Abstract

The problem of low family financial literacy among productive communities, particularly cooperative members, remains a challenge in efforts to achieve sustainable household prosperity. This activity aims to improve family financial management skills by optimizing the use of the Android-based Money Manager application. The activity partners were members of the Buwana Karya Kendal Multipurpose Cooperative (KSU), the majority of whom were unfamiliar with financial record-keeping or using digital financial applications. The implementation method included initial observations and surveys, program outreach, and hands-on training on the use of the Money Manager application. The results revealed that most participants showed significant improvement in their understanding and ability to record income and expenses, prepare household budgets, and interpret digital financial reports autonomously. This program has proven effective in encouraging the transformation of family financial management habits from manual to digital, positively impacting financial awareness and efforts to improve family welfare.

Abstract

Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) memiliki peran strategis dalam menggerakkan ekonomi desa, namun seringkali terkendala oleh lemahnya tata kelola keuangan dan kurangnya inovasi unit usaha. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat tata kelola keuangan BUMDes berbasis literasi keuangan sekaligus mewujudkan ketahanan pangan desa melalui inkubasi bisnis pertanian melon modern (hidroponik/greenhouse). Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pelatihan literasi keuangan, pendampingan penyusunan laporan keuangan digital, serta pelatihan teknis dan manajemen bisnis budidaya melon modern. Hasil PKM menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman pengelola BUMDes dalam pencatatan keuangan sebesar 80%, terbentuknya unit usaha pertanian melon modern yang produktif, serta terciptanya sistem tata kelola keuangan yang lebih transparan dan akuntabel. Program inkubasi ini berhasil mengintegrasikan aspek edukasi finansial dan inovasi pertanian guna mendukung ketahanan pangan berkelanjutan

Abstract

Graduates of Vocational High Schools (SMK) are expected to possess a high level of work readiness to compete effectively in the industrial sector. A persistent issue is students' limited ability to plan their careers systematically, which results in suboptimal readiness to enter the workforce. This Community Service (PkM) activity aimed to enhance students' understanding of career mapping strategies as a foundation for developing career plans. The activity was conducted on April 24, 2026, at SMK NU 01 Kendal, utilizing a combination of lectures, discussions, practical career map creation, simulations, and evaluations via pre-tests and post-tests. Forty students participated in the event. Evaluation results showed an increase in the average score from 61.8 in the pre-test to 86.4 in the post-test. Furthermore, participants were able to construct career maps aligned with their interests, competencies, and professional goals. The activity demonstrates that career mapping training can improve students' understanding of career planning and strengthen their work readiness.
