Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penyiraman air kelapa muda (Cocos nucivera)dan bokasi krinyuh (Chromolaenaodorata)terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman sawi(Brassica juncea L.).Penelitian ini disusun berdasarkan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dalam pola faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor.Faktor pertama adalah air kelapa muda yang terdiri atas 4 taraf: tanpa air kelapa (A0), air kelapa muda  100 ml polibag-1(A1),  150 ml polibag-1 (A2), 200 ml polibag-1 (A3). Faktor kedua adalah bokasi krinyuh yang terdiri atas 4 taraf yaitu tanpa bokasi  krinyuh (K0), bokasi krinyuh 75 gram polibag-1 (K1), bokasi krinyuh 100 gram polibag-1 (K2), bokasi krinyuh 125 gram polibag-1 (K3).Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa interaksi antara air kelapa muda dan bokasi krinyuh tidak berpengaruh terhadap semua variabel yang diamati: mulai dari tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, berat segar tanaman, berat segar akar, berat kering tanaman, berat kering akar. Perlakuan air kelapa muda secara mandiri berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap variabel yang diamati yakni tinggi tanaman pada 16 HST dan berpengaruh nyata pada 28 HST, jumlah daun 16 HST dan luas daun 16 HST.Pemberian bokasi krinyuh memberikan pengaruh sangat nyata  terhadap semua variabel pertumbuhan tanaman sawi yakni tinggi tanaman 10, 16, 22, 28 HST,  jumlah daun 10, 16, 22, 28 HST, luas daun 10, 16, 22, 28 HST, berat segar tanaman, berat segar akar, berat kering tanaman,dan berat kering akar.Kata Kunci: Air kelapa muda, bokasi, krinyuh dan tanaman sawi.

Abstract

Produksi kacang tanah varietas lokal masih  rendah karena tingkat kesuburan tanah yang rendah. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui pengaruh dosis pupuk bokashi limbah ampas tahu dan pupuk fosfat terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi kacang tanah vaietas lokal muna. Penelitian ini berlangsung mulai Agustus hingga November 2021, di Laboratorium Lapangan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Halu Oleo, Kendari. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) dalam pola faktorial, 2 faktor. Faktor I yaitu dosis bokashi limbah ampas tahu (K), yang terdiri dari 4 taraf: Tanpa bokashi  (K0), 5 t ha-1 (K1), 10 t ha-1  (K2), dan 15 t   ha-1  (K3). Faktor II yaitu dosis pupuk fosfat (S) yang terdiri dari 3 taraf: Tanpa pupuk fosfat (S0), 100 kg ha-1  (S1),  200 kg ha-1 (S2).  Analisis data menggunakan analisis ragam, jika  hasil analisis berpengaruh nyata (Fhit> Ftab) maka dilanjutkan dengan DMRT pada α=0.05. Produksi biji kacang tanah per hektar tertinggi yaitu 3,60 ton pada pupuk bokashi limbah ampas tahu 15 t ha-1 dan pada pupuk fosfat 200 kg ha-1 menghasilkan produksi biji 2,69 ton.Kata kunci: bokashi; fosfat; kacang tanah; limbah ampas tahu; pupuk

Abstract

Yam (Dioscorea hispida Dennst) is a tuber crop that belonges to food sources and has not been widely recognized by the public. Aside from being a food ingredient, it can also be used as a natural pesticide. Until now, efforts to use the potential of yam have not been handled well. This research was conducted at the In vitro Laboratory of the Faculty of agriculture, Haluoleo University, from May to July 2014. The purpose of the study was to obtain the proper concentration of BAP to induce yam plant shoots in vitro. The research design used was a completely randomized design with 5 replications. One segment of the stem explants were grown on MS basic medium with different concentrations of BAP (0.5-4 ppm), with 5 replications and each replication consisted of 1 bottle containing 2 explants. Data were analyzed using Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The research results showed that the addition of various concentrations of BAP affected the span of the emergence of the first shoots but did not affect the percentage of explants alive and growing shoots. BAP concentration of 2 mg / L was the optimal concentration to induce shoots of yam (Dioscorea hispida) with a span began to shoot appearance at week 4 after planting.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of combining Kinetin and IAA on the growth of kepok banana shoots in vitro. The research was conducted at the In Vitro Laboratory, Agrotechnology Unit, Faculty of Agriculture, Halu Oleo University, from January to April 2023. The study utilized a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with six treatments: P1 = (Kinetin 1 mg L⁻¹ + IAA 2 mg L⁻¹), P2 = (Kinetin 3 mg L⁻¹ + IAA 4 mg L⁻¹), P3 = (Kinetin 5 mg L⁻¹ + IAA 6 mg L⁻¹), P4 = (Kinetin 2 mg L⁻¹ + IAA 1 mg L⁻¹), P5 = (Kinetin 4 mg L⁻¹ + IAA 3 mg L⁻¹), and P6 = (Kinetin 6 mg L⁻¹ + IAA 5 mg L⁻¹). Each treatment had five replicates, resulting in 30 experimental units, with four Kepok banana shoot explants per culture bottle. The observed variables included shoot emergence time, number of shoots, shoot length, and shoot growth percentage. Results indicated that the combination of Kinetin and IAA concentrations significantly affected the number of shoots and shoot emergence time and shoot length, but did not significantly affect the shoot growth percentage. The best treatment was P2 = (Kinetin 3 mg L⁻¹ + IAA 4 mg L⁻¹) for in vitro growth of Kepok banana shoots.

Abstract

Fish-balls Processing businesses in Korumba Subdistrict, Kendari City, are generally home industry that are conducted to fill leisure time and in form household scale. This product can be enriched with Moringa leaves and chopped carrots, which are the source of vegetable protein and fiber. The target of community service is Dasawisma Kemuning which has 10 members. The objective of these community service efforts is to enhance the knowledge and abilities of Dasawisma Kemuning members in terms of (1) the production process of fish balls in healthy way and nutritious; (2) principles of making hygienic functional fish balls (3) business implementation of processed functional fish ball products that enriched with Moringa leaves and chopped carrots on a household scale; (4) the benefits of processed fish ball products as functional food that is cheap, healthy and nutritious. Derived from the entirety of training activities, not only in discussions, but also in demonstrations of making functional fish balls. The findings indicated that participants' understanding of the training content improved significantly, rising from an average score of 27.55% before the training to 98.25% in the final evaluation. Based on field implementation from the functional fish ball business shows that a raw material requirement of 2 kg/day, 295 fish balls were obtained. Based price per item of IDR 1100,- a profit/month of IDR is obtained. 3,135.00,-. Calculations of the financial aspects of functional fish balls have been resulting in a BEP value (product units sold) of 746. If in one month you can sell 746 fish balls, all costs incurred in a month are covered.

Abstract

The problems of members of the Manggarai Women’s Farmers Group in Padaleu Village, Kambu District, Kendari City are (1) so far no party has socialized the adverse effects of using inorganic fertilizers and the trend of public awareness of consuming organic food ingredients so that farmers are directed to use organic fertilizers. (2) the target audience has not received an explanation about LOF, including the basic ingredients, benefits, how to make it, and its application to vegetable plants in the yard. This activity aims to (1) Improve the knowledge of Women Farmer Group members about the adverse effects of using inorganic fertilizers, (2) Provide understanding to the community about using rice washing water as a basic ingredient for LOF, and (3) Increase knowledge about LOF methods, materials and applications. This activity begins with direct observation in the field to discover the problem and determine the method used in the activity—next, socialization with members of the Women’s Farmers Group. The method used is a combination of counseling and technical guidance as follows: (1) Socialization through delivering materials, lectures and discussions regarding the negative impacts of inorganic fertilizers used on humans, soil and the environment; the importance/benefits of LOF and what basic ingredients can be used in making LOF; and benefits of LOF, and (2) Making liquid organic fertilizer based on rice washing water with the help of EM-4 to be applied to organic vegetable plants in the yard. LOF is fermented for 2 weeks, resulting in a 60 L volume. Applying LOF based on rice washing water can increase the growth and yield of vegetable plants in the yard.

Abstract

Masyarakat Desa Jati Bali  Kabupaten Konawe Selatan, baik yang produktif maupun non produktif dalam bidang pertanian, akan terlibat dalam proyek PKM ini yang akan menerapkan teknologi pemupukan organik (POC) yang ramah lingkungan. Penanaman sayuran setiap tahun dengan pupuk kimia di desa Jati Bali menurunkan unsur hara tanah dan kesehatan masyarakat. Di era modern ini, asupan nutrisi yang sehat dan bergizi sangat dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan daya tahan tubuh atau imunitas masyarakat setempat. Oleh karena itu, teknologi POC diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas unsur hara tanah, meningkatkan produksi, dan mendapatkan tanaman sayuran organik. Di desa Jati Bali juga banyak limbah pertanian dan kotoran ternak yang tidak diolah dengan baik, sehingga tidak memberikan nilai tambah bagi masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan pupuk organik harus dilakukan untuk memperbaiki lingkungan yang tercemar oleh pupuk kimia dan juga dapat meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat setempat dengan memanfaatkan limbah di sekitar untuk menjadi pupuk organik. Pupuk organikmemiliki harga lebih mahal daripada limbah kotoran ternak yang belum diolah. Oleh karena itu, solusi yang ditawarkan pada kegiatan PKM ini adalah penggunaan teknologi POC agar tidak ketergantungan dengan penggunaan pupuk kimia. Ini akan membuat lahan usahatani lebih produktif. Dalam pengabdian ini, tiga teknologi akan diterapkan: (1) pembuatan pupuk organik cair; (2) pengemasan; dan (3) pemasaran tanaman sayuran melalui media online seperti Watshap dan Facebook. Kegiatan pengabdian ini telah berhasil dilaksanakan. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa pupuk organik cair limbah pertanianjuga dapat menjadi alternatif yang ramah lingkungan dan berkelanjutan untuk menggantikan pupuk kimia sinteti
