Abstract

PT. Pindo Deli Pulp and Paper Tbk is an industry in the field of paper and tissue production. The processing system is one of the factors influencing production results. Maintenance measures must be an important concern. Based on observations and looking at data on machine maintenance costs, it is known that the largest cost incurred by the company in carrying out JRT machine maintenance is IDR 256,000,000, which if it continues will be detrimental to the company. To minimize expenses and optimize component performance, it is necessary to analyze maintenance/replacement policies using the Age Replacement method. One component that is experiencing quite large costs is Unwinder 1, which will be determined by scheduling replacement and maintenance using Age Replacement. Based on the results of data processing using Age Replacement, a replacement schedule for Unwinder 1 components was obtained, namely 10 months with cost savings of IDR 248,444

Abstract

This study explains the redesign of the vendor layout at Panam Market in Pekanbaru using the association rules – market basket analysis method. The research aims to determine consumer shopping behavior patterns and to reorganize the vendor layout at Panam Market Pekanbaru. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the reorganization of the vendor layout at Panam Market Pekanbaru was carried out based on the calculation of the support factor with a minimum value of 3% and the confidence value with a minimum of 60%. From the data processing results using the RapidMiner application, it was found that several vendor stalls in the market need to be positioned closer to each other based on the level of association, categorized as absolutely related, very important, fairly important, neutral, unimportant, and very unimportant.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan menguji sistem kemudi mobil hemat energi berbasis etanol yang ergonomis, ringan, dan efisien untuk kompetisi. Sistem kemudi dirancang berdasarkan prinsip geometri Ackermann dengan menggunakan aplikasi SolidWorks, perhitungan teoritis radius putar 5,11 meter, sudut belok roda bagian dalam 17,7°, dan roda bagian luar 14,7°. Hasil pengujian lapangan menunjukkan radius putar aktual sebesar 5,34 meter (kanan) dan 5,35 meter (kiri), masih berada di bawah batas maksimal 6 meter sesuai regulasi. Sudut belok roda depan terukur mencapai 18° (dalam) dan 14,5° (luar), sesuai dengan prinsip Ackermann yang menjamin efisiensi belok. Sistem terbukti responsif, ringan dalam pengoperasian, minim getaran, dan mampu menahan beban dinamis secara optimal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desain kemudi yang terintegrasi dengan prinsip ergonomi dan efisiensi energi secara keseluruhan memenuhi standar kompetisi, menawarkan performa yang andal dan nyaman. Temuan ini dapat menjadi acuan dalam pengembangan kendaraan hemat energi berbasis etanol untuk kebutuhan kompetitif di masa depan.
