Abstract

Menarche adalah menstruasi pertama yang biasa terjadi dalam rentang usia 10-16 tahun atau pada masa awal remaja ditengah masa pubertas sebelum memasuki masa reproduksi. Datangnya menarche dapat menimbulkan kecemasan. Fungsi keluarga adalah peran keluarga dalam memberikan informasi untuk menjaga kesehatan reproduksi. Fungsi keluarga berhubungan dengan cemas dan tidak cemas  remaja dalam menghadapi menarche. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Hubungan Fungsi Keluarga dengan Kecemasan Menghadapi Menarche pada Remaja Putri Usia Sekolah di SD Negeri 064988 Medan. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswi kelas 5 dan 6 di SD Negeri 064988 berjumlah 85 orang dan seluruhnya dijadikan sampel. Data diperoleh dengan wawancara menggunakan kuesioner, pada uji bivariat dianalisis dengan Chi Square. Hasil penelitian diketahui 41 responden yang termasuk kategori fungsi keluarga baik terdapat 25 orang tidak cemas dan 16 orang mengalami cemas. Kemudian dari 44 responden yang termasuk kategori fungsi keluarga kurang  terdapat 10 orang tidak cemas dan 34 orang mengalami cemas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara fungsi keluarga dengan kecemasan menghadapi menarche diperoleh nilai probabilitas p (0,0001). Kepada orangtua terutama ibu, serta anggota keluarga lainnya diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi kesehatan reproduksi kepada remaja putri agar menambah pengetahuan terutama tentang menstruasi pertama (menarche) sehingga dapat mengurangi kecemasan menghadapi menarche.

Abstract

Modisco is Modified Dietetic Skim and Cotton Sheet Oil , composition consist of milk, margarine and sugar. That used to improve children’s weight quickly and it has been designed to anticipate any bad impact of nutritional status. To produce Modisco is easy and simple but there are many Posyandu cadres don’t have capability to make it. This study was quasy experimental , adopted one group Pre test and Post test design. The sample to this research involved all cadres whose serving and is being official to serve community on Pematang Panjang Health Center, noted 15 cadres. The objective of this research is to determine the influence of training against their knowledge and skill in producing self PMT Modisco. The training has been done in any workshop and display demo. In collecting the data, provided a questionnaire and by interview, while the data of skill by providing the draft list. Post Test was done twice immediately after training, the other test one week after training. In analyzing the data, using a paired sample t-test analysis method. The result of test showed that their knowledge and skill rose up after having training. According to the data analysis with paired sample t-test before and after traning indicated its rate of p =0.000, there is a significant influence between the training to their skill as Posyandu cadres in producing PMT Modisco. It is advised to cadres be proactive to improve knowledge and skill, every ability is encouraged to share especially to mother who have malnutrition child, and to encourage those cadres having good ability always socialize in producing PMT Modisco as an effort  prevent any malnutrition to public where the Helth Center serving. Abstract

To obtain an  optimal growth, the under five years old need the adequate, nutritious and balanced amount of food. The research was to find out the food pattern and nutritional status of under five years old in the watershed and trandas areas in the working area of Singkil health center. This purpose of this descriptive study with cross-sectional design. Total population of the study is 599 under five years old and the sample are 100 under five years old. The results of this study showed that most of the food patterns of under five years old was three times a day, the main food consumed by under five years old in the watershed and trandas was rice amounted 100,0%, the side dish most frequently consumed was fish 92,5% in the watershed and 92,7% in trandas, the vegetables mostly consumed in the watershed was kale 17,5% and in trandas was spinach 15,0%, and only small numbers of the under five years old consumed  fruits, namely banana 10,0% in the watershed and 13,3% in trandas. The food pattern of under five years old the medium category, the level of energy consumption was 72,5% in the watershed and  75,0% in trandas, while the level of protein consumption was 65,0% in the watershed and 80,0% in trandas. Based on the index (weight/height) most of the nutritional status of under five years old was in normal category 87,5% in the watershed  and 91,7% in trandas.     Keywords:  food pattern, nutritional status, under five years old, in the watershed and Trandas

Abstract

Elderly is very susceptible to various diseases; therefore, elderly can be in perfect health if they are able to maintain optimum nutritional status and consume nutritious and varied foods. The aim of the research was to know the description of food consumption behavior and nutritional status of the elderly at Kelurahan Pekan Tanjung Pura, Tanjung Pura Subdistrict, Langkat District, in 2012. The research was descriptive with cross sectional design. The population was 607 elderly who were around 60 years old. The sample is using inclusive criteria with non-dementia criteria, did not lie down on the bed because of illness and were still able to stretch out their hand, obtained the sample of 108 people. The data were gathered by conducting interviews with questionnaires and food frequency forms. The result of the research showed that the respondents’ knowledge and attitude about consuming food was in the category of moderate, their eating pattern was in the category of good (83,3%), and their nutritional status was in the category of normal (47,2%). Some of them were in the category of more nutrition (20,4%), some of them were in the category of  malnutrition (19,4%), and some of them were in the category of obesity (13,0%). It is recommended that elderly should be treated more properly through posyandu (integrated service post) by providing counseling and health promotion. Abstract

The first two year  old is a golden period so that the nutritional needs in this period should really be noted to optimize the brain development. A child’s future will be reflected by the nutritional intake in the first 2 years. If the nourishment is good today, the nutritional status will be good too in the next days and if this time, the nutritional needs are not fulfilled, it will be difficult to substitute the missing nutritional needs during the coming.The objective of this study is to describe the behaviors of farmer women in toddlers’ nourishment at Desa Bangko Bakti Sub-district of Bangko Pusako Regency of Rokan Hilir in 2012. This is a descriptive study using a cross sectional study design. The primary data was obtained by giving questionnaire interviews, 24-hour food recalls and food frequencies, the secondary data was obtained from the village head’s office. Sampling was done by purposive sampling with criteria: toddlers taken to the farm by their parents.The results showed that the women who have a good knowledge but have not been able to comply their toddlers’ nutritional needs in terms of 72.7% energy is due to the toddlers would not eat and the mothers would not persuade. The women with moderate knowledge have been able to meet the nutritional needs of their toddlers in case of 73.6% protein is because they provide eggs as a side dish every day. The women who have a good attitude, but have not been able to fulfill their toddlers’ nutritional needs in case of energy are as much as 71.9%.Based on the research, it is suggested to held a counseling about the importance of toddler’s nourishment, especially energy and protein and to the farmer women, it is suggested to be more concerned with the quantities and qualities of food given to their toddlers, they could also consume other kinds of food as the energy sources to substitute the prior foods such as refined flours, sweet potatoes, and sago. Abstract

The nutritional behavior of mother that consist of knowledge, attitude and action in the daily activities influence the nutrition status of the child. KADARZI is a family which have a balance nutrition behavior, understand the nutrition problem and can solve the nutrition problem for household. The study is aimed to know the relationship between  KADARZI behavior with nutritional status of the children in age of 12-59 months. This research is an analytic survey using cross sectional design. The population is all mother of children by simple random sampling as 106 people. The primary data was collected by observation and direct interview to the respondent and the secondary data from community health center and statistical data from district office of Blangkejeren. The results of this study showed that (67,9%) of the mother had medium knowledge, had good attitude (60,7%).The household had to be the KADARZI as many as (16,0%). The result of statistical test showed that significant correlation between knowledge and attitude with nutritional status of the children. That significant correlation KADARZI, continiously child weighing, to provide the exclusive breastfeeding and used of iodine salt with nutritional status of the children. The finding to do the socialization evenly about the KADARZI and the indicator of behavior to the society in order to prevent and minimize the nutrition problem for the child. Abstract

Milk hasthe most complete nutrient source and it is good for all ages including schoolchildren. School children age is in development and growth phase, hence it is necessaryto increasemilk drinking behaviour.The objective of this researchwas to know the behaviour of milk consumption of the students ofJunior High School Ar-rahman Medan in 2012.The method usedwas survey with descriptive and cross sectional approach. The samples of research were 70 students of the total 230 students. Sampletaking technique was done with proportional sampling that was by seeing the amount of the students from each class namely class VII for 21 students, class VIII for 22 students, and class IX for 27 students.The results of research showed that 85.7% of the knowledge of students were categorized good, 51.4% of the attitude of the students were categorized good, and 78.6% of the actions of the students were categorized less good.Good knowledge and attitude do not guarantee good action forever. Conversely, it may even that the action of the student was less good. It is suggested for the management of Junior High School Ar-Rahman Medanto give information and counseling regarding the consumption of milk in detail, better understanding about the type of milk and this contents. Abstract

The increasing of income level of the productice age group such as employees, so that there is an increasing in labor force in urban areas causes a change in lifestyle. The change in lifestyle includes eating patterns, physical activities and nutritional status. The eating patterns in large cities have been changing from traditional diet to modern diet and the type of activity that does not expend energy has negative impact on health and nutrition issues.This is a descriptive study with cross-sectional research design. The population is all employees at Business Trade Alfa Star Clothing and PLS Ervina with a total of 100 people, sampling conducted by a total sampling. Data collected through interviews using questionnaires, food frequency forms, food recall forms and physical activity forms.The result showed that the eating patterns of tailor employees at Business Trade Alfa Star Clothing and PLS Ervina in unfavorable category as much as 72% with the type and frequency of eating on average rarely (1-2x/week). The average of energy consumed sufficiently as much as 46% and protein is lower 62%. The most physical activity in medium category is 84%. Nutritional status based on BMI largely on the normal category as much as 50% and 39% for the fat one.The need for attention of the company and employees to be able to consume a complete diet (balanced), especially vegetables and fruits every day. Physical activity such as sports and activities that expend energy in order to be healthy and fit every day. Keywords:  eating pattern, physical activity, nutritional status, employees tailor.

Abstract

Diet given to patient lung tuberculosis is diet high calories high protein (HCHP). Diet high calories high protein given after diagnosis patient upheld. Diet high calories high protein was that contain energy and protein above the needs of the normal. Component nutrition of the major diet is energy, proteins, fat and carbohydrates. Component nutrition diet is very important to buttress healing process on the patient lung tuberculosis. The purpose of this study is food in the form diet High Calories High Protein (HCHP) patients treated in the Lung Tuberculosis Hospital Martha Friska Pulo Brayan. This research design is descriptive research account with design cross sectional of dietary by the department of nutrition Hospital Martha Friska Pulo Brayan. There was a 15 sample diet by the criteria High Calories High Protein I (HCHP I) diet. The research results showed that avaibility of nutritive substance, diet the content of energy, protein, fat and carbohydrates are not meet the standards on diet high colories high protein (HCHP). It is caused by the absence of standards, the portion standards recipes and standards of tool used. Energy requirement of 39%-67%, protein requirement of 39%-68%, fat requirement of 51%-80% and carbohydrate requirement of 25%-71% of standards. Abstract

Fruit and vegetable is one of the sources of the fiber consumed by fishermen. Consumption of fruit and vegetable by fishermen supplied  by company. PT. Usaha Jaya, PT. Maju Jaya and PT. Usaha Keramat Jaya are the company move in areas of fish catcher.This research is a descriptive study with cross-sectional design. The sample is  all population. The results of research show that type fruit in general consumed the fishermen at PT. Usaha Jaya and PT. Usaha Keramat Jaya  is papaya fruit (66,7% and 28,3%) while fishermen at PT. Maju Jaya is banana fruit (66,7%). And for type vegetables in general consumed the fishermen at PT. Usaha Jaya is cucumber, cabbage and pumpkin (33,3%) while fishermen at PT. Maju Jaya is eggplant (33,3%) and  fishermen at PT. Usaha Keramat Jaya is cabbage (50,0%).  Amount of fruit and vegetables consumption the fishermen at PT. Usaha Jaya, PT. Maju Jaya and PT. Usaha Keramat Jaya less than 300 gram and 200 gram  a day (100,0%). Frequency consumption of fruit and vegetables the fishermen at PT. Usaha Jaya 4-6 a week (100,0%), while fishermen at PT. Maju Jaya and PT. Usaha Keramat Jaya 1-3 a week. Average fiber consumption by fishermen at PT. Usaha Jaya, PT. Maju Jaya and PT. Usaha Keramat Jaya from fruit and vegetable  (2,9 gram, 3,0 gram and 3,1 gram) and for  average contribution of fruit and vegetable  fishermen at PT. Usaha Jaya, PT. Maju Jaya and PT.
