Abstract

Train is one of mass transportation’s mode in great demand by the people of Indonesia. Purwosari and Solo Balapan stations are place which often visited by the public to travel long distances by using the train from economy class, business and executive. With so many types of trains that pass through the station, so the queuing analysis needs to be done to find out how the train service system at the station.  From the results obtained, the queuing model at the Purwosari station is (M/M/2):(GD/∞/∞) for model lanes of 1 and 4 and lanes of 2 and 3. For the queuing model from lanes of 1 and 5 in the Solo Balapan station obtained models (M/M/2):(GD/∞/∞). Later models of queuing lanes of 2,3, and 4 at the station Solo Balapan is (M/M/3):(GD/∞/∞), while lane of 6 is (M/M/1):(GD/∞/∞). Keywords: Train, Purwosari and Solo Balapan Stations, Queuing models.

Abstract

Maternal mortality rate is one of the crucial problems of death in Indonesia. Maternal deaths in East Java province is likely to increase so that the role of data and information are very important. Negative Binomial Regression is a model that can be used to address the problem overdispersion. While the method of spatial attention factor for type discrete data is Geographically Weighted Poisson Regression Model (GWPR). This study was conducted on the comparison between the Negative Binomial Regression and GWPR to discuss the factors that influence maternal mortality rate in the province of East Java. Indicators that affect maternal mortality include maternal health services. Maternal health services such as antenatal care, obstetric complications treated, Aid deliveries by skilled health care child birth, and neonatal health care services handled neonatal complications. The results of testing the suitability of model shows that there is no influence of spatial factors on maternal mortality rate in the province of East Java. Based on Negative Binomial Regression derived variable number of puerperal women who received vitamin A significantly affect maternal mortality rate, while for GWPR is divided into six clusters districts/cities by same significant variables. From the comparison value of AIC was found that GWPR better to analyzing Maternal mortality in East Java because it has the smallest value of AIC

Abstract

The process of structural development in developing countries is a must. Each sector that developed is related to one another. These sectors associated with the supporting factor named transport, means transport has a vital and strategic functions in the development of other sectors. Education is one of the construction sector that growing rapidly, especially in big cities, and transportation is one of the factors supporting it: since schools and universities is one of the important generator of domestic transportation network. Each university holds up to tens of thousands of new college students every year. In this point, the transport activity in big cities is becoming increasingly complex, due to the increase in the private transportation is not matched by the increase in roads, causing congestion. Factors that influence the decision of the use of private transport on the student comprehensively analyzed using structural equation based on the variance, Partial Least Square (PLS). PLS is a powerful analytical method, though it’s not based on many assumptions (soft model), for example, the multivariate normal assumptions, it can use nominal scale up to ratios, as well as the sample size shouldn’t be large. PLS estimates the model  od relationship between latent variables and also latent variables with the indicator. Based on the analysis we concluded that the decision on the use in private transportations of Diponegoro University students affected by a combination of latent variables such time management, cost, physical, social interaction, and the intervening variable perception of 68.28%.Keywords: transportation, using of private transportation, Partial Least Square (PLS)

Abstract

Major specialization at High School is aimed to gives opened opportunity for students to choose subject that are interest and develop their potential in accordance with the abilities, interests, talents, and personality. Major specialization at High school is influenced by some factors. To detect those factors, used biner logistic regression method and Multivariate Adaptive Regression Spline (MARS). Biner Logistic Regression is method that describes relationship between dependent variable and some independent variable, with independent variable has been coded 1 as representing the presence of the characteristic, and 0 as representing the absence of the characteristic. MARS is multivariate nonparametric regression method that development of Recursive Partitioning Regression (RPR) method and Spline method for high dimensional data that produces accurate prediction and continuous models on knots. Both of the methods are compared to know the best method used in research. From the result of analysis using biner logistic regression method and MARS, concluded that major specialization has been influenced by mathematic score, science score and relationship between students and friends. Abstract

ABSTRAK   Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada aspek kognitif dan afektif dalam proses pembelajaran Biologi khususnya pokok materi ekosistem menggunakan pembelajaran model Talking Stick. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas bersifat kolaboratif antara peneliti yaitu sebagai pelaku yang memberikan tindakan kelas dengan guru mata pelajaran biologi sebagai subjek yang membantu dalam perencanaan dan pengumpulan data. Subjek penelitian tindakan yaitu siswa kelas VII D SMP Negeri 3 Kartasura, Sukoharjo yang berjumlahkan 35 siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri dari  perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan dengan teknik dokumentasi, observasi, dan post test. Analisis data yang digunakan dengan teknik deskriptif kualitatif yang terdiri atas tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran biologi. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari peningkatan banyaknya siswa yang tuntas KKM (≥69) yaitu sebelum adanya tindakan terdapat 7 siswa (20%), pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 23 siswa (65,8%), dan setelah pelaksanaan siklus II menjadi 31 siswa (88,6%) tuntas. Peningkatan ketuntasan KKM siswa menjadikan rata-rata kelas turut meningkat yaitu dari sebelumnya 55,77 menjadi 73,06 dan meningkat lagi menjadi 74,77. Peningkatan pada aspek afektif dilihat dari hasil penskoran tiap indikator yang menunjukkan peningkatan minat belajar biologi. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari peningkatan prosentase ketuntasan siswa, yaitu pada siklus I sebanyak 25,7% menjadi 65,7% pada siklus II. Berdasarkan penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran model Talking Stick terbukti dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pokok materi ekosistem kelas VII D SMP Negeri 3 Kartasura, Sukoharjo tahun pelajaran 2011/2012.   Kata kunci : Hasil belajar, Talking Stick, ekosistem.

Abstract

Jamur tiram putih  disebut juga dengan jamur kayu karena jamur tersebut tumbuh pada media kayu lapuk. Jamur tiram putih banyak digemari masyarakat karena selain memiliki cita rasa yang enak juga memiliki banyak manfaat bagi tubuh. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui  adanya pengaruh molase dengan dosis berbeda pada produktivitas jamur tiram putih. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak  lengkap  satu faktorial yaitu pemberian molase dengan  empat  taraf konsentrasi 0 %, 7,5 %, 14,5 % dan 22 %  / baglog dan dilakukan tiga ulangan. Untuk pengujian hipotesis dengan anova satu jalan (One Way Anova), hasil pengujian hipotesis pada pemenuhan miseliumdiperoleh nilai probabilitas 0,001 < 0.05 H0 ditolak artinya antara ke empat perlakuan tidak sama atau berbeda nyata maka dilakukan Pos Hok Test uji lanjut Anova dengan uji LSD. Berat buah jamur tiram putih panen I diperoleh nilai probabilitas 0,021 < 0.05 H0 ditolak artinya antara ke empat perlakuan tidak sama atau berbeda nyata nyata maka dilakukan Pos Hok Test uji lanjut Anova dengan uji LSD, sedangkan pada parameter yang lain diperoleh kesimpulan H0  diterima artinya tidak terdapat perbedaan antara ke empat perlakuan.  Hasil penelitian pada pengamatan pemenuhan miseliumdiperoleh perlakuan yang memberikan pengaruh paling baik yaitu M1 (7,5 % molase/ baglog) dengan rata-rata pemenuhan miselium16,3 hari dan perlakuan yang memberikan pengaruh kurang baik yaitu M0 atau kontrol dengan rata-rata 27,7 hari. Pada jumlah total tubuh buah jamur diperoleh perlakuan yang memberikan pengaruh paling baik yaitu M3 (22 % molase/ baglog) dengan rata-rata 11,5 buah dan perlakuan yang memberikan pengaruh kurang baik yaitu M0 (kontrol) dengan rata-rata 9 buah. Pada berat buah jamur tiram putih perlakuan yang memberikan pengaruh paling baik yaitu M3  (22 % molase/ baglog) dengan rata-rata 78,2 g dan  perlakuan yang memberikan  pengaruh kurang baik yaitu M0 dengan rata-rata 48,85 g. Dari hasil tersebut diperoleh kesimpulan M1 dosis molase paling rendah (7,5%) berpengaruh pada pemenuhan miselium dan M3 dosis molase paling tinggi (22 %) berpengaruh pada jumlah tubuh buah dan berat buah jamur.  Kata Kunci: Molase, Penyebaran Miselium, Jumlah Tubuh Jamur Tiram Putih, Berat Buah Jamur Tiram Putih

Abstract

In learning activities there are many factors that determine learning success, not only from students, but also from the teacher and the learning methods used. Submission of boring material will make many students unmotivated in the learning process so as to make learning outcomes / learning achievements low, this also happens in SDN Kalisube Class Vl Semester I 2016/2017 school year. To increase students' motivation and learning achievement, the teacher applies and uses the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) Cooperative learning model in the Science Basic Competency map comparing the nature of the ability to conduct heat from various objects. The study was divided into two cycles.After conducting research the results obtained by students are, in the initial study showed only 3 children or 15% of 20 students. completed learning, this is far above the established criteria that is a minimum of 90% of students completed from the total number of students, in cycle I there were 65% or 13 students who completed, cycle 2 there were 100% or 20 students who had already completed study, the average value obtained in the initial study 62 and in the first cycle increased to 75 in the second cycle an average value of 87.Judging from the acquisition of learning outcomes can be interpreted that the Learning Model Cooperative learning model Type Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) has a positive impact on the learning process. Students are more motivated to learn, more active and mastery learning increases. Thus the hypothesis that the researcher proposes in this Class action research is "proven"

Abstract

Abstrak:Salah satu manfaat Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) di bidang pendidikan adalah membantu peserta didik tunanetra dalam mengakses informasi dan memahami beragam teks yang tidak mungkin diakses dengan keterbatasan penglihatan mereka, termasuk dalam mengakses soal-soal Ujian Nasional (UN). Ada tiga model penyajian soal-soal UN yang selama ini dikembangkan untuk peserta didik tunanetra di Indonesia, yaitu: (1) model soal UN dengan cetak/font diperbesar, (2) model soal UN dengan cetak huruf Braille, dan (3) model soal UN dengan dibacakan oleh pengawas UN atau guru pendamping. Ketiga model ini pada kenyataannya masih memiliki berbagai kelemahan dan belum bisa memenuhi kebutuhan peserta didik tunanetra dalam mengakses soal-soal UN. Oleh karena itu, permasalahan dalam kajian ini adalah bagaimana pemanfaatan media audio untuk peserta didik tunanetra dalam mengerjakan UN. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengungkapkan sebuah model media audio yang dimanfaatkan oleh peserta didik tunanetra dalam mengerjakan UN. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa model soal soal UN dengan media audio ini dapat dimanfaatkan dalam UN untuk peserta didik tunanetra. Model UN berbasis audio ini memiliki kelebihan, yaitu: (1) peserta didik tunanetra dapat mengakses soal-soal UN dengan kualitas dan standar yang sama, (2) efisiensi waktu dalam mengakses soal-soal UN, (3) soal lebih mudah digandakan, dan (4) efisiensi biaya. Oleh karena itu, langkah-langkah nyata dalam mengembangkan sebuah model UN berbasis audio untuk peserta didik tunanetra sangat diperlukan.Kata kunci: Media Audio, Ujian Nasional, Peserta Didik TunanetraAbstract:One of the advantages of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education is to help the visually impaired students access information and understand various texts, that couldn’t be accessed by their limited sight, including in accessing test items of National Exams. There are three models of presenting NE questions that have, so far, been developed for visually-impaired students in Indonesia, namely: 1) NE questions are printed with bigger characters, 2) NE questions are printed in braile, and 3) NE questions are read by an education officer or assisting teacher. In fact, the three models still have some weaknesses and have not been able to comprehensively solve the problem of visually-impaired students in doing the NE. Therefore, the problem of this study is how to utilize audio-media for the visually-impaired studetns in doing NE. The objective of this study is to expose the use of an audio-media model for the visually-impaired students in doing NE. The study result shows that the NE questions in the format of audio-media model can be done by visually-impaired students. Audio-media based-NE has some advantages: 1) Visually-impaired students can access NE questions with the same quality and standard as normal students; 2) The students get more efficient time in doing the NE; 3) NE questions are easier to be multiplied; and 4) There is more cost efficiency. Therefore, concrete actions to develop audio-media based-NE model for the visuallyimpaired students are highly required.Keywords: Audio Media, National Examination, Visually-Impaired Students

Abstract

Pendidikan adalah suatu pondasi bagi seseorang untuk bekal masa depanya. Dimulai dari pendidikan dasar yang harus ditempuh sampai dengan dilanjutkan pendidikan tinggi.Dalam sebuah pendidikan khusunya pada sekolah dasar proses pembelajaran menentukan keberhasilan untuk tercapainya sebuah tujuan pembelajaran. Dengan melibatkan sebuah media pembelajaran tentunya akan menjadikan sebuah proses belajar mengajar akan lebih menarik dan bermakna terhadap siswa. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian pengembangan dengan Model Penelitian Borg Gall dengan tujuan untuk untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V di sekolah dasar. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN Sidowarek 2 Ngoro Jombang. Penelitian ini berlangsung secara tatap muka,pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Abstract

The quality of learning strongly influences the success of education. Pancasila education is a crucial lesson taught in elementary schools because it directs the behavior and character of students so that it conforms to the norms, customs, and rules that apply. This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in the material of cooperation lifestyle by applying the Quiz Team learning method at Elementary School. This research uses classroom action research or PTK by applying the research design from Kemmis & Taggart covering four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Godog 01, totaling 17 students. Data collection techniques through learning achievement tests, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was descriptive qualitative, and quantitative. The indicator of success is ≥75% of the number of students who have exceeded the specified KKM. The results showed that the application of the Quiz team learning method to the Pancasila Education subject was able to improve the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Godog 01. Before being given action, the acquisition of student learning outcomes that exceeded the KKM was only 12 students or equivalent to 70.5%. In the action activities of the first cycle, students who exceeded the KKM were still the same as before, but there was an increase in the average class value of 78 to 82. In cycle II, as many as 15 (88.2%) exceeded the completeness score. The class average cycle I and II scores rose from 82 to 85. In conclusion, the quiz team method was effectively used to improve learning outcomes in the material of the cooperation lifestyle of elementary school students. Overall, this research contributes to improving learning outcomes that end at students' academic level.
