Abstract

Smoking is one of the unhealthy behaviour that can be harmfull and very disturbing of ourself and others around us especially for those who vulnarable groups such as children under five years. Exposure to ciggarete’s smoke affect occurance of ISPA, there where children under five who exposure cigarete’s  smoke take a high risk than unexposure cigarete’s smoke. Children under five years who got suffering Infectious disease could affected intake nutritional cannot absorbed body well so the nutritional status decreased. The aim of this research to describe nutritional status and ISPA on those household as smoker family in Desa Padang Kecamatan Kotanopan. The type of this research is descriptive with cross setional design. Total sample are 40 childeren under five years who taken from smoker family. Data was collected by interviews and questionnaires. The result showed that, nutritional status based on weight for age children under five years in Desa Padang Bulan Kecamatana Kotanopan there are (70%)  good nutrition and (30%)  malnutrition. Nutritional status based on height for age there are (82,5%) good nutrition and (17,5%) malnutrition. Nutritional status based on weight for age there are (75%) good nutritioan and (22,5%) thin. The conlusion of this research was the higher consumption smoking’s family and increasingly frequent expose of ciggarete smoke children under five years so could affected of nutrional status and ISPA of children under five years. It is Expecting of this research to parent’s children under five years are decrease to consume of cigarete and do not smoking in the house so as reduce exposure among children under five years. Abstract

ABSTRACT One of the main demography issues in Indonesia is a higher growth rate of population. Nowadays, there are any efforts to control the growth rate of the population through the control of birth rate or fertility by using contraception involuntary by the fertile spouse. This research is a survey by Explanatory research approach to study the determinant influence the implementation of family planning (KB) program.. Population in this research is all of fertile spouse while the number of sample is 94 respondents. The data analysis applied in this research is logistic regression test on confidential level 95 %. The results of research indicates that there is influence of the society value (p=0,017), resource availibility  (p=0,000), the trust to family planning (KB) service (p=0,031) to the utilization of KB program while variable that has not influence is educational level, occupation, earning, perception, and attitude of the official. It is suggested to anyone who serve the family planning (KB) provide the society with extension proactively especially to the fertile spouse to enable them understand the advantages of family planning (KB) program, the side effect of the contraception tools and to change the society paradigm to the value available in society to make them trust and use KB program

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui ketersediaan sarana produksi dan alat-alat mesin pertanian sebelum dan sesudah Program Pengembangan Kawasan Agropolitan di daerah penelitian, untuk mengetahui tingkat keberhasilan Program Pengembangan Kawasan Agropolitan (ditinjau dari segi kelembagaan) di daerah penelitian, untuk menganalisis dampak Program Pengembangan Kawasan Agropolitan terhadap pendapataan petani Kopi Arabika di daerah penelitian. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif, analisis dengan metode skoring dengan bantuan skala Guttman, menggunakan  metode komparatif, yaitu uji beda rata-rata  t-test dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Ketersedian sarana produksi dan alat - alat mesin pertanian semakin memadai setelah adanya Program Pengembangan Kawasan Agropolitan di Desa Bintang Meriah, Kecamatan Raya, Kabupaten Simalungun, Tingkat keberhasilan dari Program Pengembangan Kawasan Agropolitan di Desa Bintang Meriah, Kecamatan Raya, Kabupaten Simalungun tergolong sedang, yaitu sebesar 67,6667 %, dan Terdapat perbedaan yang nyata antara pendapatan petani kopi Arabika sebelum dan sesudah Program Pengembangan Kawasan Agropolitan di Desa Bintang Meriah, Kecamatan Raya, Kabupaten Simalungun. Kata kunci: Kawasan Agropolitan, Program Pengembangan, Tingkat keberhasilan, Pendapatan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is analysis of management function on health protocol in the Medan City Traditional Market Environment. This study uses a qualitative research method with a phenomenological design. This research is conduct in the Medan City Traditional Market Environment. This research is conduct from February to April, 2022. The informants in this study are market managers, traders, and visitors. Qualitative data analysis in this study uses Cresswell's theory which consists of organizing and preparing data for analysis, read or look at all the data, start coding all of the data, used coding process to generate a description, interrelating themes, and interpreting the meaning of themes. The results of the study indicate that management function to support all activities arranged based on needs has not run consistently. To market managers to be consistent in meeting the needs for implementing health protocols and having a high commitment to supporting the implementation of health protocols in the market by forming a special team in implementing health protocol policies, making standard operating procedures for implementing health protocols, providing the necessary infrastructure and continuously carry out socialization, supervision and discipline in order to improve compliance in the market and can implement health protocols in accordance with the health protocol policies that have been contained in Mayor Regulation Number 27 of 2020.

Abstract

Matematika merupakan mata pelajaran yang sangat menantang bagi siswa, baik bagi mereka yang tidak memiliki ketidakmampuan belajar maupun bagi siswa yang memiliki ketidakmampuan belajar. Pendidikan nasional akan terus berkembang karena tujuan utamanya adalah mencapai kemajuan sesuai dengan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, dan pendidikan saat ini merupakan kunci utama dalam pembangunan bangsa Indonesia dan pendidikan nasional. Aritmetika sosial adalah jawabannya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan peneliti adalah desk research dengan jenis penelitian kuantitatif, dan alat pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah desk research/dokumentasi dan analisis data yang ada. Dunia pendidikan, berdasarkan kajian literatur yang dibahas, sangat jelas bahwa pemahaman siswa tentang aritmatika dimungkinkan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the managerial function of the head of the room on the quality of nursing services at the Prof. Mental Hospital. DR. Muhammad Idrem Medan in 2023. The research method used is a quantitative research method with an analytical survey research design type. The data collection technique is by interview using a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques use univariate and bivariate analysis with simple linear regression statistical tests. The results obtained show that there is an influence on the implementation of the managerial functions of the head of the room including planning, organizing, directing, and supervising, including in the good category score range. In conclusion, there is an influence of the managerial function of the head of the room on the quality of nursing services at the Prof. Mental Hospital. DR. Muhammad Idrem Medan in 2023. Abstract

Mathematics is the mother of science which plays an important role in the development of all aspects of the field of science due to the nature of dependence on all fields of various scientific disciplines. The research method used in this research is the literature study method. This study states that learning to solve problems plays an important role in mathematics, which is almost the same as other conventional roles. Core competencies and competencies were discovered that focus on the need for problem solving skills. The conclusion from various studies conducted using literature studies can be concluded that the weakness is that students have difficulty carrying out mathematical proofs and are less careful when carrying out proofs

Abstract

Choosing a BPJS referral hospital is an important decision for an individual who is sick and needs a more specific medical service for their illness. Hemodialysis is a replacement therapy for damaged kidney function that requires repeated actions. This study aims to determine how the influence of individual characteristics, access and perceptions of health services on the selection of BPJS referral hospitals for hemodialysis in Medan City. The type of research used in this study was an analytic survey with a cross-sectional study design, which was conducted on hemodialysis patients who underwent hemodialysis therapy at Malahayati Islamic Hospital, USU Hospital and Rasyida Kidney Specialty Hospital October 2024 with a sample of 100 people taken with accidental sampling technique. The results showed that education, income, hospital image, health worker services, patient safety, travel distance and hospital cleanliness/comfort had an influence on the selection of BPJS referral hospitals for hemodialysis in Medan City. Conduct information campaigns through social media, radio and print media to reach the wider community. The information delivered should be easy to understand and relevant to the needs of patients with renal failure and ensure that hemodialysis services are easily accessible to patients newly diagnosed with renal failure.

Abstract

HRD are one of main factors in the organization or association in achieving the goals of the organization. Job satisfaction of nurses is a factor that can affect characteristics, motivation at work, namely intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation. Royal Prima Medan General Hospital is an organization engaged in the health sector which has 265 nurses. In managing its quality is in order to create job satisfaction. So that, it will have an impact on performance and service in the hospital. The main objective in this study was to determine the effect of characteristics, intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation on nurses' job satisfaction at Royal Prima Medan General Hospital. The research conducted was quantitative research, focusing on observational or measured data expressed in numerical values. The research design used a cross-sectional approach. The research took place at Royal Prima General Hospital Medan from March to October 2024. The population studied consisted of all nurses in the hospital, with a sample size of 100 individuals selected using total sampling due to the large population size. The data analysis method in this study was bivariate using chi- square. The results showed that characteristics have no relationship with nurses' job satisfaction, promotion and job achievement have a significant relationship with job satisfaction, extrinsic motivation has a significant relationship with job satisfaction, namely the job security variable. For Royal Prima Medan General Hospital, it is recommended to provide better promotion, achievement and job security and improve nurses' job satisfaction

Abstract

Padang Brahrang is a village located in the city of Binjai, Langkat Regency, which has many stories ranging from the cleanliness of the village, which has greenery and cultivation of plants ranging from flowers to vegetables. But in this case, we students of North Sumatra State Islamic University are doing Community Service activities in Padang Brahrang village, one of the activities we do is making natural pesticides from papaya leaves that are useful for keeping plants or plants from pests and diseases. . The type of research used in this paper uses qualitative research methods with descriptive approaches. Pesticide manufacturing greatly influenced the development of plants and plants in the village, resulting in the production of pesticides given to the mother and father of village devices that cultivated plants and nearby communities.
