Abstract

Untuk meningkatkan produktivitas kerja pegawai diperlukan suatu dorongan dari pimpinan agar para karyawan mau meningkatkan kerjanya supaya produktivitas kerjanya meningkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) motivasi kerja pegawai, (2) produktivitas kerja pegawai, (3) kaitan motivasi kerja dan produktivitas kerja pegawai Fakultas Dakwah IAIN Ar-Raniry. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian Wakil Dekan II, Kepala Bagian Tata Usaha dan Kepala Sub Bagian Kepegawaian & Keuangan dan Pegawai yang tidak menduduki jabatan struktural pada Fakultas Dakwah IAIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. Teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Teknis analisis data dengan cara (1) mereduksi data.(2) menyajikan data. (3) menarik kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) bentuk motivasi kerja yang diterapkan: a) pandangan orientasi, b) mengadakan pengawasaan, c) menciptakan komunikasi yang baik, d) memberikan insentif kepada pegawai dalam bentuk insentif finansial maupun insentif non finansial. (2) produktivitas kerja pegawai perlu ditingkatkan dengan cara: a) memberikan kesempatan seluas-luasnya kepada setiap pegawai untuk mengikuti pelatihan-pelatihan yang sesuai dengan bidang pekerjaannya, b) pembagian job kerja masing-masing staf menurut keterampilan pegawai itu sendiri, c) menempatkan pegawai pada posisi pekerjaan yang tepat, d) memberikan penghargaan kepada pegawai berkinerja yang baik dan memberikan hukuman kepada pegawai yang tidak berkinerja baik. (3) kaitan motivasi kerja pegawai Fakultas Dakwah IAIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh dalam meningkatkan produktivitas kerja melalui manajemen kepemimpinan yang baik. Abstract

Elderly is very susceptible to various diseases; therefore, elderly can be in perfect health if they are able to maintain optimum nutritional status and consume nutritious and varied foods. The aim of the research was to know the description of food consumption behavior and nutritional status of the elderly at Kelurahan Pekan Tanjung Pura, Tanjung Pura Subdistrict, Langkat District, in 2012. The research was descriptive with cross sectional design. The population was 607 elderly who were around 60 years old. The sample is using inclusive criteria with non-dementia criteria, did not lie down on the bed because of illness and were still able to stretch out their hand, obtained the sample of 108 people. The data were gathered by conducting interviews with questionnaires and food frequency forms. The result of the research showed that the respondents’ knowledge and attitude about consuming food was in the category of moderate, their eating pattern was in the category of good (83,3%), and their nutritional status was in the category of normal (47,2%). Some of them were in the category of more nutrition (20,4%), some of them were in the category of  malnutrition (19,4%), and some of them were in the category of obesity (13,0%). It is recommended that elderly should be treated more properly through posyandu (integrated service post) by providing counseling and health promotion. Abstract

The first two year  old is a golden period so that the nutritional needs in this period should really be noted to optimize the brain development. A child’s future will be reflected by the nutritional intake in the first 2 years. If the nourishment is good today, the nutritional status will be good too in the next days and if this time, the nutritional needs are not fulfilled, it will be difficult to substitute the missing nutritional needs during the coming.The objective of this study is to describe the behaviors of farmer women in toddlers’ nourishment at Desa Bangko Bakti Sub-district of Bangko Pusako Regency of Rokan Hilir in 2012. This is a descriptive study using a cross sectional study design. The primary data was obtained by giving questionnaire interviews, 24-hour food recalls and food frequencies, the secondary data was obtained from the village head’s office. Sampling was done by purposive sampling with criteria: toddlers taken to the farm by their parents.The results showed that the women who have a good knowledge but have not been able to comply their toddlers’ nutritional needs in terms of 72.7% energy is due to the toddlers would not eat and the mothers would not persuade. The women with moderate knowledge have been able to meet the nutritional needs of their toddlers in case of 73.6% protein is because they provide eggs as a side dish every day. The women who have a good attitude, but have not been able to fulfill their toddlers’ nutritional needs in case of energy are as much as 71.9%.Based on the research, it is suggested to held a counseling about the importance of toddler’s nourishment, especially energy and protein and to the farmer women, it is suggested to be more concerned with the quantities and qualities of food given to their toddlers, they could also consume other kinds of food as the energy sources to substitute the prior foods such as refined flours, sweet potatoes, and sago. Abstract

Young primigravida means the first pregnancy in young age under 20 years old. The readiness of a woman to have pregnancy depends on physical, mental, emotion, psychological, social and economy preparation. A woman is called physically ready for pregnancy after completing its growth time with the age around 20 years old. The pregnancy in young age can be categorized as high risk because it is included in one of the frequent pregnants, close pregnancy, too old and too young for high morbidity leading into various complication in pregnancy and delivery. The objective of this research is to know nutrition behavior young primigravida in Health Centre of Tanah Tinggi Binjai City in 2012. This research was descriptive with cross sectional design. The population were all pregnant women for the first time under 20 years old for 36 persons in Health Centre of Tanah Tinggi Binjai City in 2012. The collected data was analyzed using computer program, presented in frequency distribution table and analyzed descriptively. The results of research showed that 55,6%  young primigravida had low knowledge, 44,4% had  low attitude. Energy consumption rate was 44,4% in medium category,  and 47,2% was  categorized low. Based on the results of research, it can be concluded that the behavior of young primigravida was categorized low. It is suggested for Health Department Binjai City to give counseling to add the knowledge of young primigravida regarding the socialization activity for nutrient and high risk of pregnancy in young age. Abstract

The nutritional behavior of mother that consist of knowledge, attitude and action in the daily activities influence the nutrition status of the child. KADARZI is a family which have a balance nutrition behavior, understand the nutrition problem and can solve the nutrition problem for household. The study is aimed to know the relationship between  KADARZI behavior with nutritional status of the children in age of 12-59 months. This research is an analytic survey using cross sectional design. The population is all mother of children by simple random sampling as 106 people. The primary data was collected by observation and direct interview to the respondent and the secondary data from community health center and statistical data from district office of Blangkejeren. The results of this study showed that (67,9%) of the mother had medium knowledge, had good attitude (60,7%).The household had to be the KADARZI as many as (16,0%). The result of statistical test showed that significant correlation between knowledge and attitude with nutritional status of the children. That significant correlation KADARZI, continiously child weighing, to provide the exclusive breastfeeding and used of iodine salt with nutritional status of the children. The finding to do the socialization evenly about the KADARZI and the indicator of behavior to the society in order to prevent and minimize the nutrition problem for the child. Abstract

Babyhood time is as the golden period for optimal growth and development of baby. In this period, babies need to have good nutrition caring pattern such as breast feeding  and complementary feeding. This research was aimed to describe the nutritional caring pattern and the nutritional status of 6 up to 12 months infants in the poor society in the working area of Sirait Publich Health Center, Nainggolan Subdistrict, Samosir District, in 2013. This research was a descriptive survey with cross sectional approach. The population was 6 up to 12 months infants since these ages were susceptible of malnutrition. The sample  is total sampling and the respondents were the infant’s mother. Primary data include maternal identity data, the identity of the baby an infant nutrition caring pattern (breast feeding  and complementary feeding practice), obtained from interviews mothers. The infants nutritional status was obtained from the results of weighing an measuring the body’s length.The result of the research showed that the nutritional caring pattern, that is breast feeding practice, the majority was categorized as moderate and not found good breast feeding. This is because there is a lack of ASI given to babies, while the complementary feeding practise was mostly good and there is a practice of feeding with food litlle or no nutritional value. The majority of infants nutritional status, based on the indicator of weight for age was categorized as normal, but we still can find some with less weight. The majority of infants nutritional status, based on the indicator of height for age was categorized as normal. However, some babies still were short and very short. The majority of infants nutritional status, based on the indicator of weight for lenght was categorized as normal, and there were a few infants had thin. Based on the results of research, it is suggested that the management of the Healthy Center to increase the information about giving the exclusive breast feeding, how to provide and give the complementary feed, an balanced nutrition to infants.   Keywords: Nutritional Caring Pattern, Infants Nutritional Status, Poor Society

Abstract

The consumption of balance nutrition is a balance of nutrition that required by body, either qualitatively or quantitatively that consumed by a girl in each served food. In order to have a qualified human resource  by increase the nutritional status of the people include the young girl  that manifested by the daily food activities.This research is a descriptive study with cross sectional design in order to know the behavior of a teenanger in consuming the balance nutritional and nutrition status at SMAN 1 Tarutung in 2012. The behavior of balance nutrition consumption can be indicated based on knowledge, attitude and consumption pattern. The measurement is conducted by scoring method to the questionnaire with the weight that categorized in good, medium or poor, while the nutritional status can be indicated by IMT. The number of sample is 90 persons and the data  is processed manually and put into a frequency distribution table and be analyzed by descriptive method.Based on the results of study, it is concluded that the knowledge and attitude of respondent to the balance nutrition is classified into 61.1% and 51.1%. While consumption pattern of respondent on the balance nutrition  is classified into did not eat various food (62%) that prefer rice (100%), fish (78.9%), spinach (46.7%) and orange fruit (41.1%). And the nutritional status of respondent is classified normal (75.6%), thin (12.2%) and obese (10%) and very obese (2.2%).It is suggested to the principal and teacher at SMAN 1 Tarutung to optimize the health promotion by provide the socialization to the students when provide the lesson to maintain the nutrition sufficient to increase the learning achievement. Abstract

Milk hasthe most complete nutrient source and it is good for all ages including schoolchildren. School children age is in development and growth phase, hence it is necessaryto increasemilk drinking behaviour.The objective of this researchwas to know the behaviour of milk consumption of the students ofJunior High School Ar-rahman Medan in 2012.The method usedwas survey with descriptive and cross sectional approach. The samples of research were 70 students of the total 230 students. Sampletaking technique was done with proportional sampling that was by seeing the amount of the students from each class namely class VII for 21 students, class VIII for 22 students, and class IX for 27 students.The results of research showed that 85.7% of the knowledge of students were categorized good, 51.4% of the attitude of the students were categorized good, and 78.6% of the actions of the students were categorized less good.Good knowledge and attitude do not guarantee good action forever. Conversely, it may even that the action of the student was less good. It is suggested for the management of Junior High School Ar-Rahman Medanto give information and counseling regarding the consumption of milk in detail, better understanding about the type of milk and this contents. Abstract

The pattern of food consumption is a factor that has a direct impact to the nutritional status of under five children. The purpose of this research is to know the description the food comsumption pattern during the harvest and the planting seasons and nutritional status of under five children in the Lau Gunung. This research is descriptive with cross secsional design.  Taking the sampel by total sampling of 64 under five children. The results of the research showed in the planting season that energy intake was categorized good 48.4%, moderate 28.1%, low 18.8%, deficit 4,7% and when during harvest time energy intake was good categorized 68.8%, moderate 25.0%, less 6.3%. Meanwhile, intake of proteins when post harvest good category 32.8, moderate, 40.6%, less 20.3%, deficit 6.3% and when during harvest time good category 78.1%, moderate 18.8% and less 3,1%. Nutritional status for the under five children in the planting and during harvest seasons accoding by index weight for age is 78.1% and 85.9%, accoding by index height for age is 84,4% and 84,4% and accoding by index weight for height is 73.4% and 87.5%, mostly in normal category. The recommended that to the housewife noticed provision in accordance with the pattern of food menu balanced diet and to the local healthcare providers to more focus for counseling on nutrition balanced the mothers with the under five children to improving the pattern of food consumption and nutrional status of under five children.   Keywords: Alpha food pattern consumption, nutritional status, under five children, the planting, harvest

Abstract

Obesity is a condition of excess body weight due to buried fat, due to the input  calories. In addition, the nutritional behavior also contribute to an increase in body weight. Obesity can impact on workers reduced worker productivity and can also lead to degenerative diseases. This study aims to determine the nutritional behavior of obese in tobacco plantation PTPN II Kelambir V Medan 2012. Type of this research is descriptive research designs, to get an overview of food consumption patterns, physical activity and nutritional status of workers experiencing obesity in gambang (sorting tobacco) tobacco  plantation kelambir V PTPN-II. The population of the research was that obese workers gambang (sorting tobacco) as many as 25 people. The samples were taken as many as 25 people with total sampling. Data collection is done with the interview using the food recall 24-hour, food frequency form and measurement of body weight and body height. The results showed that the nutritional behavior of workers based on the frequency of eating. The vegetables are sweet leaves, the type of drink is sweet tea, and for this type of fruit is a banana fruit consumed ≤ 3 x a week. The adequacy of the level of energy in the high category 64,00 % and total consumption proteins included in the category of very high 84,00%. Workers should the obese to gambang (sorting tobacco) pay more attention to the nutritional behavior, as well as the expected extension of a nutritional officer or from the clinic.
