Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  (1) mengetahui perbedaan motivasi belajar IPA Biologi antara yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dan yang diajar dengan pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Barebbo Kabupaten Bone tahun ajaran 2015/2016, (2) mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPA Biologi antara yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dan yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas  VII SMP Negeri 3 Barebbo Kabupaten Bone tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experiment). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas  VII SMP Negeri 3 Barebbo.Penelitian ini dilakukan pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1)Terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar antara siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajan kooperatife tipe STAD dengan pembelajaran konvensional (2)Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar Biologi antara siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatife tipe STAD dengan pembelajaran konvensional.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran tentang motivasi berprestasi siswa untuk belajar Biologi di Kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 8 Makassar. Sample penelitian ini adalah siswa Kelas XI IPA 3 dan  XI IPA 4 SMA 8 Makassar semester genap tahun ajaran 2011/2012 yang berjumlah 80 orang yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Data yang diperoleh dari instrument penelitian merupakan angket model rating scale dengan rentang nilai 1-5 untuk mengukur nilai motivasi berprestasi siswa. Data yang telah diperoleh selanjutnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata nilai motivasi berprestasi siswa untuk belajar biologi sebesar 124.44 (tinggi) berdasarkan skala kategori motivasi berprestasi.

Abstract

. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh pemberian suplemen zat Besi (Fe) terhadap kandungan kadar Ferritin atlet wanita. Sampel Penelitian adalah atlet wanita binaan KONI Propinsi Sulawesi Selatan sebanyak 30 orang. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan The one-group Pre-posttest Design, dan hasil pengukuran pre dan post test dibandingkan untuk melihat perbedaan nilai variabel setelah intervensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Kadar Ferritin serum atlet wanita sebelum periode menstruasi mengalami penurunan dari rerata 70.89 ng/mL menjadi rerata 63.14 ng/mL saat menstruasi, tetapi masih termasuk dalam kategori normal. Pemberian atau suplementasi kapsul Fe berpengaruh secara bermakna terhadap perubahan kadar Ferritin serum saat menstruasi, yakni tetap menjaga kadar ferritin serum darah dalam batas normal, sehingga kondisi atlet tetap dapat melanjutkan latihan tanpa mengganggu kinerja atlet.

Abstract

Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktiftas belajar siswa melalui penerapan pembelajaran kolaboratif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas XI IPA 3 SMA Negeri 8 Makassar, sebanyak dua siklus atau dua kali pertemuan (4 x 45 menit), pada topik sistem peredaran darah. Dari data hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa, tahapan pembelajaran kolaboratif yang diterapkan telah berhasil meningkatkan aktifitas belajar siswa. Hal ini dikarenakan, seluruh tahapan kegiatan pembelajaran sangat menekankan pada keterlibatan siswa dari awal sampai akhir pembelajaran. Disamping itu, guru memposisikan diri sebagai fasilitator dan pendamping yang baik bagi aktifitas belajar siswa. Pelaksanaan lesson study selama penelitian, juga telah mempererat kolegalitas antara tim LS, membentuk mutual learning (saling belajar), dan meningkatkan profesional guru sebagai pendidik dan pengajar.

Abstract

Impaired Glucose Tolerance (IGT) is defined as an early phase of Diabetic Type-2 process. IGT shows an occurance of early phase of Diabetic and asymptomatic. The prevalence is increased in accordance to poor or unhealthy lifestyle such as over consuming of carbohydrate and lack of physical excercises. The aim of the study was to analyze the correlation between lifestyle and individual with obesity, obesity and pre-diabetic, and lifestyle with pre-diabetic.The study was conducted at the Kassi-Kassi Public Health Center in Makassar from May to July 2009. The study was a case control study. The number of samples was 54 people selected by purposive sampling. The sampling were divided into 27 pre-diabetic individuals and 27 individuals with normal blood glucose. The data were collected through structured interview and questionnaire. The measurement of height, weight, waist circumference, blood pressure, and blood samples was done twice after fasting 12 hours for fasting blood glucose and oral glucose tolerance test. The data were analyzed by using univariate, bivariate with chi square, and independet t-tes and Mann-Whitney test. The result of the study indicate that lifestyle has a role in the incident of pre-diabetic in which p = 0,021.Lifestyle has been proved affecting pre-diabetic event trought obesity. This research shows a correlation between lifestyle and obesity, and also connection between obesity and pre-diabetic incident.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the comparison learning outcomes digestive system material in reciprocal teaching learning model used game smart case with not used game smart case students SMA Negeri 1 Barru. The sample in this research is the students of class XI MIA 4 as experiment class 1 and class XI MIA 7 as experiment class 2 which amounts to 70 students obtained by using simple purposive sampling technique. This research uses quasi experimental research design pretest-posttest non equivalen comparison group design. The cognitive learning outcomes were measured using a multiple choice test of 30 numbers and a description test of 5 numbers on the dietary material of the digestive system. The data obtained were analyzed by descriptive statistic and inferential statistic using paired sample anacova test with significance level 0,05. The result of t test statistic for students' cognitive learning result is 0,004 means Ho is rejected and H1 accepted so that it can be concluded that there is a comparison learning outcomes digestive system material in reciprocal teaching learning model used game smart case with not used game smart case students.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive study that aimed to provide information of (1) percentage of students’misconceptions, not understanding the concept, and understanding the concept (2) factors causingmisconception (3) sub-concept with the highest misconception on concept of genetic substance using three tiertest. Population in this research is all student of class XII SMAN 2 Makassar, sample of research is student ofclass XII IPA 1 counted 35 people. The instrument used is three tier test which amounts to 25 items. Data wereanalyzed descriptively by using the category made by Pesman and Eryilmaz to determine students’understanding. Students were observed and interviewed to obtain data about factors that caused misconception.The result of data analysis of three tier test showed that 29.94% experienced misconception, 42.29% do notunderstand concept, and 27.77% understand concept. The highest percentage of students’ misconceptions isfound in the gene and allele sub concept by 57.15%. Factors that causing misconception are student that havewrong reasoning due to incomplete information, lack of interest in learning certain concept, the absence ofteacher confirmation after learning process, teacher that describing concept too fast, and text book that used inlearning process contain several misinformation.
