya dilakukan pemerintah meliputi pembatasan sosial skala besar dan skala mikro sehingga pemerintah melakukan sosialisasi. Sosialisasi merupakan salah satu upaya untuk mengakomodir dan memberikan informasi terkait dengan maksud dan tujuan kita, sosialisasi di lakukan sebagai bentuk upaya memberikan informasi kepada khalayak. Dengan adanya informasi tersebut masyarakat tidak lagi ragu untuk melaksanakan vaksinasi COVID-19. Kegiatan sosialisasi ini dilakukan melalui media sosial. Dan untuk pemberian Vaksinasi COVID-19 lintas Agama diselenggarakan di halaman Kampus IKIP Muhammadiyah Maumere bertujuan untuk meningkatkan imunitas tubuh dengan mengaktifkan antibodi dalam tubuh supaya dapat mengurangi dampak dari penularan Penyakit COVID-19 dan sebagai upaya memutus penyebaran penyakit COVID-19. Kegiatan pemberian vaksinasi COVID-19 melibatkan tenaga kesehatan, relawan, unsur TNI dan Polri, Satuan Tugas COVID-19 dan masyarakat umum. Alasan diberikan vaksinisasi adalah mendukung program pemerintah dalam prioritas sasaran vaksinasi COVID-19, membantu pemerintah yang tengah berjuang menangani COVID-19 di Tanah air. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini yang tercatat di Kampus IKIP Muhammadiyah Maumere diperoleh 95% dari target vaksinasi sudah tercapai di vaksinasi dosis pertama. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of flight activity noise intensity on student learning concentration. This study involved 48 students (male = 24 and female = 24) who were randomly selected in the Islamic elementary school Waioti, Maumere. The intensity of flight activity noise during classroom learning activities is measured using a Sound Level Meter (SLM), and students' concentration levels were measured using a 5-level Likert scale learning concentration questionnaire. The effect of flight noise intensity on student learning concentration was determined using linear regression analysis. The results showed that the noise level due to flight activities in the Waioti Islamic Elementary School was 58.92 dB, exceeding the set threshold value. The intensity level of students' learning concentration disorders reached 71.43%, including frequent disturbance. The level of flight activity noise significantly affects student learning concentration with the regression model: Y = 49.972 + 0.834X with R2 of 0.635.

Abstract

Belajar fisika menggunakan media dapat membantu peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Salah satu media yang digunakan untuk melakukan kegiatan penyelidikan atau pemecahan masalah adalah LKPD. Dengan menggunakan LKPD, peserta didik lebih mudah dalam memahami konsep-konsep fisika serta dapat mempermudah guru untuk menjelaskan konsep-konsep fisika tersebut. Hubungan sinergi yang saling memperkuat yang dimiliki pemahaman konsep dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Dengan kemampuan berpikir yang baik, peserta didik  akan terbiasa dalam memecahkan masalah yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan sehari-harinya. Strategi tersebut memerlukan inovasi dan kreativitas, sehingga untuk membantu peserta didik memahami suatu materi pembelajaran. Salah satu aplikasi yang digunakan yaitu aplikasi Phypox. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKPD fisika menyenangkan dengan aplikasi phypox untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik. Tipe penelitian yang digunakan  yaitu pengembangan (R&D) yang mengacu mode 4D yaitu: Define, Design, Development, and Dessiminat. Hasil penelitian menujukan bahwa LKPD menyenangkan dengan aplikasi phypox untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik layak dipakai dengan nilai standar Gain sebesar 0,41 dengan kategori sedang

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether or not using the phyphox application affects student learning outcomes in terms of prior knowledge and student responses. This research was conducted in high school, using a quasi-experimental research method (quasi-experimental). The design model of this research was pre-test and post-test using a randomized design by giving an initial test before learning and a final test after learning. In this study, two classes were involved as representatives of the experimental class, given the behavior of learning hypothetical deductive thinking strategies using Phyphox media. In contrast, the control class was used as a comparison of Phyphox tools. The results showed that the experimental class students' learning outcomes were superior to those of the control class. It is shown in the comparison data of the N-Gain value and the results of hypothesis testing. Several covariate parameters also support this research. The percentage change in the practical contribution's value and each parameter's relative contributions shows that the test has improved.

Abstract

This study aims to develop STEM-integrated LKPD in order to train students' critical thinking skills on Newton's law of gravity material so that it is feasible to use. The feasibility of LKPD is seen from the validity, practicality and data n-gain index. The research method used is a 4-D development model consisting of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate, but in this study it only reached the develop stage. The validity of LKPD is seen from completeness, content, presentation and language. Practicality can be seen from the responses and activities of students when learning using LKPD. This effectiveness can be seen from the increase in the test results of students' critical thinking skills which were tested limited to 28 students. Research data were analyzed in a quantitative descriptive manner. The results of the validity of LKPD are stated to be very valid with a percentage of 88.9%. LKPD is stated to be very practical with a percentage of 90%. The results of increasing critical thinking skills are expressed by an average n-gain score of 0.61 in the Medium category. From the results of the validity, practicality and n-gain index data, the LKPD developed is feasible to use.

Abstract

This study seeks to determine whether the clustering method can be used to analyze Flores Sea earthquake activity. In this investigation, the BMKG Repo serves as the source for real earthquake vibration data collection. The stages of this research include preparing the data in CSV format and then preparing the data to eliminate useless data by identifying missing data. On the basis of the research data, it was determined that the K-Means and DBSCAN methods are used to determine the clustering method for analyzing earthquake activity. In addition, the data is depicted using a graphical Elbow method so that we can determine the number of clusters of aftershocks in the Flores Sea. The results of the visualization of aftershocks that followed earthquakes in the Flores Sea between 2019 and 2022 revealed three distinct groups of earthquake source depths: 33 to 70 kilometers, 150 to 300 kilometers, and 500 to 800 kilometers. In terms of the shilhoute index parameter, the K-Means algorithm is preferable to the DBSCAN algorithm when clustering results are used to analyze earthquake activity.

Abstract

Penelitian yang terkait pemanfaatan media simulasi komputer sangat menarik dalam pembelajaran fisika karena dapat memvisualisasikan konsep – konsep fisika baik dalam bentuk grafik maupun tabel. Salah satu media simulasi yang dapat digunakan adalah geogebra. Tumbukan atau lentingan antar partikel dapat juga disebut sebagai pantulan karena terjadi antar dua benda yang saling berpadu dan memantul akibat dari adanya pantulan tersebut. Peristiwa tumbukan antara dua benda dapat menyebabkan benda saling menjauh, atau saling berpadu dan bergerak dengan kecepatan yang sama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan gambaran simulasi dari benda yang bertumbukan. Metode yang digunakan merupakan desain pemodelan grafik. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa geogebra dapat mempermudah pemahaman konsep-konsep fisika terkait tumbukan  seperti hukum kekekalan momentum, energi kinetik, dan koefisien restitusi melalui visualisasi yang interaktif. Selain itu, siswa dapat mengamati perubahan dalam kecepatan, lintasan, dan energi sebelum dan setelah tumbukan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze sky brightness dynamics during a hybrid solar eclipse using the Sky Quality Meter (SQM). Strategic observation sites were selected along the eclipse path, and continuous data collection was conducted using the SQM-LU-DL, telescopes, weather stations, and GPS for accurate location and atmospheric data. Measurements began several days before the eclipse and continued throughout and after the event. Data collected included sky brightness, visual documentation, and atmospheric conditions, which were analyzed using GnuPlot to detect trends and patterns in brightness changes. The study revealed significant fluctuations in temperature and light frequency, with a sharp decrease at the eclipse's peak, followed by a return to normal levels. These findings emphasize the eclipse's impact on natural light intensity and highlight the importance of addressing light pollution. The study contributes to understanding astronomical phenomena's effects on the environment and human health, aiding in the development of effective light pollution mitigation strategies.

Abstract

The research conducted involves a study of the physics concepts that can be found in the movements of the Bonet dance. The focus of this research is to position the Bonet dance in different contexts according to the philosophy of the dance, relating it to the physics concepts within the dance movements. This study is qualitative in nature, using descriptive qualitative methods. The data sources consist of literature review and documentation. The results of the research show that physics concepts have been identified in the basic movements of the Bonet dance. Some of the physics concepts found in the movements of the Bonet dance include frictional force, equilibrium, momentum, inertia, and torque. This demonstrates that culture can be used to explain or illustrate physics concepts. Thus, the Bonet dance of the Dawan tribe can be used as a learning resource for students in physics classes.
