Abstract

ABSTRAK Based on the survey results of Saiful Mujani Research and Consulting in 2016, 52 percent political parties in Indonesia got a low trust and bad judgments of society. Overcome this, the Regional Leadership Board (DPW) Partai NasDem Bali formed a political branding. The purpose of this research is to discuss the political branding strategy undertaken by DPW Partai NasDemBali in building brand identity, so as to introduce and differentiate the party with others. This research uses qualitative descriptive approach with informant determination using purposive sampling and snowball sampling technique. Data obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. This research data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The result of this research shows that the strategy of political branding conducted by DPW Partai NasDem Bali in establishing brand identity is starting with the determination of political segmentation and positioning, then using line extension strategy, brand extension and multibrand by forming political branding in the form of tagline, logo and jingle "Sing NasDem, Sing Keren". Abstract

Nowdays, the development of information and communication technology affect various aspects of life in society, one of the aspects is governance. Various innovations are designed to improve the effective service to the community. One of the services is a declaration of the concept of smart city. Denpasar is one of cities in Indonesia that has launched this concept by improving various services, either based on technology or not. Denpasar Smart City concept is described in six dimensions, such as smart economy, smart society, smart government, smart mobility, smart environment, and smart living pattern. These new services and innovations are important to be known by the public in Denpasar City. Communication by the government is the key, so that all these services can be understood and utilized by the community and other stakeholders. Public Relations as a communicator in the organization has a role to make it happen. In practice, government public relations in Indonesia has not been fully able to perform the role of public relations. This is due to the constraints on organizational structure, human resources, and facilities. This study examines how the role of Public Relations of Denpasar City Government in realizing Denpasar Smart City. This study used a qualitative approach with data collection conducted through interview method. According to this research, the fact is Public Relations Denpasar City in realizing Denpasar Smart City perform a big role in terms of publication. In addition, in the organization of Denpasar City Government, public relations has their role as facilitator and communication technician. Abstract

ABSTRACT HIV / AIDS has become a common problem not only in Indonesia but worldwide. HIV / AIDS can attack anyone, including women. Lack of communication, information and education makes also women one of the groups vulnerable to contracting as well as groups that can also transmit HIV / AIDS. In addition, women also experience social problems such as getting negative stigma and discrimination from the surrounding environment. The Bali Peduli Foundation is a non-profit social foundation that handles HIV / AIDS issues. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. This research uses interviews, observation and documentation for data collection. The results of the research conducted at the Bali Peduli Foundation are prevention and mitigation. The Bali Peduli Foundation distinguishes its audience before being educated in preventing and controlling the community regarding HIV / AIDS in women. Abstract

ABSTRACT Some Indonesian people still consider that sexual, bisexual and other sex behaviors which are incompatible with religious and cultural norms as deviant behavior. Currently, homosexuality is still considered to be something distorted because this kind of sexual behavior can not be treated generally and not acceptable to society. This condition can make gay individuals can not open themselves freely and affect the process of gay self-disclosure in the looking for a partner. The process of gay self-disclosure in looking for a partner can also be seen from the access to media information and gay community in Indonesia. Moreover, the sophistication of the global world today, gays have the convenience to be able to download applications, and facilitate them in the process of interaction and looking for a partner, in this case the researcher focus on Tinder application. This study aims to find how the process of gays self-disclosure in looking for a partner on Tinder application. The method of this study is qualitative method and post-positivism paradigm. The results of this study is the gays are more frank in the process of self-disclosure on Tinder application with the duration of conversation is 2 days to 10 days from the results. The informers indicate that the gays prefer to open themselves further in a self-disclosure in the Personal Messenger application, such as line and whatsapp aplication, and the gays that are Tinder users have different conversational intensity at doing thier self-disclosure as a couple-seeking process and relationship development process on Tinder application. Where the difference is the way to build a comfortable atmosphere in a conversation so that the process of relationship formation goes well and expected deeper. Abstract

PRO Denpasar+ is one of Denpasar government program since 2013 that consider to public services function. There are 40 government agencies, 4 districs, 43 village level and others agencies in the internal Denpasar City using this program. The aim of this research is to determine the internal communication network of Denpasar city in managing PRO Denpasar+ program. The result of this research shows that the internal communication network used by the government of Denpasar City in managing PRO Denpasar+ program establishes four clicks that describe the tendency of interaction conducted by members of the organization, both between superior and subordinate, and among members who have the same level in the office. Abstract

ABSTRAK   Pro 2 RRI Denpasar adalah salah satu Programa (stasiun radio) milik Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) yang awalnya bernama Pro 2 Paradise FM. Perubahan format programa mengharuskan Pro 2 RRI Denpasar menyusun strategi komunikasi yang lebih kompetitif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi Pro 2 RRI Denpasar dalam menghadapi perubahan format programa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif-deskriptif. Hasil temuan penelitian menunjukan bahwa segementasi, target dan posisi dari Pro 2 RRI Denpasar sudah ditentukan oleh LPP RRI Pusat, sehingga strategi komunikasi yang pertama adalah menentukan komunikator yaitu tim kreatif yang dibantu oleh Seksi Programa 2 dan Seksi Komuikasi Publik. Pro 2 RRI Denpasar melakukan audience research untuk mengenal khalayak. Pro 2 RRI Denpasar dalam menyusun pesan menggunakan sifat pesan informatif. Pro 2 RRI Denpasar mengunakan media konvensional berupa media elektronik, media luar ruang dan media format kecil. Pro 2 RRI Denpasar melakukan evaluasi dengan cara menghitung jumlah pendengar aktif yang dihitung melalui jumlah atensi SMS, telepon dan media sosial   Kata kunci : Perubahan Format Programa, Pro 2 RRI Denpasar, Strategi Komunikasi

Abstract

The development of social media in Bali is prevalent in the era of cyberspace. This happened in Desa Adat Kuta, especially among Sekaa Teruna (youth organization) of Desa Adat Kuta. Kuta is the center of tourism destinations in Bali with a complete tourist facilities, making it the fastest to experience globalization effects compared to other regions. This study aims to determine the effect of social media use on face to face social interaction in Sekaa Teruna of Desa Adat Kuta. This research uses quantitative research method in explanative form and inferential statistic data analysis. The quantitative data was collected by survey method, using questionnaire as main instrument of research. Stratified random sampling was used as sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is a simple linear regression test with data processing using SPSS program computational calculation. The results showed that the use of social media significantly have positive effect on face to face social interaction in Sekaa Teruna Desa Adat Kuta, Badung, Bali. These results indicate that the higher the use of social media then the higher the face to face social interaction on Sekaa Teruna Indigenous Villages Kuta, Badung, Bali.

Abstract

Stakeholders is a group, individual, or a community which could influence or to be influenced by the organization’s goals. In order to get their goals, some organization put high priority on the stakeholders, it aimed to protect sustainability of the organization. Had a good stakeholders relations was the most important thing to to. D’OZ Radio is an profit organization which put the advertiser as the one of their main stakeholders. Maintained the communication strategy is the most important to do for get the organization’s goals. This research aimed to know which strategy that was used by the Oz Radio Bali, in maintained a good stakeholders relations. This researched used qualitative method which interviewed, observation, and documentary. Base on the result, D’OZ Radio Bali used persuasive strategy and dialogue strategy in maintain their stakeholders relations with the advertiser as the most important stakeholders. Abstract

ABSTRACT Ads can be defined as a form of activity in communicate, attract attention and persuade some or all of the community to take action in responding to the ideas, goods, or services presented. Variety of ways conducted by advertisers in order to get the attention of prospective customers, one of them by using the object. The woman in the ad is always shown as a figure not far from domestic roles, sometimes also positioned as subordinate to men. But in the further development of various stereotypes of women who are weak are now starting to show changes in positions where women are shown at par with men as in ad Belvita Biscuit Bunga Citra Lestari version Image Sustainably. By using descriptive qualitative approach as well as methods of analysis of semiotics Roland Barthes the results of this research show that the construction of the image of women that is formed is a woman who has a position of equality with male or gender equality. Abstract

ABSTRACT     The BPJS program implemented in the Puri Raharja General Hospital was an effort from the government to equalize the health services. The objective was to find out the service quality for patients of BPJS participants in the case study of Puri Raharja General Hospital year 2016. Its research method was qualitative method by using data sources from primary data and secondary data. Its unit of analysis was looking for information regarding the analysis of public service quality on patients of BPJS. Informant determination technique used by the researchers used purposive sampling technique. Its data collection technique used by the researchers was interview and observation, while its technique to analyze the data was data reduction, data presentation, and draw the conclusion and result. This study used five dimensions tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy. The BPJS analysis program at Puri Raharja General Hospital seen from the overall aspects has been running well. The obstacle encountered in implementing BPJS Program was the lack of socialization from the BPJS parties about the service mechanism. It made the different perception between the hospital parties and patients of BPJS’ participants. Keywords: quality, public service, BPJS, five dimension
